We decided to come to this place as it specializes in gluten free options (primarily for my wife), and we were quite happy we did. It was a really nice experience! As you walk in, you have a choice to sit inside or out. Although it was somewhat cool that day, we noticed that a portion of the outside patio area was enclosed and had heaters, so we tried that. It was quite comfortable. On to the menu ... so many great options! Especially for someone that eats GF! I went with the Neuske Bacon BLT, which was quite tasty! And my wife ordered the GF Lemon-Ricotta Buttermilk Pancakes and said they were excellent! We thought we were done, but our server suggested that we sample their GF Better Than Ben-YAYS, so we did. Oh my! It's hard to believe these are GF! So pillowy and delicious! And they also come with a choice of dipping sauces, of which we chose Rubees Hot Honey and the Caramelized Toffee. Both excellent! This covers 2 separate visits, one where I was "caught," and the second to verify how. On the first visit, our server offered cocktails at happy hour prices. Sounded good, so I ordered my favorite, a Cosmo, no call brands of liquor. As our dinner progressed, server came back to remind us that it was still happy hour so I ordered a second Cosmo. Imagine my surprise when I was presented a check with 2 Cosmos, at FULL PRICE PLUS AN ADDITIONAL SURCHARGE. Server then said martinis were not on happy hour. Seems like she could have explained that. Fast forward a year later and our dining group meets there again. This time I arrive early and go straight to the bar so that I can verify the happy hour policy. The bartender confirms that martinis are not on happy hour then explains that the additional surcharge is because a Cosmo has a splash of cranberry juice, so it's martini price plus. Never heard this before. I cheaped out and ordered a house pinot grigio. Regarding food, the visit a year ago was profoundly disappointing. That entree was described as pasta with a lobster tail. I expected to see a lobster tail but there were just a couple of very tiny pieces of supposed lobster tail that must have come from a just hatched lobster. Decided to come here for brunch during a recent girls trip to Naples. The space is decently sized and very cute. I didn't know that it was featured on diners, drive-ins, and dives so I was really excited about that! Our server was super awesome and very attentive. We got the mimosas to start and they had a good amount of different flavors to get and they were all really good! The food itself was really good too and very filling. We got the Ben-yays and they were delicious! It was my friends birthday too and our server came over and did a crazy singing performance for her and it was hilarious and she loved it. We also ordered the DBL-DBL Burger and it was amazing, best burger in SWF is a very bold claim, but the flavors were good. Meat was a bit dry, otherwise it would've been perfect. Upscale casual is how I would describe The 239 Naples. We got here when they opened at 11:30 and it filled up quickly! The REAL Lemonade is delicious Terri was still in breakfast mode and ordered The 239 Breakfast with eggs, toast, bacon, and brussel potatoes...the bacon and brussels potatoes were top notch and the toast was a step up from the ordinary as well. She didn't let me try the eggs but they must've been good! The Double Burger I ordered was reportedly voted the best in SouthWest Florida so that's why I went with it...I can't say it was the best Burger I've ever eaten but I can probably say its probably the healthiest Double Burger I've ever eaten...with the reputation of The 239 being a farm to table, organic, healthy option establishment I'd wager it was. It was very good and I'd definitely order it again. The Better Than Beignets were outta site! Stopped into 239 Naples and was immediately greeted by Estelle behind the bar--she was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. Her service alone added a lot to the experience. As for the food, it was just okay, especially considering the price point. The burger was a bit bland and didn't quite deliver the flavor you'd expect for what it costs. On the upside, the Brussels sprouts were the standout--great flavor and cooked well. I love the concept of this spot. They work with local vendors and a lot of gluten free options! Enjoyed lunch at The 239, which is located in The Mercado in Naples. Although there's lots of parking, there were very few spots. Decor is upscale but ambiance is quite casual & not pretentious at all. A bit of a club music feel- volume was a great lower level so no issues in competing w/the music to chat. Have a large bar. Mostly booth seating beyond that. They had the front door open (although AC on) & saw little modern table fans for some of the tables near the door. Imagine that's to keep any flies away w/the door open & love they thought of that detail. Interesting finishes & light fixtures inside. Menu is varied & they offer a $20 three course lunch special option as well, which is a pretty good deal since ur spending $20 on ur entree anyway. We ordered off the main menu- dbl burger w/fries & crab cakes. First of all, they do regular food here with a focus on healthier ingredients & no seed oils. LOVE this! 5/5 for committing to higher quality food & prep. If ur gluten free, they have a TON of options, including crab cakes. Yep- their crab cakes r gf so all u gf crab cake lovers, this is finally ur chance! Food was 4/5. They bring popcorn w/a parm cheese sprinkle out in a cast iron type mini pan while ur deciding, which was a nice offering. Fries (fried in tallow) were so good!!! Hubs liked the crab cakes a lot (I thought they were ok but definitely needed to b warmer). The remoulade, however, was wonderful & loved having a bit of arugula with it. The burger is supposed to b a signature dish. We thought it was just okay. Probably would try something different next time. As a gf person I brought my family here for Mother's Day and I would say this resturaunt is Great for gf people but not outstanding otherwise. The Server was nice but not attentive (restaurant was 70% empty), food took weirdly long to come out, the meatballs were delicious but everything else was sub par. Came here for the sizzle dining experience. It not only Met expectations, but exceeded it. We sat at the bar and our waitress. Bella was just amazing. The weather recently has been cooler. Last night was a little damp but my buddy and I went to 239 and sat at the outside bar so we could watch the football games. I had the warm vegetable bowl and he had a salad. His drink was $15 which seems to be the going rate in and around Naples (some are more, some are less) and it was served in a small glass. 239 uses local food sources and the weekend before I had the meatloaf which I would rate as 5*****. The warm bowl was good, I ate it all, but wish it had more veggies in it for the price ($20+). Restaurant prices throughout Naples have all gone up due to rising food prices and cost of service. 239 has friendly staff but could be just a little more attentive to their customers seated at the bar (it was not a busy night). A DJ played music outside and there was no one seated there at 9pm. The music was a mix and subject to one's taste but I found it a little loud and hip for me. We left to watch the 2nd half of the game somewhere else. All in all would recommend. Sometimes they have live music outside and in the past they had a young man on guitar and singing who was excellent. Give it a try. Try the meat loaf. Enjoy! read more

I met up with some friends at the outside Bar area on Sunday, July 14 at around 3:30PM (Can't remember the sweet bartender's name, but she was working at that date and time). She gave us absolutely great service; super sweet, super patient and kind. She made my first experience being there fun, and I had a great time with my friends. She recommended a delicious lychee martini drink with a beautiful orchid flower in it for my birthday drink. She was right, it was delicious.
