Birthday celebration time!
A H.

I'd like to give this place a second try soon. :) So why am I giving this restaurant 3 stars? I made reservations and put notes that we were celebrating my friend's birthday, and called in advance to make sure they knew, she was coming from Atlanta. Well although I must say we had a phenomenal time, they seated us next to the kitchen, might as well give us a table inside the kitchen and there were dirty glasses in our table, the small lamp made the dirty glasses even more visible. Then, I ordered rose and you can tell that even my glass wasn't well cleaned. That was just an instant let down, but tried not to focus on that. The service was great, our waitress was very patient and explained every dish to us. The food was also great, and again, we had a wonderful time, despite being seated next to the kitchen lol. It's very loud but that's okay, it's a party vibe when you're there and they gave us bottle sparklers (all of us). The place got lit after. That's why I'd like to give them a second try.

Excellent new find for our culinary adventures here in southwest Florida. The atmosphere is very inviting & keeping with the Mediterranean theme. Ordering the salmon Souvlaki surly is a must in my opinion. The salmon was moist & flavorful as was the fluffy well spiced rice it comes with. We are surly coming back!

The food was really good--yes, it's a high-end restaurant with prices that make you pause and re-read the menu, but it was totally worth it. Service was fantastic too. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and actually seemed happy to be there (rare these days). The ambiance was on point with bougainvillea scattered across the ceiling, giving it that "I should take pictures of this" vibe. When we went, it felt like everyone was celebrating their birthday... including me Apparently it was the night for it. They go all out for birthdays--each person gets what can only be described as a mini sparkler flame thrower. Subtle? No. Awesome? Absolutely. Important note: This is Naples. There are lots of older people. Also dress appropriately. The place also dies down as the night ages!

I had to upgrade to 5 stars due to our most recent dining experience. We came for my mother in law's birthday and Jovain was our waiter. His service was exceptional! We were a big group and it was an extremely busy night. From the moment we sat down his smile was contagious. He set the tone for a fun evening. We had the dips, calamari, meatballs and hummus for appetizers. For entrees, lamb gyro, filet slouvaki, salmon, and the flavors of everything was spot on. For dessert we had the donuts, baklava, chocolate cake and the pastry puff. Also had some incredible cocktails including the old fashioned and strawberry spritz. The DJ set the vibe and they have a small celebration with sparklers and napkins spinning around! It was quite the party but the best part of the evening was the service. Thank you Jovain!!! We will definitely be back.

Excellent Happy Hour bar area experience with Shaina (cheerful and attentive). We started w a Sauv Blanc and Old Fashioned for drink time. Following, we had a mix of items ranging from grilled meatballs, oysters, calamari, and pita w tzatziki, all of which were very good. The indoor/outdoor bar and patio area layout was perfect to enjoy the weather. Inside was also to capacity. Overall, Violi is a hit!

We tried the new restaurant in Mercato - Violi Naples. The new interior is beautiful. We thought that the food was just ok. For these prices not worth it. We will not be coming back.

FABULOUS happy hour spread! The food and drinks were delicious. Everything came out quickly. The music wasn't loud, made me think of what Ancient Greek house music might sound like, and the restaurant itself was beautiful. Andrew, our bartender, was very knowledgeable, kind, and made some pretty fantastic drinks. Definitely will be back soon!

This place just opened and I went here with friends for happy hour! I will say there were a lot of employees and the service was still getting figured out but the staff was nice and everyone jumped in. The space itself was very pretty and welcoming. It was busy but I love that they have indoor and outdoor seating. The happy hour was amazing, they have great options of food and and drinks. I was obsessed with the calamari and the hummus. For mains I had the deconstructed pastizio and it was different but delicious. My friends had the clam pasta and that was delicious too!

Four of us here last night for the first time. It was great to be sitting outside on the patio. First would like to say five stars for the service. Our server BRIAN H. was great. He was very professional and helpful to all with the menu. He was very personable and great talking with in between the many trips to the table as we kept ordering entrees on and off the Happy Hour menu our entire stay. Thanks again BRIAN. And appreciate the humor. We did laugh. Will see you again! We did order a lot off the menus. HAPPY HOUR MENU;: SPANAKOPITAKIA: spinach, feta, crispy phyllo- 2pcs. CRISPY ZUCCHINI & EGGPLANT:tzatziki, smoked paprika HUMMUS & CHARRED BEETS: warm pita, pomegranate, toasted pine nuts CRISPY CALAMARI: caper tartar sauce, lemon, smoked paprika GRILLED MEATBALLS: smoked yogurt, tomato, mint-2 pcs. (not the traditional Italian meatballs) THE REGULAR MENU: HORIATIKI SALAD: very generous vine-ripened tomatoes, cucumber, barrel aged feta, red onion, fresh oregano, capers, (delicious feta cheese throughout but would like to have seen more lettuce) CAST IRON MOUSSAKA: beef ragu, grilled eggplant, potato, béchamel They transformed the restaurant inside with beautiful overhead flowers and nice rearrangements on tables and booths. Reasonable prices on all menus.

Was able to try the newest addition to Mercato Violi(formerly Bravo) and was not disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful. We were a party of 5 seated immediately at 5:30 in a nice u-shaped booth. Our server was Tassos who was excellent. Very nice drink selection. We tried a variety of menu items including Saganaki ,Meatballs, Grilled Octopus, Shrimp with Feta, Spanakopita and Shredded Cheese Fries all that I would definitely order again. Our main dishes were Lamb Chops, Lamb Shank, Moussaka, Lamb Kabobs and Cheeseburger. All done perfectly with excellent flavors and perfectly portioned. Dessert was a delicious puffed pastry with with cinnamon and ice cream amazing and a beignet type pastry with several toppings...wonderful. The owner Luke came by and introduced himself to us which was very nice and we wished him much success in his new venture. Very happy with Mercatos new addition

Violi is a much needed addition to the Naples dining scene. It's a foodie's paradise in a sea of so-so restaurants. Our party of 4 was lucky enough to get a reservation on opening night. We were seated at what I consider the best table in the restaurant... the "J booth" which is a comfortable J shaped booth in the corner of the bar, where you can see all the goings-on in both the bar and the main dining room. Whoever designed this booth is a genius! The atmosphere is beautiful and classy, with pink flowers covering the ceiling and a mix of tables and booths in the main dining area, and a large rectangular bar and some high top tables in the lounge area. There is a happy hour from 3-6pm, and given we could only get a 5:15 resv we were able to partake in it. From the HH menu we tried the old fashioned and the vodka martini. Both were good but if you want to make any tweaks to the cocktails be aware that some are pre-batched so it's not possible to make changes. From the HH food menu we had: - Saganakj which was set aflame table side and was tangy and tasty 4* - Charred eggplant dip aka baba ganoush which was smoky and smooth, served with a thick pita bread and veggie crudite 5* - Spanakopita was some of the best I've had, flaky filo on the outside and perfectly seasoned spinach/feta filling 5* - Fried zucchini and eggplant which was thinly sliced and not too oily 4* For main courses from the regular dinner menu we had the lamb chops which were perfectly cooked and tender, and the linguini and clams - both 5*. Our server Wila was professional and polished, and her friendly personality and excellent service made our experience even better. Service execution and food quality was flawless, especially given it was opening night. The owner/manager stopped by to introduce himself and check on our table, which was a nice gesture that shows they care about their customers. We will definitely be back often. Highly recommend!

Finally, my 30 plus member cigar club, from the Venice FL area decided to make a road trip to Naples, specifically to visit The Burn. Twelve of us made a caravan and left Venice, driving to Naples. We arrived and had no trouble finding nearby parking for all of our vehicles. After parking we entered the lounge finding it to be quite large, with a nice bar, humidor and an outside patio too. We entered the humidor and found a staffer who offered suggestions, cut our cigars and even offered to light them for us. We paid him right there and stuffed his tip jar - that was awesome service. We then gathered in the main room of the lounge and began our cigar tasting while enjoying a few Old Fashion whiskey drinks. Then six of us wandered out to the patio and grabbed a nice large table. The bartenders were fast and service was okay. The servers were awesome, prompt and very attentive to our tables - efficient is a great description. We stayed until about 6 PM and then headed home. It was a very enjoyable adventure. I understand Rocky actually has a birthday there on March 10, 2026. Hopefully I can attend.

I will start off with the pro's of our visit. The food was on point. We all loved the food and dined on chicken Milanese, short ribs, pork chops, steak and pasta. Every person in our party agreed the food was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef! We chose to dine outside. The weather was perfect and the ambiance was very nice as well. It was a very nice environment. There was only one con and to us this is a big one. If this was not a con I would have given 5 stars. The waiter, Ted. He was quick to greet us when we arrived and we appreciated that. He went to take our drink order and the whole table noticed the attitude. Right away he had an air to him that made us all feel like he was annoyed by us being there. We ordered drinks and someone wanted to add a diet coke to the order and he made the comment, "Before i go back is there anything else you want?" That comment could be said nicely but it was said in a snarky tone that made us feel even more that we were annoying him. When I went to order chicken Milanese I asked him to explain it a little more, I was just looking for something like if you like chicken marsala this would be similiar, or whatever would have been appropriate. Instead, Ted told me that it was in the description and literally read it to me. I was insulted and very much annoyed at this point. After I ordered my chicken Milanese I decided to add the fingerling potatoes and he somewhat rolled his eyes at the addition. There were a few more snafoos along the way but those could have been forgiven if the waiter was nice, somewhat talkative and had a personality. At the very end of the night someone asked for a box. He took their food and boxed it. There were several of us with quite a bit of food on our plates still. Instead of saying who here will need a box he just acted like no one else wanted their food boxed. I had more than half of my food left. He said who else needs their food boxed but didn't look around the table, just took the next plate that said they want theirs boxed. I tried to say I wanted mine but he walked away. When he came back I said I would like mine boxed as well. He said in an extremely annoyed tone, "Anything else I can do for you while I'm in the back?" At this point I would not hold my tongue any longer. You don't go to a very nice expensive restaurant to be treated that way. I said, "Do we annoy you? You have been giving us an attitude all night. I don't appreciate the way you have made us feel. If you don't like people then this kind of job isn't the best for you." He then tried to backtrack. He said oh no, I just asked who needed their meals boxed and I kept having to go back and forth. I said I tried to tell you but you didn't give me the opportunity. He asked if I wanted to see the manager and I told him no but was obviously not happy. So the final straw was our check. He didn't ask if we are all on one or how it would be handled. He just brought out the check and put it on the table. Someone in our party said can this be split. He said yes it can be and asked who was together so he could split it. He was gone for 10 minutes and returned with the check not even close to being right. So when he came back we ran back through who is together again and what each person got. He disappeared for another 15 minutes. Then the female manager stopped over and told us that there are some problems with the check that they are having a hard time figuring it out. So she asked once again who was together. We went through the check once again. She said give me a minute and I will quickly get your checks to you. After about 10 more minutes she came back to the table. Some checks were right and some still wrong but they paid it anyways. The manager kept apologizing profusely but didn't offer us anything. Not even as gesture of good will to get us to come back. In fact, she was trying to place an extra basket of $14 french fries on someone's bill and no one ordered them. Instead of just wiping them out she spent time on it. This night could have gone completely different if the service was different. If the waiter had a better personality, the night would have been light hearted and many things could have been forgiven. I don't go out and spend $200 on dinner for two people to feel like I'm annoying the restaurant when I have basic requests. We loved Mercato and will definitely visit again but next time we will choose a different restaurant.

My first evening up at Tigress's rooftop, I walked into a packed house with no reservation, and it was simply too much. Rather than give up, I called the restaurant shortly before close and asked about reserving a table for the following night. Just one person. What happened next genuinely surprised me. They were absolutely fabulous. Not only did they accommodate me without hesitation, they reserved me a spot in the bar area and had it ready the moment I arrived. The second I stepped off that elevator, I was greeted by name, welcomed warmly, and made to feel like I belonged there. It wasn't a restaurant experience -- it was a Cheers experience. You know the show. That's exactly what it felt like. Service was prompt and attentive from the start. My drink order was taken and delivered quickly, and when I asked for a menu recommendation, the staff guided me toward their signature crab fried rice -- and I am so glad they did. This dish is unlike anything I've had at any Thai restaurant, and I've had crab fried rice at quite a few. The blend of ingredients Tigress uses is truly special. Every element comes together in a way that feels almost magical. Worth every single penny. I've seen a few complaints about pricing, but when you consider the quality of ingredients that must go into this dish and the skill required to execute it -- the price is more than fair. Sincere applause to the entire staff for their grace and kindness. A standing ovation to the chef on duty that evening, and deep gratitude to the executive chef who curated this menu. And special recognition to the bar team -- their craft cocktails are clearly designed to complement the food beautifully. I will absolutely be back. Tigress has earned a loyal guest.

Our server was very nice and conversational, however, I think she might have a habit for forgetting to do something unless she does it right away. Before finishing explaining the sauces with the shrimp crudite, we asked a question and she immediately went to go grab another dip and didn't finish explaining the sauces. I was disappointed in the bananas foster waffles. it said there was banana caramel, and then as a separate item, it said peanut butter maple. I asked probably 2 or 3 different times where the peanut butter maple was as i had gotten my toppings on the side after seeing an order that was drenched go past my table. the first answer i received was that it was the sauce i had in front of me. it was not. it was the caramel. the next time i asked, i was told that the peanut butter and caramel are the same sauce. again, no peanut butter flavor in the sauce. the peanut butter was the thing i was looking forward to the most on the waffle, and by the time she offered to just bring me peanut butter i was almost done with it. i will say that it is a very dense waffle and difficult to cut. i'm not sure if it is supposed to be this way, but i had to use some force to cut into what i thought was going to be a fluffy waffle. we had empty water glasses on our table for quite some time with multiple people passing before being refilled. it wasn't until more people cleared out that we were able to get more water. the cinnamon roll thing: a very nice gesture from the restaurant for birthdays. the cinnamon toast crunch on the outside was nice and crunchy, the caramel gelato between layers was smooth, but the roll itself is a different story. like the waffle, it was dense. not sure if that's because it's served cold but we will chalk it up to that, but the cream cheese frosting has chili and paprika in it! so while we were eating it, all of our throats starting to have a spicy burny feeling in the back. imagine red hots candy for flavor profile. we didn't find out until asking that it has the extra spice in it. just something to note, it might need to be added to server explanation that there is the added spicy element, as there are a lot of people who do not enjoy spicy foods. I stand by my previous reviews that Tigress is strictly a drinks and app place.
