I have wanted to visit The Burn by Rocky Patel for a long time now. I have lived in Florida just about 6 years. Finally, my 30 plus member cigar club, from the Venice FL area decided to make a road trip to Naples, specifically to visit The Burn. Twelve of us made a caravan and left Venice, driving to Naples. We arrived and had no trouble finding nearby parking for all of our vehicles. After parking we entered the lounge finding it to be quite large, with a nice bar, humidor and an outside patio too. We entered the humidor and found a staffer who offered suggestions, cut our cigars and even offered to light them for us. We paid him right there and stuffed his tip jar - that was awesome service. We then gathered in the main room of the lounge and began our cigar tasting while enjoying a few Old Fashion whiskey drinks. Then six of us wandered out to the patio and grabbed a nice large table. The bartenders were fast and service was okay. The servers were awesome, prompt and very attentive to our tables - efficient is a great description. We stayed until about 6 PM and then headed home. It was a very enjoyable adventure. I understand Rocky actually has a birthday there on March 10, 2026. Hopefully I can attend. read more

What happened today at Burn in Naples deserves to be called out. My friend and I picked up our cigars from the cigar shop and headed to the bar to enjoy a drink while we waited for some friends. I'm not a heavy smoker--I only got through about a quarter of my cigar and rested it on the ashtray in front of me. A little while later, my friend turns to me and says, "Hey, he just threw away your cigar." We spoke up immediately, and the guy (barback or bartender--still unclear) turned to our actual bartender and said, "There was nothing there," basically calling us liars. We told him directly that he threw away my cigar, and instead of owning it, he just turned his back and walked off. It was our bartender who stepped in and tried to make it right--but honestly, it wasn't his job to speak for someone else's mistake. And as much as he tried, his tone came off as forceful and almost confrontational. Not exactly how you diffuse a situation. We all make mistakes. But how you handle them matters. The first words out of anyone's mouth should have been: "I'm sorry." This is the kind of experience that loses customers. And in a town like Naples, where word of mouth travels fast, that matters more than you think. Oh--and if you're wondering who it was, it's the guy in the picture. read more

This place has been on my list for a really long time as it is always on top 5 cigar lounges in the country. It just lives on the lists. I finally had a work trip down to Marco Island and just so happened to be during the week of CFB Championship. Perfect place to watch the game with cigars. The staff is great and very quick to serve as they also were able to get the game sound on for the game which is always a plus. Its a championship game, better get that on, cmon now. They dont serve food but they make great drinks and have a pretty good menu for them. Atmosphere is great and the location is easy to get to as it is in a shopping/dining plaza so it's usually busy. Worth going to and yes, it belongs on the top 10 list for sure! read more

Great vibe and beautiful place to hang out and enjoy a cigar and drink with friends. The place was packed and thank goodness we had made reservations. Unfortunately, you couldn't order cigars off a menu with your drinks where a waiter/waitress made recommendations table side like the cigar spots in NYC. Instead you have to make that purchase separately in a packed humidor. Weirdly enough you paid in the humidor and they cut and lit the cigar there too. As a result, there where tons of dudes milling about smoking their cigars in the humidor which made browsing the shelves and getting to the register difficult! Love this location. Didn't know it was there at Vanderbilt Mercato Mall. It was afternoon after a good lunch went in and saw a beautiful location with a great humidor . The decor is amazing so is the lighting. Covid measures were taking and plenty of distancing. Service impeccable and courteous. Prices on drinks and cigars very reasonable and took advantage of their happy hour with 20% of certain cigars. Sat in the coolest table and lounge chairs. This is by far the best cigar lounge I have been to. Happy hour is from 2-8 daily and on Fri/Sat from 2-9 with 50% off drinks and 20% off cigars. We just missed the happy hour on Friday night. The place looks amazing with an Indian-Moroccan inspired theme, a huge marble looking bar that is lit from within, plenty of cool looking chairs and leather sofas to lounge around in. The ambiance is just fantastic. Located in the Mercato mall it is wedged between the Blue Martini lounge and Cavo Lounge. I was actually surprised at the amount of young people here as I was in Naples all day and all I saw were old white people everywhere. The place is LOUD, at least at night, with a great DJ. He was spinning some awesome beats I felt like was clubbing in ibiza. The walk in humidor is in the back half the stock was of course Rocky Patel stuff and the other half was the usual high end stogies like Padron, Partagas, Fuentes and the rest, they even had some Opus X (prices were way jacked up for these). The prices for the non Rocky's were a little higher than average but the Patel stuff was well priced and I picked up a few sticks. There is also a cigar "sommelier" in there who was super helpful finding the right cigar for you. My wife, who does not like any tobacco product, even got into the action and got a little espresso flavored cigarillo to puff. The bartenders were fantastic, the drink servers were prompt and they even had Secret service looking security guards walking around who were also very nice. I guess it can get rowdy with all the surrounding bars and drunk old white people starting fights? They also provide VIP bottle service as well. Rocky lives in Naples and frequents the place but apparently he was out on his yacht all day today so he was too tired to stop in. Also be aware that the bathroom has an attendant so bring some singles with you, you should also tip the cigar sommelier as well. If you are even a casual cigar smoker and you are in Naples, you must check this place out. I will certainly be back next time I'm in the area. read more

But my only complaint is that I'm always charged 10 bucks to get in, even though I always spend $150-200 there every weekend night. It doesn't have anything to do with the 10 bucks. Good place for a date or just hanging out with friends. Classy, big, lots of comfy seating, including outdoor. Not the usual boys club like many lounges, mix of easily identified gender (not like South beach, where I cannot tell what species they are) and not everyone smokes, most go to the bar. Just watch your pocketbook, asked for water and they charged me $4 that was in a regular glass with ice, later in the bill said it was bottle water. Server should have either given me the bottle or tell me there was a charge. Didn't complain, after all this is Mercato, so I couldn't act like a cheapo, even tho I am. Live quality music, if you sit outside you will be hearing music from Blue Martini next door, so be prepared. Rocky Patel owns this place and is usually here but today was in Cali. VIOLENT, EVIL BOUNCERS. I can't even begin to describe what an absolute nightmare my experience was at BURN New Years Eve. As a young, responsible couple celebrating from out of town, this establishment and it's "security" personnel, has overexerted its power as front of house security in a manner I can't even believe had to occur. As customers who were guests at a prepaid EVENT, my boyfriend and I had higher expectations than how we were treated. This establishment has done the complete opposite in making us feel safe, comfortable, and satisfied in our experience. I have been all over the world and this goes to an extreme far beyond simply "rude and nasty" bouncers you role your eyes at and carry on with your night having a good time. I am almost at a loss of words with how these employees conducted such aggression. I have never witnessed such immediate violent and corrupt behavior from bouncers, especially towards customers who paid tickets to a NYE even at a lower scale "lounge" establishment in a smaller city. This isn't even LIV in Miami! My boyfriend tried to leave BURN with a glass of WATER in his hand, so the bouncers at BURN decided it was necessary to physically assault my boyfriend to the point where they decided to call over the police who were eager to respond by brutalizing him and using excess force to the point where he can barely walk, has a broken nose, and a beat up face that he can't even feel for the rest of our vacation. Let me remind, bouncers have no right to physically ASSAULT someone to the degree they did, or if the police are involved, play that role in their involvement! My heart is broken that people can do this... or want to over something minuscule when it comes to a bigger picture. I tried to speak to management today because they also took his hat at the door, which is somehow nowhere to be found. I hope nobody gives this place business. If you want to be treated like shit and beat up then expect that here at BURN. Otherwise, this is a really interesting place aesthetic wise. Bartenders were attentive, cigars were great, but cold-hearted individuals handling initial interactions at the door disregards any positives about this place. Out of privacy I won't post the entirety of the photos, but it's much worse. My boyfriend has to spend the rest of our vacation with his face like this and a broken nose. My husband loves cigars so we decided to visit when in Naples for the holidays. He picked out Burn to go with some family. Since it wasn't too busy, the waitress offered to seat us in VIP which was a couple couches and chairs off to the side of the bar area for a more private spot. Pretty cool. The drinks are pretty pricey but are good. We had 5 martinis and one bottle of wine and it was almost $350. My husband said they had a good selection of cigars and he enjoyed the cigars so much he bought extra for our vacation. We will visit again when we come back to the area. read more
