AMAZING VIEW!!! This is a cute, small, bar/restaurant. There is plenty of shade with numerous tables overlooking the water. I went with my sister and we both got the Shrimp Tacos with a side of Sweet Potatoes. The potatoes were cooked well, and the tacos were plentiful. Like other restaurants, you get 3 tacos. Each taco had two jumbo shrimps on them. They were STUFFED with the ingredient mixture. They were a little messy to eat but yummy. I was hungry so I forgot to take photos of our tacos... sorry. Service was excellent at our luncheon. Everyone was very attentive and accommodating. I tried the seafood soup and it was red and not white as I had expected. I was concerned but it was really delicious and I would order it again. The fish tacos were also excellent with huge pieces of fish and crunchy cabbage. They can get messy so I recommend extra napkins. The view outside looking over the water was amazing and we had a great time. Parking available through the hotel, outside the stairs to the outdoor dining area, and parallel parking on the street. Have been a regular for about 2 years now. Was our favorite spot in town, but this month they changed their menus. What used to be a great rum drink is now watered down. And no rubber ducky (sad). The bayfront burger was our fav burger in town, is now a frozen patty ( bubba burger). Fish and chips are still good. Views of the bay are nice. We had a ball at Bambu Sunday night Feb 23rd 2025! The place was crowded with revelers enjoying Carmen's musical show. The manager, Jamie, warned us upon our arrival that despite some tables appearing empty, she was unable to immediately seat us due to employee call-outs. We understood that as that is happening seemingly everywhere. We were able to saddle up to the bar and order drinks for a 10 minute wait to get a nice view table. We could see that the 2 on-duty servers were hustling and enjoyed the music for another 15 minutes before our food order was taken. Again the tunes were great, so the wait was not a problem. Our food arrived a reasonable 10 minutes or so later. The seafood chowder was terrific, as was my Caesar salad. The burger was cooked to perfection. A great time was had by all of our party. Attractive views of the Naples, Florida waterfront is all I can say in a positive way about this place. We waited at the hostess stand, no one came. Finally the bartender waived us to the table of our choice. Our waiter, might be named Dean, should not be in this occupation. He greets us without menus. Later he returns with the menus. We immediately ordered drinks. My guest ordered the chicken nachos. I ordered the bbq wings. Our drinks arrived but Dean failed to bring a glass of ice as requested. I was able to get the young man server to bring ice. The nachos arrived, generous portion, tasty chicken, nacho cheese sauce was tasteless. No wings arrived. Finally Dean reappeared, I mentioned to him that the wings never arrived. Clearly he'd failed to put in the order. My guest was done eating when the wings arrived. Finally, something tasted good. I would never ever recommend this place. The server was tipped as well as Dean, but I suggest you never go to this restaurant. read more

I went there just for the tacos. They have three options, three tacos, all the same price. I thought...perfect, I'll have one of each. I show up to the near empty restaurant and sit at the bar. When I order the nice bartender tells me I can't have one of each...I can have my choice of tortillas but all three tacos must be the same. She said she knows it makes no sense. We have been patrons here for many years. Recently, we made the stop and it was immediately apparent that it isn't the same place it was (new management)? We did not recognize anyone working there currently. We had a party of 7, initially got a table and wanted to split checks. Told they couldn't do that (later found out that isn't the case) No biggie, we moved to the bar. The hostess Raquel (?) made a statement to one of the women in our party that "modern people" just use Zell or some cash app work out a tables check. The way it was presented was inappropriate and insulting for someone in the customer service industry. Especially the "Host" I brought this to her attention and was immediately met with an attitude to include a statement that "I'm an American" and can say whatever I want. I wanted to think she was kidding but wasn't. I replied that I was as well but was also a customer trying to bring something to her attention. The hostess then followed me back to the bar where we were all no sitting to say "I'm a lady and you need to address me with class" WTF. I attempted to explain that as customers we were disappointed that she was disrespectful. I attempted to end it by telling her to go back to her host station. She replied "are you going to hit me" WTF again. I asked for the manager (Jamie) came out and said she would review the cameras to see how much of a talk she needed to have with the host. She told me 10-15 minutes she would need to do that. The bar got busy Jamie was now waiting tables. I inquired about the cameras about 45 min later and was told "I'm wearing an apron" I asked if I could give her info for a follow up and she advised me to leave it at the bar in a dismissive tone. Several minutes later I approached her and told her not to bother further, I would take it up with Erin (GM) as I felt she was blowing it off. Jamie then became rude and said she would go get Erin. Erin was helpful and apologetic. I explained what had occurred and that Raquel was the problem. Jamie was clearly overwhelmed and I understood that. Erin said he would look into and address it and offered to buy a round for us. Meanwhile 2 separate tables, one gentleman was waiting on himself for drinks and another wanted to pay their bill and apparently their waitress had clocked out and just left (??) Bottom line Raquel (??) had no business in a customer service industry. She should be terminated for her rude responses and arrogant demeanor. We have never had anything but great evenings at Bambu for many years until this "event" It is apparent they are understaffed and overwhelmed. Having run a business and been a manager of people myself, this kind of service will sink the ship. I do hope they can figure it out as we have always loved Bambu and its been one of our go to places for many years. This was all very disappointing on several levels. read more

This place is awesome! The bartenders are amazing. They were so attentive and friendly! We brought our two mini aussies and one of them started to get scared when the thunderstorms started so the bartender made some "pup cups" and brought them over for the dogs to calm them down. We met out-of-town friends for lunch on a beautiful sunny Thursday afternoon. All seating is outside and when we arrived, it was 'seat yourself', so we picked a high-top table with a view of the boats and water. The place was busy but not crowded, the noise level was perfect for conversation (except the occasional plane taking-off). Food was good for the money and location; our server was great. Kelly was attentive and on point bringing drinks immediately so I could enjoy my Pinot Grigio in the balmy night air overlooking the bay while waiting for our food. Generous pour of wine served in an individual carafe. The southwestern bowl was generous portion, chocked full of goodness and plenty of added blackened chicken. Kelly was also great in recommending to get the cheese quesadilla and add grilled chicken vs. removing the peppers and onions from the regular chicken quesadilla. We walked in and walked out. We were briefly acknowledged, given menus, and never approached again. We made eye contact and waved to the bar tender and 3 other servers. There were only 2 other tables sat. My wife went to use the bathroom and told the waitress we were ready to order. Still no acknowledgement and no approach. No water. Zip. I guess it must be nice in the time of Covid to be open and not need revenue. Good on the owner.
