By far one of our favorite restaurants. We love being able to sit by the water and not have to break the bank doing it. Highly recommend.

The Village Pub is located right on the water with an amazing patio to enjoy. I visited during the week and our 30 minute wait was actually only 12 minutes! We chose first available and were still able to be sat outside to enjoy the views. They're known for their tableside pickles which were absolutely amazing! I thought their specialty pickle drinks menu was a cute play into this too. For dinner, my aunt and I got the Chicken & Chips which came with four tenders and a decent portion of fries. The fries were half floppy and half crispy. We asked for bbq & ranch sauce but both of our entrees came out with honey mustard. The staff member was quick to bring out the corrected sauces though. My husband got the Catch and Artichoke & Hearts of Palm Salad. The catch of the day was a chilean sea bass and he loved this dish! While the food was good quality, service was sadly lacking. There should have been two hostesses to seat people and take reservations quicker. The host also did not have an ounce of happiness to give guests. Wait staff was hustling but our table was left without water and being checked in on at times. It seems like the bar and kitchen are quite far from the patio which makes it difficult for staff to keep up. Overall, this is a great spot to enjoy good conversation over some great views. Just expect a little but of slower service when visiting. read more

Well, service was somewhat gruff and slow even at the bar the food made up for it. The place has nice atmosphere and obviously most of the seating is outdoors. I had the tuna poke nacho, and it was actually quite delicious. The wonton chips were fresh and we're not greasy or sale. There was a generous portion of tuna. The only downside was the chili oil made it quite spicy and overpowered the tuna a bit. I'm glad I did get the wasabi sauce on the side as it would've definitely overpowered the entire dish. read more

The Seafood Trio and the Fisherman's Platter were wonderful and the ambiance is always great on the water. Our nachos filled us up and we actually took both entree's home and had them later. We often go and will continue to. Our service was great as well. read more

The location of the place is very nice and right on the water. Wife and I did dinner on the water at night and you could see the fish below. Menu - Nice size menu with a lot of Options. Mostly conventional American food with a few twists Food - Good and good size portions Queso - Excellent Boom Boom Chicken Sandwich - big and tasted great. Walnut chicken Salad - Good size and tasted good. Red Beans & Rice - Pass wasn't very good. Service - Waiter was okay. We actually got more help from a different server which was nice. Loved this place I got wings. It's hard to find good wing sometimes. These were great! The prices were fair. You get 10 wings where other restaurants you can only get 6 in 1 order. We've been to the Village Pub several times over the years, and we have always enjoyed sitting outside on the deck, feeding the fish, and enjoying the pickles at the table. In the past, we always had great, attentive service with the servers bringing crackers for the kids to throw to the fish and great food. This visit was lackluster in comparison. It was busy, as always, so it was understandable that we had a long wait and that we had to ask for the kids' menu and for the pickles that are part of their setup to be brought to the table. Our server was inattentive, but he kindly switched our table so we could be under the working heat lamp (the one over our table was broken) and went searching for a jar of pickles for us when we asked. Our party of four ordered the chicken strips, the coconut strips, the kids' fish and chips, and the crab cakes. The fries were great. The fried fish was perfect: crispy batter, flaky fish, piping hot. The chicken, per my dining companion, was institutional. I had the crab cakes, and my entire platter was cold. Not just timing-was-off-and-my-plate-was-left-cooling cold but undercooked cold. The bowl of red beans and rice was cold (and otherwise unimpressive and under seasoned), the institutional veggie blend of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots was cold and undercooked, and the crab cakes, while they had a bit of a sear, were genuinely raw in the center--just uncooked. The highlight of the evening was a dolphin chuffing right by us, which was delightful that it came up for air right there by a light and made itself known so that we could see it. read more

Definitely the BEST grouper we've ever had-anywhere!!!!!! Huge portions, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Lovely restaurant, inside and out, friendly and professional staff, and the GM, Mandy was second to none. We visited Naples for only 48 hours and ate at The Pub twice. Wish our stay was longer because we would eat there a third time. We will definitely, make it our go to restaurant each time we visit Naples! read more

Had an early dinner a couple days ago. I've been to this restaurant several times in the past and always had good food and service. However, after this visit I've taken this restaurant off my list of go to places. I ordered a draft beer and was told they were having trouble with the tap so no draft beer was available... until my bottle was delivered. The tap was then flowing and the draft beers served. But I wasn't even asked if I wanted a draft beer. For dinner I nearly always order a fish basket; sometimes grouper sometimes original. It is usually very good. This time however the grouper (2 out of 3 pieces) was old and under cooked. Awful. Nothing as bad as old fish. My wife had the fish tacos; they were OK. I actually really like this place. It's got a little outside dining area. The food is consistent and good. It's a great stop on a bike ride during the day, but also a yummy stop in the evening. Fresh foods. The soup of the day option is usually tasty. The salads are yummy. And they have live music here and there, with a hint of Irish/Scottish/British pirate type songs in the mix. Servers are friendly. It's a great spot.... One to always have in the pocket when you aren't sure how to please everyone. Oh! Went over for a quick bite based on a recommendation from a local. The place is located in the middle of a little shopping mall and it's got seating right by the water. We were seated promptly, it wasn't too busy. Their menu looks pretty much like what you'd expect from the many other restaurants in the area, the Florida version of tacos, fries, fried fish, etc. Our waitress was as patient as she was friendly... not very much. They have pickle jars out on every table; no snap to them, but they are free. Many of the items on their menu do not come with any sides, ie, a $18.50 sandwich would be served on its own, no fries or anything. I felt their food was average at best... except for their crab cakes... have definitely had better crab cakes... even in NYC. read more

It was a beautiful day out so we sat outside on the boardwalk. Watched boats go by , I had fish and chips and a lentil soup it was really good and my partner got the same with a cup of their clam chowder. Love how they have jars of pickles on their tables. A great spot to end my visit with my parents. We love coming here my mom loves that Forest pie! I tried the Chunky Chocolate Walnut Brownie this time... We had a big lunch so my parents just had their incredible clam chowder soup, my dad added the half Ruben sandwich. He didn't like the Ruben. But they loved the soup. Waterfront view prices and service amazing. My very first visit to the Pub and I was impressed with the place. I don't know how it will go in season, but we walked and scored a table immediately. Our server was right there and took our drink order and we looked over the menu. For a small menu there is multiple choices. The catch of the day can be had as a main entre or a sandwich which ever your choice the option to cook it the way you want it is available. I chose blackened sandwich with slaw and fries. $15.00!! Pro tip if you like pickles served free this is your place. They put a jar of dill pickles with tongs and paper plates so you can nibble while you look over the menu. read more

I hadn't been to the Village Pub in years, but I'm glad we decided to walk over to Venetian Village and grab lunch there after getting off of our flight. We were able to be sat immediately outside in the shade and right on the water. They have a menu with a decent amount of variety, so I had a hard time choosing. I went with an easy choice in the chicken tenders and they were really good quality! We also got the Boom Boom Chicken Sandwich, which was buffalo chicken and super tasty. A great place for lunch! 4 of us arrived on a Saturday around noon and at that point all the outdoor seating was taken. We sat inside, it was a bit chilly with the AC. Service was prompt and our server was friendly. The apple walnut salad was fresh, crispy with plenty of ingredients and the dressing was flavorful. The sliced chicken was cooked perfectly. We love the Village Pub! We always make a point to eat a lunch here when we are in Naples - we've been coming for years. The servers are friendly and efficient, the food is good and the view of Venetian Bay from the dockside tables is lovely! Our party of 3 on Friday afternoon only had to wait about 10 minutes before we were led to our table outside right at the dock. We had an excellent view and were in the shade on a warm sunny day. We enjoyed a giant pickle while we waited for our orders to arrive (I don't know why, but I guess pickles are a thing here). We started with the fish dip/spread appetizer, served with crackers. Hubby thought it was fantastic, I thought it was ok. For our meals, I had the Caesar salad with grilled salmon (delicious!), hubby had the fried fish sandwich ("very very good") and daughter had the fish and chips (ate it all so I'm assuming it was good!). As you would expect the menu is slightly tilted to the seafood side but there are plenty of options for hamburger and pulled pork to go along with the fish tacos. Something for everyone including their selection of beer. Be prepared to wait especially for the in demand water view tables. The food was excellent from the fresh pickles to the pub appetizers (Coconut Shrimp, Calamari, and Artichoke & Heart of Palm Salad) and entrees including the special red fish, apple & walnut salad, chicken salad in a pineapple boat, and a blackened fish wrap.
