Fairly traditional Italian sandwich shop, with a tad of Italian-American influence, on a quiet block in Cobble Hill. As the name itself suggests, the rich and epically-stretchy mozzarella made in house is the star of the show here - one of the best in the city, and better than the ones I had on Arthur Avenue. We shared the eggplant Parmesan and the pugliese (broccoli rabe and ricotta) sandwiches. I found the eggplant cutlet a bit too oily for my taste, but nonetheless every other ingredient here is a supporting actor next to the namesake.

Great service. Amazing food, high quality ingredients. Not the best place to sit and eat but they have seating there and outside. Quiet street

I was craving a very specific sandwich and I wasn't looking to settle for less! I got the Crudo Cold Panino and it was exactly what I was looking for! I got take out but I would love to come back and check out the place in person. I also appreciated that they added pesto to my sandwich since I ordered on DoorDash and most places seem to ignore requests.

This place. WOW. This is the closest I've ever gotten to a sandwich that you could get in Italy itself, and I've tried a lot. Would absolutely recommend MozzLab, they had quick service and a couple tables (though it's definitely a grab and go vibe). I loved the fun Italian snacks and treats you could buy too. Great friendly staff. Will definitely be back ten more times! Get the mortadella sandwich!

Top-tier sandwiches with massive portions and friendly staff. A must-go for anyone looking for a delicious lunch. Seating available inside and outside.

Tuna Hot Panino. Stracciatella, tuna, oregano, arugula. Outstanding

I stopped by this new wonderful place around a week ago having noticed it on one of my walks. On Yelp at that point, they were listed as closed on Mondays but I decided to go over and they were indeed open. They have a nice selection of Italian goods from fresh homemade cheeses and pastas to drinks and snacks and everything else and it reminds me a bit overall of Tavola though I think the prices here are overall cheaper. I was originally thinking of ordering the swordfish panini/panino but they didn't have the ingredients and they recommended the tuna panino. I'm usually not a fan of Italian style tuna but this one was a little bit different containing stracciatella, tuna, oregano, and arugula so I decided to go with it. As I was waiting, the friendly man was giving a sample of some cheeses to some other people there and I first had a taste of their fior di latte, specifically the al pesto, which was delicious. They were also giving a sample of their fresh mozzarella which was probably the best mozzarella I've ever had. Perfect texture and I will definitely be going back just to get some of this to make my own sandwiches. Staff was very ncie in short. The sandwich was excellent packed full of said ingredients and well worth it for the price. I personally had it for both lunch and dinner and while it's not as big as some of the other spots (being more similar to Tavola but a bit larger,) the flavors were far better. Very good spot. Will go back a lot.

HIDDEN GEM!!! Found mini Italy. Sandwich was to die for! Freshest imports. Mortadella sandwich was like All'Antico but 100x better! The guy, Matteo, was making fresh burrata next to us (Assuming he's the owner). Nicest guy! Make sure to mention me and he'll give you free stuff. An absolute amazing find!! "Fuckin- delicious" -GR

Incredible place, it is like going to Italy without leaving USA. Small place, they have just tree small seating inside. It is run by the owner, you can hear people speaking italian, my husband was super surprised with the taste of everything, his eyes went wet trying the eggplant because it tasted just lime his nona.

Are you a fan of mozzarella or panini's? This corner location has you covered for a very authentic experience. The staff was absolutely amazing, fun of energy and helpful with menu selections. The drink selection matches the food. There is seating along with bar tables outside. Finish up and head across the street for an ice cream desert!
