The owner has the typical New Yorker vibe--blunt and a fun character overall. We went with the chicken cutlet with prosciutto, artichoke, fontina, and herb sauce, along with the sausage with cheese and added broccoli rabe. Between the two, I'd get the chicken for sure. It was pretty tasty, but I must say I wasn't as blown away as I'd expected. The sausage sandwich got a bit soggy from all of the marinara (which I wasn't expecting based on the description), so I was less excited about it. It was way too much food for two people. Like one sandwich is plenty for two, but I got greedy with wanting to try too much. We had a ton leftover! I would have probably rated it 3.5 stars, but the German roach running around pained me to see and stole my appetite. I actually discovered a new NYS fave in Aurora, and rediscovered an old favorite brewery To Øl with their Birra Misu dessert stout. They also have beer (and kombucha) on tap and fill crowlers.
