I would really like to rate them better, but their return policy is not very good. It's not posted anywhere in the store or on the receipt, but if you buy something and then need to return it, they will charge you a return fee. I purchased a Stihl electric trimmer for $119, but I ended up not liking it because I was having to tap it on the ground about every two feet to advance the line. They ended up keeping $20 of the purchase price, or essentially a 16% restocking fee because they could no longer sell as new. I would really like to support the local businesses instead of the big box stores. But be aware that you have to be VERY CERTAIN that whatever you buy is what you want; otherwise, if you try to take it back for any other reason than if it's broken, you won't get your entire purchase price back. read more

I stopped in for a few chains for a chainsaw an oddball size at that and these guys had it and even sharpened my original at a discount while I waited. Very disappointing. They are a "service center" for Poulan. I took in a chainsaw for warranty repair work and was basically told it was my fault it wouldn't start. It was a carburetor problem or bad gas. I wish I was as much if a genius as Caleb as he didn't even touch it to diagnose the problem. But he was quick to try and write me up a service order for me to fix the repair. He then used an excuse that since I didn't have the receipt from where I purchased the unit he could not work on it. Even after I explained I had already talked to the factory an he could call and verify the unit was still under warranty with the serial number. I called the mfr an they called And spoke with Caleb as well and gave authorization. Then he "claimed" now it was the owners policy not to work on anything without a receipt and refused to work on it after authorized by the factory. I can honestly say I will never go in this doors again. Suggestion to Caleb, understand your customers needs before trying to sell something and be straight up and honest. Don't blame the mfr when it is YOUR policy. Thirdly, review the policies that don't make sense or put someone at the counter that can make common sense decisions. read more

Brought my portable generator in for its first oil change after only 10 hours of use. How complicated can that be? Apparently, too complicated for this place. Brought it home only to realize a day later that oil had leaked from the generator onto the floor, due to being overfilled...so much so that I basted out a large baby food jar full before getting it to the appropriate level. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done with an oil satureated spark plug and a filter. Cost $ me to undo what they did... Although they refunded the cost of the oil change, they didn't want to own up to the fact that their mistake damaged my basically new generator. Beware! read more

I bring my small engines to Mow Power regularly. I expect my saw, pressure sprayer, rotor tiller, generator, lawn mower etc to work. Knowing nothing about the "machines" makes me a regular victim. However, I will continue bringing my machines there. They are overpriced but at least you know "it's" coming. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Horrible customer service. They do NOT stand behind their equipment. Rented a saw from them and it was so dull that it would not cut the smallest of my tree branches. Immediately took it back and they could not care less, it was my problem that their saw was dull. They did nothing to make it right, didn't offer a refund or to let me try another saw. Will never use them again, would never recommend them. Call around, there are reputable providers out there. read more
