That works until it doesn't -- and when you need a tool right NOW, a short drive beats overnight delivery. Be aware if you're buying Gatorade there, prices of $8.98 per case. Be careful, because a case isn't what you see enclosed in cardboard (24 bottles): a case is 8 bottles, and there are three sets of 8-bottle packs in the cardboard pack. Deceptive... In this case, I didn't care about the prices because our local fire department stopped a brush fire from burning down my house the day before, and as they were still hard at work, we bought 96 bottles of Gatorade, packed them in shaved ice and delivered them ice-cold to the county, city, and state crews working to save our town. My family and I have had the displeasure of doing business with this company 3 times, but I'll just share the issues I've had. Encounter #1: I bought an iPhone 4S off of Craigslist from the owner. I didn't know who he was--it was just your standard Craigslist transaction. The screen had a greenish tint--some other kind of glass? He said it was better, but I can tell you what wasn't better--the screen protruded further than the OEM glass, so the phone would NEVER be able to fit into a normal, protective case. Little did I know I'd be meeting him again. Encounter #2: A few months later, I found that the Facetime had never worked on the phone. Something wrong with a microphone . . . . I searched Craigslist for an iPhone repair person, and that led me to these guys. I brought the phone in. They "fixed" it. I took it home. It wasn't fixed. I took it back at least one more time (might have been two more times) before they actually fixed it correctly. By the end of this encounter, I was pretty frustrated with them. But wait--there's more. I needed two little screws for the bottom of an iPhone 4. How much did he charge me for these 2 little screws? $5. I suppose that price wasn't so bad . . . IF I WAS BUYING 200 OF THEM. But I paid it--I just didn't want to ever see him again. As I left, I thought to myself . . . "hey . . . is this the same guy I bought the phone from????" It sure was. Never, ever, ever do business with these charlatans.

When my wife and I bought our new home in Washington State last week, we only had one problem: How…read morewould we get all of our things, including our car and our two dogs, from Peoria, Arizona to Coupeville, Washington - a distance of 1,452 miles? We found the answer. It was Hampton's Moving Services, from Cave Creek, Arizona. And it turns out that the best movers we have ever used, by far, quoted us the lowest price too! After all these years, we have accumulated a lot of stuff. And we were moving it all a pretty long distance. So, we had to find someone that we could afford who could handle our move. We found Kevin (Hampton) and Melissa (Edwards). Kevin and Melissa do things very differently. First of all, they took the time and made the effort to come to our house in Arizona to see for themselves what we were going to be moving. Try to find any other moving company who does that. You won't! Once they saw what we had to move they gave us a price. The price they gave us was all-inclusive. And we paid exactly what they said we would be paying. There were no extra charges. There were no hidden costs. There were no surprises. Period. They also told us that everything would fit into one truck, that only our belongings would be on that truck, that they would load the truck on Saturday morning in Arizona, and that they would unload the truck in Washington on Monday. They also told us that only their employees would load and unload the truck, and that they trained their employees themselves. Everything they told us was true. They spent less than 5 hours loading the truck on Saturday, and they spent about 4 hours unloading everything on Monday. While they were driving from Arizona to Washington, we flew from Phoenix to Bellingham, Washington with our two dogs. Nothing was damaged, nothing was missing. Everything was placed in our new home exactly where we asked them to put it. There were no cross words, no temper tantrums, no arguments, and no dirty looks. Our car was not scratched, dented, or damaged in any way. Kevin, Melissa, and Horst love to move people's things from point A to point B. They enjoy moving things to a new place in the same town or to a city on the other side of the country. They take pride in their work. They enjoy doing things right and doing things efficiently. They work very hard, and they smile the whole time. They care about their customers and their customers' things. They enjoyed moving us. My wife and I were very fortunate to have Kevin, Melissa, and Horst move our household and our car from Arizona to Washington State. We could not have chosen a better moving company to handle our long-distance move. Not for love or money! Who are you going to trust with your belongings?

This is a correction to my review of 3/22/2023…read more We hired Hampton's for a move from Tucson to California in early 2023. Everything was terrific, and we posted a rave Yelp review on 3/22/2023. When we decided to move back to Arizona in July 2024, of course we hired them again. However, this time they used pickup crews on both ends, with very disappointing results: -- There was no inventory of boxes and their contents. Instead, items were jammed into random, mislabeled boxes. (After days of searching, I finally found my office computer in the garage, at the bottom of a box labeled "Books."). -- Careless packing and/or handling caused hundreds of dollars of damage. -- Adding insult to injury, they charged us $350 more than the contract price. All attempts to resolve the problems have failed. They ignored multiple email or phone messages, and eventually responded by accusing us of harassing them because we are "old and bored with nothing to do." I gave them ample warning about this review update, practically begging them for a negotiated settlement, but my emails and text messages went undelivered, apparently because they have blocked communication. What a way to treat a customer!
