We had previously ordered a dumpster from waste management. Not only was it more expensive, but they did damage our driveway and cost twice as much in the end for all the extra charges. They fail to make scheduled pickups and will not refund for their theft of services. It must be nice to charge customers and give them bad or no service in return. My husband and I recently rented a dumpster. We researched many places and found Scott Waste Services the most affordable. We needed the dumpster to gut our home. We ordered a 30 yd dumpster through their website and confirmed delivery date and placement on the phone. It was a relaxed, professional process. At the time of early morning delivery, the dumpster appeared larger than expected; and, the planned spot for the dumpster would no longer work. The driver provided his professional advisement on better placement. Additionally, he informed us they upsized the dumpster without charge because they were currently out of 30 yd. dumpsters. My husband and I were grateful because they could have called us to reschedule or cancel our request. The price of the dumpster is for 3-weeks of use. Our work repeatedly called us to come in on our days off so we found ourselves out of time to finish our project. We kept the dumpster 6 extra days after inquiring on the reasonable per day fee. We're not sure if they had ninjas pick up the dumpster or if the dumpster was a Portkey because we didn't hear a thing and neither did our dog. We will definitely be using Scott Waste Services again in the future and highly recommend anyone who needs an affordable dumpster to rent through them. Great customer service. This is the second dumpster I rented from them. They allowed me to extend the dumpster by a week as a courtesy. Angelo in their office is very helpful. He gave me information and advice on the expected weight of concrete in the bin and helped answer a question about acceptable material in the concrete and dirt bin. This means a lot when you're trying to avoid overages and fees. I initially went with them due to their prices but I'll use them in the future again for their excellent service. read more

As soon as I called Scott Waste Services, my call was promptly answered and the exact dumpster size I wanted was available for the day I requested. It arrived exactly on time and the driver, Mark, was very pleasant. He showed me how to operate the door, lock the dumpster and placed it exactly where I wanted, patiently waiting while I had a customers car moved. I get a call this morning that Scott was unable to process payment. I made it clear that there was money in the bank and that I have had no problem with the card. The office manager gets on the call, and she runs the card again without success. I reiterate that there is nothing wrong with the card and then she goes into how I need to call my bank or get her a new card and get this paid. To call her tone unpleasant would be the understatement of the year; a saying which doesn't have the same effect when posted on January 2nd. I sit on hold with my bank and the representative tells me that the office manager is running the card as a debit. I get the office manager on the phone with the back rep who asks the office manager to run it again. Wouldn't you know that the card goes through! Beware, whether its your fault or theirs, you will be made to feel like a deadbeat if there is anything wrong with payment. read more

I shopped for a dumpster on Yelp, and found a few - finally chose Scott. So glad I did! Lisa, who answered the phone and set it up, was great - so helpful. Delivery was great, put it right where I wanted. I live in a nice neighborhood, so the fact that Scott Waste "refreshes" their dumpsters after nearly every client was a fabulous bonus. Rather than a rusty old thing in my front yard for two weeks, it was nice and clean and white - not your typical "eye sore" in the neighborhood. They showed up on time the driver was great and super nice on the phone. I called mid project as I was concerned that we would go over the size/weight limit. My wife and I are helping our kids renovate a townhouse in Tempe, AZ. We needed a 15-yard roll-off dumpster for all of the debris. I looked in Google and on Yelp and the Scott reviews compelled me to call. They did not disappoint. The woman who answered the phone was professional and helpful. She explained the process and the prices. I scheduled a container and provided some details as to where to deliver it. The driver showed up on time and called me when he was at the delivery site. He offered some advice on where I should leave the container versus where I initially wanted to place it. The driver was courteous and professional. I received an email receipt after delivery. I had the container four days and then called for pick up. Scotts promptly scheduled and picked up the unit. Very good service and professional staff. Getting the roll off was very easy. Office staff is knowledgeable and helped me pick the right size. The delivery was as promised. However the driver parked the roll off with the door against the fence. It only left us about 3 feet to get the door open. The property has a huge parking lot so there was no reason to park it that way. When I complained the office staff said it was my fault because the driver was told to park it in that position. When I checked with the on-site property manager she said she never told him to park it in a way that would not allow access to the container. She just indicated a general area in the parking lot so it would not block parking spaces. When Scott asked me for a review I stated this issue. The office told me it was my fault not the drivers fault because he parked it where he was told. She stated whatever I said was hearsay like I was lying. Then she said I should have called and they would have come back and moved it into the proper position. But given the fact she said I, or the property manager, told the driver to put it in that position I am sure I would have been charged for the return trip. I told her the driver's should be trained not to do this or to point out to the person ordering the roll off that this would be an issue loading things into the container. This is the second time Scott has put a roll off in an awkward position. If you decide to use Scott be sure to have someone there to tell the driver exactly where to put the roll off so the doors are not blocked. read more

Great company to work with, even the driver had dumped the dumpster close to a parked car and we could not open the door since it was abandoned car and we had no keys the driver was willing to come and move it without any charge, first they wanted the $125 but the owner waive the fee and next day the dumpster was full ready to be picked up.
