Scott Waste & Recycling Service, LLC. was one of the subcontractors that didn't get paid by a general contractor (Shane Salyers of Salyers & Sons) when he abandoned our renovation (and kept the money we paid). Scott Waste's owner, Scott, said that Shane's credit card was declined, but Scott continued to empty the dumpster several times (?) and run up the bill until Shane abandoned the project and we called to have the dumpster removed. Scott tried to convince us to pay $1050 and called us "pathetic" and threatened to leave the dumpster blocking our driveway indefinitely, but instead the next week his company came and dumped the contents of the full 15 yard dumpster on our driveway, in the rain! Not Cool. His service agreement was with Shane Salyers, and we already paid Shane a ridiculous amount of money, including $1800 for dumpsters. We have no idea whether Shane paid Scott. Based on the contents of the dumpster we doubt that it was emptied several times; maybe once. Instead of doing the right thing, cutting his losses, collecting the dumpster, and pursuing proper legal action against the contractor he had an agreement with (just like we have had to do), he took his frustration out on us. Shane should have paid Scott with the money that we gave him and we are sorry if he didn't, but if Scott isn't able to collect from Shane, he's lost less than $2K. We have lost many times that amount. Again, not cool. read more

Requested 2 internet quotes and never received a reply. Not very good customer service!

DON'T RENT A BIN FROM THIS COMPANY. Rented a 20 yard bin for house hold items and received a bin that was beveled for concrete and building material. So we couldn't fit all the stuff into the bin. They told me that all I had to do was call that day and another bin would be delivered...well I did and the woman who answers the phone was totally rude. She said "no" and was going to pick up the bin the next day no matter what. I ask to speak to Scott and she have me a song and dance about him not being around and would not give me a date when is was coming back and that I would have to deal with her or no one else. read more

Delivered as promised, when promised! Excellent Customer Service with no Surprises! Highly Recommended! read more

A little pricier than I wanted but the dumpster arrived on time, the quote and delivery was easy to coordinate through texts and email, and the gentleman picking it up early in the morning made a great effort to do it quietly. I had a good experience and would use them again if I have that much junk to get rid of. read more

They were awesome to work with. Communication was easy, delivered on time and placed where I specifically asked. Best part was they were cheaper than all other competitors. HIGHLY recommend. Would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

Called to have a last minute dumpster dropped off just after the holiday. The Scott's team was very quick and helpful getting the dumpster delivered - I ran into some delays and had to keep the dumpster longer than I initially expected. Angelo was quick to respond to my request and help me take care of my extension. Will be using them again in the future. read more

Quick service with no surprises! I would definitely use Scott Waste Services again.

Scott's Waste Services does exactly what they say they will do. Angelo was very helpful over the phone and email answering my questions and Edward delivered the dumpster, and even put some boards underneath it at my request to protect my driveway. Definitely went above and beyond. If I need a dumpster service again will be using Scott's. read more

I called Scott on a Saturday morning at 9 am, he delivered a dump by 10:30am! Then I called him on a Wednesday morning at 11 am for pick up and he had somebody out to pick it up that same day! He was friendly, fast, and the cheapest deal I could find! I would definitely recommend and use him again! read more

Got what I needed and then called them up for early pickup. No issues. Will recommend to others for they waste needs. Nice staff.

Excellent customer service best prices and very professional staff... definitely referring all my friends and family

I recently concluded the second business transaction with Scott and this time unfortunately in a absolutely disgusting way. I rented a 15 yards dumpster for clearing the front and back yard for paves and the scope was to load the excess dirt. At the end we did find a couple of tree roots needed to be removed and we placed them on top of the dirt. When the driver showed up to pickup the dumpster, he called the owner Scott that it was "trash" in the dumpster initiating a phone call from Scott to me. Scott was very upset and I hardly could make it stop so I could say something. He treated me like the trash he handles all day instead to propose a charge for a mixed load or an additional charge for the inconvenience "if any". In the end my credit card was charged $100 extra... but it was the owner attitude that it makes me detest this experience. Definitely not recommended!!! read more

My husband and I used Scott Waste & Recycling for our home remodel at the end of July. They were kind, timely, and accurate with their quote. Additionally, they were helpful with determining needed bin size and driveway placement. They made our job easier and were the best quoted price we received. Would definitely use again and have recommended to friends and coworkers! read more

We pay for 2 cans per week. We decided to throw some Christmas decorations away, so both cans were full. A little snow comes on Monday, our trash pick-up day and Scott gets all our neighbors trash and skips us "due to weather". I call them and ask for help. They said save your trash for next week. Where am I to put this trash? We can just stack it around the house and use it for furniture, right! If I forget to help a customer, I take care of them soon as I realize it. Scott Waste says, "not our problem". read more

I sure like Scott's 5-star service. All of their staff are very friendly and helpful. The delivery and pick up were both very prompt and their equipment was in very good condition and was not unsightly on our yard. Highly recommend Scott Waste! read more

My in-laws were moving from a mini-farm they had lived on for over 50 years and we needed a roll-away dumpster for all of the trash and debris in the barn. I called around to several roll-away dumpster services and Scott Waste Services had the best price, AND were available to drop off a dumpster right away! Marissa was extremely helpful on the phone and went out of her way to make it happen for us. Thank you, Marissa! As promised, the dumpster was delivered right on time. When we realized how nice it was to have it for emptying out the barn, we decided we needed another one for the house. So, a few days later, after we filled up the first one, we ordered a second dumpster and asked them to pick up the first one. Right on cue, they were there to make the swap and we set to work filling up the second one. They were very careful about the property and surroundings, and set the dumpsters right where we asked them to. Excellent service! We now know who to call the next time we need a roll-away dumpster. Scott Waste Services is the best and is at the top of our list! Thank you! read more

I researched many companies before choosing Scott Wast Services for dumpster rental. They beat all prices but best of all is their service! Scott told me on the phone that he would take measures to protect my driveway and he did! He put down his own boards before placing the dumpster, unlike most companies. He was the only one that I called that would do this: most said that you have to place your own boards. The dumpster that came was clean and white and in excellent condition. There are two dumpsters in my neighborhood right now from different companies and they are gray, rusted and dented! When I needed the dumpster longer than two weeks he said "No Problem!" that he would work with me as the dumpster was not full. This is a great company! read more

I called Scott waste in order to get to get a dumpster for some yard waste. Staff was upfront about charges and options. They were able to give me a quote over the phone. Delivery was done promptly and as promised. I called a couple days later and pick up was also done when scheduled . There were no hidden charges and everything went extremely smooth without complications. Couldn't ask for anything more. read more

Awesome company to work with. Best rates I found by far and they easily accommodated my schedule for drop off and pick up of the dumpsters. Thanks for making it easy! read more

We rented 2 dumpsters (one for concrete and one for household goods) and had a great experience both times. Great customer service and so accommodating for delivery and pickup schedules. Thanks for making it so effortless!!! read more

Scott and his team are amazing from start to finish. From Lisa in the office scheduling the delivery, drop off of the container in a timely fashion in the exact place i wanted it, to pick up when scheduled! Driver was very polite and professional. Some may not think there is much importance in a dumpster, but when it is sitting in your driveway the last thing you want is an eye sore in the neighborhood! The container was clean and branded tastefully. My neighbor will be using them soon also! Thank you very much Scott and team! read more

I recently rented a dumspter from Scott and im highly satisfied with the service. He was there on time the same day I needed it and picked up when I was ready. He also has great prices. My company, M2 Enterprise, has been using Scott Waste Service for a few years now. Scott is very reliable and accommodates dumpster deliveries with ease. With a CC on file the process is hassle free and very simple. We call request size of dumpster needed, date of delivery and location to be dropped off at the property. . Once the dumpster is taken away I receive a call from the driver letting me know the amount of debris hauled away and if we were over the allotted limit. They have never missed a requested delivery. We will continue to use his services for years to come. read more
