I was referred here by another shop to have my cat converters checked out for my annual emmissions test. Chris said he was able to get me in on Wed or Thurs so I dropped it off with him on a Tuesday night so he could have it all day on Wednesday. I had also asked if he could check some other things out for me while he had it and he said sure and that they can get any kind of parts that I needed as I was interested in after market lights. I sent him a text with the kind I was interested in and he said that he can only get Ford headlights, I thought he knew that I had a Toyota, but okay.. no biggie. I waited until about 1 or 2 to call him on Wed to get a status update .. and he informed me that they had looked at my truck and found that it only needed a new sensor ... yippee for meee!! It was around $150 with an extra $5+ to pay with a cc so I was happy until I got there. I started my truck and it immediately started making a loud howling-like noise.. that did go away over a few minutes but I was nervous to drive it of course... but I did. I picked up my daughter ran around a bit and noticed that the battery light came on. So I texted Chris with a picture and my findings (the noise) and he said to bring it by or if it wouldn't start in the morning then he would come by and look at it. It did start in the morning, so I drove it to do my normal drop off service and was unable to cut out of work until 5 to get it by for them to look at it. The guy barely checked it over and said I needed an alternator so I left with my light still on as I wasn't going to entrust it with these guys to just start throwing parts at it. It broke down on me last night so I'm having to get it towed to hopefully a better, reputable shop for fixin :( read more
