I rented a mower a few weeks ago and had a positive experience. I went in person to see if they had any available as opposed to ordering it online because I needed to see what I was renting. The gentleman at the desk was really nice and helpful. I brought it back and had no problems. I did end up buying my own from offer up but if I need any landscape equipment, I'd check out mow power. read more

Brought my Husqvarna blower/vac in for repair. It leaked gas badly and was hard to start and would not stay running. I asked for an estimate before making repairs. They texted me a couple days later: "LOW COMPRESSION; NOT WORTH REPAIR". I picked it up and was charged $30 for their opinion! I ordered a fuel line, primer bulb, and filter kit (Air & fuel) and put it in myself. Cost $8.11 on Amazon. I installed it myself. Runs like a new machine. Starts on the forth pull and ran until I shut it off - and it doesn't leak gas. Used it this morning. I'm extremely disappointed in Mowpower - a professional repair business. read more

We've had our mower serviced at Mow Power a few times now. Their weekday hours are pretty limiting, closing at 5:00 pm, but do have some morning hours on the weekend. They've done a solid job both times. The first time we needed our mower overall serviced, as well as a replacement for spark plugs and another small part. They were a few weeks scheduled out, but it came back ready to work and we found the overall price reasonable. They definitely stay busy though. They have been great as well regarding some basic troubleshooting on the phone after our same mower was having a few issues a season later, which was greatly appreciated and allowed us to troubleshoot ourselves. They also rent a plethora of landscaping tools which can be great if you have a project or need something specific. read more

In this day and age trying to find a business that still respects their customers is difficult but these guys are the real deal. I had some trouble with the Cub Cadet while buying equipment direct from the manufacture. They were giving me a bit of the run around with a back ordered item but Richard was on top of it and was in constant communication with me - even though technically it wasn't his problem. Any future items that I need for my mower I will be buying from this business. Can't recommend enough! read more

Mow Power is the Taj Mahal for lawn service repair and new equipment. This place is immaculately clean and beautiful. The display of different lawn equipment is inspiring. The employees are very knowledgable and friendly. If you need you mower repaired, tuned up, sharpened or replaced, get to Mow Power for a full service lawn equipment. read more

Had to look for an alternative place seeing that since Covid my local nursery did not have any more small engine mechanics. They recommended this place. For my rotary lawn mower tune up and sharpen it was $100 and a reel mower tune up and sharpen it was $200. Honestly fair price. I do appreciate everyone willing enough to help me load the lawn mower on my truck and off my truck. They do have the fertilizers and everything else you need too! It's a bit longer of a drive but for the service it's worth it. When the mower was finished they send you a text. read more

My mower of 14 years of faithful service decided not to start one morning. I've always made sure to change the oil, the air filter, and spark plug on my own. I figured it was a carburetor issue. I emailed one place and got nothing in return. Called Mow Power and the lady told me to bring it down and they would take a look at it. I walked into the store, and just felt like I was in the right place. I was greeted promptly, and the rep asked me for my info, and asked what was going on with the mower, all the while I felt like I was part of the family, a regular customer. He was up front and said it would be about a 2 week wait because they were starting to get backed up (spring time). I told him I understood. 4 days goes by and I get a text with an epic estimate. I agreed and an hour later got another text "Come get your mower! It's fixed!" Went in the same day, paid for the mower, joked around a little with the rep that helped me, as well as the one that took my payment. They had me meet them outside, and started the mower up 2 or 3 times, to make sure that it started. They even offered to load the mower into the trunk for me. This is a 5 star company here! they know how to do the job, and how to treat their customers. if you want a new company you can trust to fix your lawn equipment, go here. you WON'T be sorry! read more

Very limited experience with them, but so far so good. Had the parts, the correct ones, and everything working well. I will do business with them again. read more

I had a Honda generator repaired one year ago at Mow Power. At that time, I had trouble with it and haven't used it since. I was ready to use it again for my yearly camping trip and tested it out only to find it still wasn't running correctly. I took it in and explained the situation. They very courteously took the generator immediately to the service department repaired the sticking carburetor with no charge. I walked out a very satisfied customer. This kind of service and warranty is hard to find these days. read more

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the service they had to order parts for my lawn mower which they should have had in stock. Then I had to wait an extra week to finally get my mower back because they were short-handed and the manager finally fixed it. read more

Hands down the best small engine repair shop in town. HUGE inventory of the best tools that pros or home owners would want for landscaping work. Great staff and great management. The new locations just enabled them to really live up to their potential. read more

I should of written this company a review a couple of years ago, some times it takes wild circumstances to open your eyes. Saturday afternoon 1pm mow power closes at 12 on sat. I close a job and I want to start it that day, I need an excavator I call MP they are closed, oh well let's try Home Depot No1 is a $ 1.500 dollar deposit that you get back after you return it so no big deal, wrong I used my card and my screen said approved remove card so I do, the guy behind the counter says declined, I check my on line banking and there is 1.500 to Home Depot long story short I still haven't gotten my money back and I never got an excavator, Monday morning I go to mow power and I'm in and out in les than ten minute for $ 235 and while I was using it something happened to the front control to the bucket so I took it back and less than ten minutes I'm driving away with another one and it has always been this kind of service with these guys never have I been disappointed and many times they have saved the day. I'm in the plumbing industry and we need these things all the time, and this is the only place I will go from now on. Thank you mow power Brian M Hall Division manager with Elite Rooter Phoenix read more

Reasonable prices, That had the parts and selection for what I needed for my Stihl blower. Staff was courteous and professional.

Three to four weeks wait to even diagnose what is wrong with my machine is not acceptable

Great service, incredible selection and professional staff. Off the charts facility and service department.

Called to let me know what repairs were needed on my chainsaw and how much it would cost to have it repaired. Had it repaired and ready for pick up when they said it would. Great business, great service. read more

This outfit is top of the line when it comes to value and customer service!! I have a Ferris Zero Turn ride on mower and it wasn't easy finding people to work on it. Was recommended to Mow Power by a friend and man am I glad! Jordan was my first contact there and he was very helpful. Called me two hours after I dropped it off, with an estimate for the repairs. Had the work done with no complaints. Honest & Fair!! read more

I came in to Mow Power's facility recently based upon a suggestion from neighbor, and I'm certainly glad I did. My 12-year-old Honda lawnmower was still operating good but I was in the market for a new one. After reviewing the shop in their inventory I was surprised everything they had on hand. I ended up buying a brand new Honda lawnmower at an attractive price. Logan and the service staff were very helpful even helped me load everything into the car. They have certainly earned my business and I would recommend them to my friends read more

Exceptional law and garden power tool store. First-class staff who are knowledgeable on just about every yard implement you can imagine or desire. I have purchased multiple Echo and Stihl power tools from them and been very, very happy with every purchase. They also take trade ins and are fair in the prices they offer for them. If you are looking for a landscaping and yard power tool store that goes above and beyond whether you're buying a bottle of weed killer or an Echo leaf blower with the force of a hurricane, look no further than Mow Power. read more

I'm big fan. I trust no other company to tune and sharpen my McLane reel mower. The folks at Mow Power will give you top notch service at competitive prices. And they'll do so with consistent speed and professional courtesy that will have you coming back for years. read more

Mow Power has guys that know a lot and got me the parts I needed quickly. I bought a lawn mower off craigslist... and she needed some TLC... Called around and everybody just wanted to sell me a new blade when all I wanted was to get it sharpened.... Mow Power did it for $6 - woot! Grabbed a couple parts, asked a question about the rebuild that they answered with some good info and I was off. I like that these guys know their shit and I can get in and out w/o a pitch. I also saw a few crews coming in to get their stuff serviced and buy some parts. It's a contracter type place... probably not for moms or basic homeowners - just sayin read more

Terrible customer service over the phone. Looking for a pull starter. Gave them model number after a 10 minute phone hold. He put me back on hold for 2 seconds then answered nothing here. I said can you verify the model #? He read back the wrong number. I gave it to him again. After putting me on another two second hold came back and said nope. customer service is important and having the wrong person answering the phone is well... read more

I called as a first time customer. After going through their auto attendant, the phone rang a couple of times. A man answered and quickly said "Mow Power Equipment can you please hold" as I was saying yes he placed me on hold. 5 mins goes by and he comes back on the line. Says again "can you please hold again?" I said "No I will call someone else". I guess they have enough work so I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

I took an old chain saw to get a tune up, and they returned it and fixed in in a timely manner. Chainsaw runs great!

Needed to rent a dethatcher for the yard. I saw good reviews for this place, and I believe I bought a used mower there many years ago. Anyway...I called and spoke with Jordan, who gave me the info I needed to make a decision to come to Mow Power as opposed to going to other home improvement stores who also rent out this equipment. The price was great. The dethatcher was...well it was my first time experiencing a dethatcher, but it was easy to start, in good shape with freshly sharpened blades (as shown to us by Caleb when we arrived to rent it). It definitely dethatched our yards! I brought it back without my boyfriend and I needed help getting it out of the truck bed. The gentleman working helped me get it out and was very friendly. I feel bad I didn't catch his name but he was super nice and even let me slide on about 5 minutes late to return. :) Good man! I really didn't want to have to fight about a few minutes and it was a huge relief that they used common sense and weren't jerks about it. Because of the great customer service and the fair pricing and treatment, we will certainly go back for any future lawn care needs. PS: I got a sweet rake there too. I'm short. So is the rake. I'm happy with it...as happy as one can be when raking in the summer in AZ. :) read more

As a Landcape Pro, these guy's are stand up, know their equipment, and have a great stock of parts. Highly recommend. They do great work, offer expedited service at a cost (Very rare), and has anything you can imagine. read more

Everybody we interacted with was awesome. They knew all the answers to our questions. They gave us free delivery the next day, spent time showing us how to use our new Cub Cadet, and even dropped off an extra key. Everybody was super friendly. We have been fans of Todd Taylor and his crew at Mow Power for years. They offer consistently good service, stand by their products, and are a friendly, helpful bunch. We have purchased an electric mower, a weed trimmer and other lawn equipment from them. There is a wide variety of quality products to choose from. If ever you need help with an item you purchased, or even need help with lawn equipment NOT purchased from them, they are available to assist you, often at no charge. It is a pleasure to do business here. I recently brought in an edger with a tangled line that was jammed so bad, we thought we'd have to toss it out. We brought it to Mow Power where 3 of their men worked on it diligently until they fixed it. No charge! We highly recommend them! THANK you! read more

I am a landscaper by trade and often use mow power for advice and the best equipment. If you are looking for cheap tools that will more than likely break often go with the bigger home improvement stores but if you are looking for tools that will last and make life a lot easier in the heat, go to mow power. I always personally recommend the stihl and Honda brand tools because of their low maintenance and high engine life. Both are found at mow power for usually cheaper than anywhere else. Although repairs generally take 5-10 days they are always good about calling you back and letting you know the situation. More oft than not I leave with more equipment than I anticipated getting but I'm always grateful when I'm in the field and I have the best tools read more

I will never use their services again. A few months ago I brought them an Echo 580T, a very highly rated backpack blower that had trouble starting and running after 6 months of use. I explained to them that I switched to a new fuel blend about a few days before the issue arose and that even after dumping the fuel and putting in my previous mix ratio/fuel that it still had trouble. After them having it for 3 weeks they called to say that the engine was destroyed and the unit was junk.......but they would be more than happy to show me new/used units. Well me being the stubborn person that I am, and refusing to throw away such an expensive unit, I took it to someone else to service. Turns out all it needed was a simple tune up.. 15 dollars in labor, about 5 dollars in parts and it was running again..... avoid like the plague read more

I was told point blank my repair would be done in one week. When I called to see if I could pick up, I was told I would have never been told that and they would not honor what I was originally promised. Very disappointing for a twenty year loyal customer. read more

I would give this place a 2 1/2 star rating. They know alot about lawn mowers, but they are really expensive and are only focused on selling you stuff you don't need. Shop around before coming here... read more

These were great! They were laid back, which was nice, and they did everything they said they would do, which was even nicer. I had called a couple of other places, they wanted between $50 and $75 to do the job, Mow Power did it for $20, cant beat that. read more

All good experiences at Mow Power. I have purchased and rented tools on several occasions. Rental prices are the best around, and the staff is very helpful in picking the right tool for the job. I recently rented a small excavator which had a fan belt failure during my use. They fixed it right away, and were flexible with the return time due to the failure. I always leave satisfied with great service. read more

Rented a small tractor on Friday, was finished with it Saturday afternoon. Store was closed Sunday so we couldn't return it. Got charged for a extra day of rental on Sunday. Used the tractor for 8 hours as almost ALL other rental places would not charge you for Sunday if the hours were not used. Highly recommend renting from A to Z, herc, sun state or anyone but these guys. This was our first time using Mow Power and we will never use or tell anyone to use them. read more

I dropped off a lawn mower for repair and a rototiller on Friday morning 5/18/2012, was told I would get a call back in a few hours with a price estimate...Saturday afternoon I call back to find out any info and was told they are running a week behind and wouldn't get a quote until the following Friday maybe Saturday(yes a week later). I chose this place because of word of mouth and reviews from many sources, only to be let down as a first impression. Won't be going here again, and this will definatley be a negative word of mouth. read more

Excellent service. Rented a scalper for 24 hours and it was such an efficient piece of equipment I only needed it for an hour and a half. I've had work done by them on my mower years ago and they would have received 5 stars. This time, I took my mower and blower in. Blower went back the same day I picked it up dripping gasoline and the motor was seized up. They fixed it and 30 min later I was on my way. It still won't start with the first pull like it used to but thats ok. Today it's dripping gasoline and won't start again. As for my mower, it worked great the first three mows and last week the fuel line is messed up. After $181.00 I can't afford to take either back in and feel like the service this time was terrible. I would have been better to save the money and frustration considering I only make $10 an hour and it was 2 days pay to apparently fix my mower and blower that don't work after a month. Very disappointed in the service this time. read more
