We've had our mower serviced at Mow Power a few times now. Their weekday hours are pretty limiting, closing at 5:00 pm, but do have some morning hours on the weekend. They've done a solid job both times. The first time we needed our mower overall serviced, as well as a replacement for spark plugs and another small part. They were a few weeks scheduled out, but it came back ready to work and we found the overall price reasonable. They definitely stay busy though. They have been great as well regarding some basic troubleshooting on the phone after our same mower was having a few issues a season later, which was greatly appreciated and allowed us to troubleshoot ourselves. My mower of 14 years of faithful service decided not to start one morning. I've always made sure to change the oil, the air filter, and spark plug on my own. I figured it was a carburetor issue. I emailed one place and got nothing in return. Called Mow Power and the lady told me to bring it down and they would take a look at it. I walked into the store, and just felt like I was in the right place. I was greeted promptly, and the rep asked me for my info, and asked what was going on with the mower, all the while I felt like I was part of the family, a regular customer. He was up front and said it would be about a 2 week wait because they were starting to get backed up (spring time). I told him I understood. 4 days goes by and I get a text with an epic estimate. I agreed and an hour later got another text "Come get your mower! It's fixed!" Went in the same day, paid for the mower, joked around a little with the rep that helped me, as well as the one that took my payment. They had me meet them outside, and started the mower up 2 or 3 times, to make sure that it started. They even offered to load the mower into the trunk for me. Had to look for an alternative place seeing that since Covid my local nursery did not have any more small engine mechanics. They recommended this place. For my rotary lawn mower tune up and sharpen it was $100 and a reel mower tune up and sharpen it was $200. Honestly fair price. I do appreciate everyone willing enough to help me load the lawn mower on my truck and off my truck. They do have the fertilizers and everything else you need too! I had a Honda generator repaired one year ago at Mow Power. At that time, I had trouble with it and haven't used it since. I was ready to use it again for my yearly camping trip and tested it out only to find it still wasn't running correctly. I took it in and explained the situation. They very courteously took the generator immediately to the service department repaired the sticking carburetor with no charge. I walked out a very satisfied customer. I should of written this company a review a couple of years ago, some times it takes wild circumstances to open your eyes. Saturday afternoon 1pm mow power closes at 12 on sat. I close a job and I want to start it that day, I need an excavator I call MP they are closed, oh well let's try Home Depot No1 is a $ 1.500 dollar deposit that you get back after you return it so no big deal, wrong I used my card and my screen said approved remove card so I do, the guy behind the counter says declined, I check my on line banking and there is 1.500 to Home Depot long story short I still haven't gotten my money back and I never got an excavator, Monday morning I go to mow power and I'm in and out in les than ten minute for $ 235 and while I was using it something happened to the front control to the bucket so I took it back and less than ten minutes I'm driving away with another one and it has always been this kind of service with these guys never have I been disappointed and many times they have saved the day. Needed to rent a dethatcher for the yard. I saw good reviews for this place, and I believe I bought a used mower there many years ago. Anyway...I called and spoke with Jordan, who gave me the info I needed to make a decision to come to Mow Power as opposed to going to other home improvement stores who also rent out this equipment. The price was great. The dethatcher was...well it was my first time experiencing a dethatcher, but it was easy to start, in good shape with freshly sharpened blades (as shown to us by Caleb when we arrived to rent it). It definitely dethatched our yards! I brought it back without my boyfriend and I needed help getting it out of the truck bed. The gentleman working helped me get it out and was very friendly. I feel bad I didn't catch his name but he was super nice and even let me slide on about 5 minutes late to return. :) Good man! I really didn't want to have to fight about a few minutes and it was a huge relief that they used common sense and weren't jerks about it. Because of the great customer service and the fair pricing and treatment, we will certainly go back for any future lawn care needs. PS: I got a sweet rake there too. I'm short. So is the rake. I am a landscaper by trade and often use mow power for advice and the best equipment. If you are looking for cheap tools that will more than likely break often go with the bigger home improvement stores but if you are looking for tools that will last and make life a lot easier in the heat, go to mow power. I always personally recommend the stihl and Honda brand tools because of their low maintenance and high engine life. Both are found at mow power for usually cheaper than anywhere else. Although repairs generally take 5-10 days they are always good about calling you back and letting you know the situation. I will never use their services again. A few months ago I brought them an Echo 580T, a very highly rated backpack blower that had trouble starting and running after 6 months of use. I explained to them that I switched to a new fuel blend about a few days before the issue arose and that even after dumping the fuel and putting in my previous mix ratio/fuel that it still had trouble. After them having it for 3 weeks they called to say that the engine was destroyed and the unit was junk.......but they would be more than happy to show me new/used units. Well me being the stubborn person that I am, and refusing to throw away such an expensive unit, I took it to someone else to service. Turns out all it needed was a simple tune up.. 15 dollars in labor, about 5 dollars in parts and it was running again..... avoid like the plague read more

Rented a small tractor on Friday, was finished with it Saturday afternoon. Store was closed Sunday so we couldn't return it. Got charged for a extra day of rental on Sunday. Used the tractor for 8 hours as almost ALL other rental places would not charge you for Sunday if the hours were not used. Highly recommend renting from A to Z, herc, sun state or anyone but these guys. This was our first time using Mow Power and we will never use or tell anyone to use them. read more

I dropped off a lawn mower for repair and a rototiller on Friday morning 5/18/2012, was told I would get a call back in a few hours with a price estimate...Saturday afternoon I call back to find out any info and was told they are running a week behind and wouldn't get a quote until the following Friday maybe Saturday(yes a week later). what a beautiful business this is this location is about 1/2 mile from the old location still on gilbert road east side between university and brown. Drive ways are double car in and out plenty of parking and then you walk inside to a huge selection of landscape and home owner equipment all top brands like stihl and echo .There is every kind and size of gas powered equipment on the walls .I have never been this impressed with any stores selection as I am with mow power .They have fuel oil all the accessories needed mowers trimmers blowers and audio video stations to watch and learn about different products and the floor design is awesome as well there is a full service department lots of counter help with the most knowledgeable staff that are friendly and courteous they service all different types of equipment even if you don't need any kind of equipment but are impressed buy what a store has to offer you have to stop in and see this place it is an epic store ive only written one or two reviews in my life and they were short cause I wasn't impressed that's why this is so long .Because I was blown away but the stock there not all cluttered but thoughtfully spaced and neat open floor space with such a huge variety .never been more impressed by another store .Way to go Todd and did I mention the floors ! read more

I've had work done by them on my mower years ago and they would have received 5 stars. This time, I took my mower and blower in. Blower went back the same day I picked it up dripping gasoline and the motor was seized up. They fixed it and 30 min later I was on my way. It still won't start with the first pull like it used to but thats ok. Today it's dripping gasoline and won't start again. As for my mower, it worked great the first three mows and last week the fuel line is messed up. After $181.00 I can't afford to take either back in and feel like the service this time was terrible. I would have been better to save the money and frustration considering I only make $10 an hour and it was 2 days pay to apparently fix my mower and blower that don't work after a month. They told me ten dollars to check out, was running fine before, just had a primer bulb crack, I replaced myself now won't start. They gave me a estimate of $65 for tune up that I didn't need. I replaced a cracked hose that we both missed the first time. Runs great out ten dollars. Went back in and talked with Mgr. He said, we don't just replace the fuel line .
