Their price was very competitive, but what really sold me was the clear and effortless communication I had with them from the get-go. No ambiguities or hidden costs, and in each of the three times I happened to call, I actually got a live person without having to navigate any sort of phone menu or leave a voice message which is practically unheard of these days. What a pleasure! Also, I had to change my move date five days prior to my move after I found out the HOA of the condo I was moving into does not allow Sunday moves, and Paul at Move4U was incredibly accommodative on the phone, helping me find another day which worked for them and the elevator scheduling of the building I was moving out of. Once I set the new date, I got a confirmation email, and the night before the move I got a reminder call. The guys also called me the morning of my move, and they arrived exactly when we agreed and got right to work. I had some fragile items they wrapped very professionally, including a big heavy glass coffee table and an eight foot high custom floor lamp. They dismounted my flat screen TV, wrapped it carefully, and remounted it for me at my new place. These guys know exactly what they're doing, and they work fast but with great care. Move4u was wonderful from start to finish. Let's start at the beginning. I contacted Bohdan (Dan) and he conveniently came over when I asked, gave me an estimate very quickly, then returned the next day with 50+ boxes. He said "Use what you need" and we can sort it out later. I can't quite remember, but the bigger boxes were like $3? and the smaller $2? His estimate for the move was very reasonable. We did not pack as much as we should have, and so the 5 guys did a ton of work getting everything ready for the move. It made what should have been a short day into a very long long day. Sorry about that. *quick tip. When you think you have "packed" everything, you probably haven't* We kept finding tons of stuff that we hadn't packed. These guys just soldiered on and got it ready to go and then into the truck. All in all, this turned into a 14 hour day for these guys, and not one complaint was heard. They were all very polite, cautious, and professional. Dan runs the show, but any one of these guys would be up to the task. Nothing was damaged in the move. The price was very reasonable. They were on-time, and did not leave until they were sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend Move4u. Side note.....The Friday before our Monday move, I had a kind of emergency where the furniture guys had put together 3 bedroom sets all in the wrong rooms. (my fault) I called Dan on his cell and asked if he had any time to help move these things into the correct rooms. Excellent moving company. Dmitrii, Leonid, Oleg, and Roman, were extremely efficient, punctual, and professional. They were communicative and contacted us with an ETA 15 minutes before their scheduled arrival. It was right down to business as soon as then showed up. All of our belongings were plastic wrapped, bubble wrapped, and taped up in record time. I can't say enough how impressed I was at their speed and efficiency. I definitely learned a thing or two about how to properly wrap furniture when moving just by watching them. Once we arrived at our new apartment, they unloaded everything even more quickly than it was packed up. We paid the initial deposit in cash and the rest was conveniently paid through Venmo. I thought they were reasonably priced. In fact, we ended up paying less than what was originally quoted, which was a pleasant surprise. My husband was initially opposed to hiring movers, but this experience changed his mind. He admitted that the Move4U movers did an amazing job and that he would absolutely hire them again for our next move! So this is going to be my first Yelp review ever, and I'm writing this to let everyone know what a great job they did. I had Dan as my head mover, and he brought along two other guys. The whole experience was seamless and easy. They arrived on time and also called just beforehand to let me know they were on their way. When they got to the house, they quickly packed, wrapped, and loaded everything I had in the apartment. They moved extremely quickly, and were very professional. Once they got everything to the new apartment, they quickly unloaded the truck, and got everything up to my second floor apartment in less than an hour. There was no damage, no problems, and I highly recommend these guys for anyone's move. I will definitely be using them again the next time I move into a new apartment. Additionally, I was told that in the past few months, yelp has deleted some of their reviews. This could likely be due to the fact that they are a newer company, or some other unknown reason. But, as I previously said, this is my first review ever on yelp, and it's only to let everyone know how great of service they provide. I recently used Move 4 U for a move and highly recommend this moving company! It was a much larger job than anticipated and the guys were complete professionals. They were so thorough with the move and handled all furniture and boxes with care. They treated my items as if they were their own, wrapping fragile items with care, from high end items to items purchased at Target. I appreciated them very much! The moving process is so stressful and every time Andrew saw a look of concern on my face as I was trying to pack or wrap random items, he would tell me, "don't worry, we got this" and they truly did! I am forever grateful to Andrew and his team and Move 4 U! I randomly emailed a few companies for quotes and they got back to me first. The storage at the starting point did not allow the team to go in for an hour early in the morning to start loading my belongings into their truck. The team communicated the problem with me effectively and the problem was solved. My boxes are dirty because of the trailer provided by another company. Despite all these unpleasant and unexpected situations which could have affected their subsequent jobs in the day, the team remained professional and well-mannered, and did an outstanding job in a timely fashion. I have NEVER written a review for anything, however, this is worthy of the time and effort. Even though I used them back in December 2018, I promised myself and owner, I'd write a review. I am so skeptical about reviews and if they are real (it's just me). Anyway, I found Move4U through Yelp and I must say Move4U is professional, affordable and quite pleasant to do business with. They responded promptly with a great quote for 3 hours. Once I confirmed with them, 3 movers showed up on time and ready to work. They packed me up, made sure everything was secure, and were very nice guys. When I asked if they needed my help with things that I thought was alittle challenging, the response was always "Oh no, we'll take care of it". They beat me to my new place. I was concerned that like other companies, they'd try to slow down to keep cost up. These guys worked so fast and efficient. They were done, and back in their truck in 2 hours. I paid for 2 hours instead of 3. Everything was put in proper place, including clothes in designated closets. I have been telling my friends about Move4U. I was more than pleased. Move4U was outstanding from beginning to end! Our crew, Mike, Sergiy, and Nurbek were so helpful and they made my move stress free. They came prepared with boxes and extra packaging, were very kind and patient, and were very careful with all of my belongings. They wrapped all of my furniture, mirrors, and artwork to ensure nothing was damaged along the way. While they were extra careful while moving everything, they were very quick at the same time. They charge by the hour, but they try to get it done as quickly as possible for you to minimize that charge. A quote was provided when I first made the reservation and again at the beginning of the moving process. This was very helpful as I was aware how the cost was going to be calculated throughout the move. I was also their second stop of the day, so they were a little delayed at the beginning. However, I received a call from Dan way ahead of time to let me know of the updated timeline. This was not a big deal at all and I really appreciated the great communication. I can't say enough good stuff about Paul and his crew. He was the first to respond to my request for a moving estimate, and made sure that when I booked his services, I knew I was getting the best. In a world where moving company horror stories abound, a company that lives up to its promises is golden. Relocating is already stressful enough. On an utter crap weather day (a cold, slushy Wednesday in January), Paul and his men were on time (even a few minutes early) and worked a full 8-hour day. They treated my belongings as if they were their own. Not a single item received so much as a scratch - no small feat when moving a family out of a third-floor walkup on an icy day. They were thorough, quick and consistent even though the weather and the volume of stuff they were charged with moving would have tried anyone's patience. Instead, the crew was unfailingly courteous and professional. And let me also add that our final bill was 40% lower than anything I was quoted by other companies. Just finished my move with Move4U, the crew Victor, Mark, Sasha and Paul was very professional and responsible! They called to confirm arrival time and arrived in time and started working right away. I had already moved all of my small belongings and boxes from my old apartment, so all I had left to move were the heavy things. They wrapped every item to ensure they were delivered in the same condition and they were completed in less time than the estimate. I received quotes from a couple local moving companies their price was the best. I was in a 2 bed w/den in Lake View and moved to a condo in Old Town. Loading in an elevator building with reserved elevator, and unloading and walking up to the 2nd floor took a total of 4 hours ( was quoted for 5hours). And like I said the price is VERY AFFORDABLE! My move was very pleasant. Thanks to the MOVE4U. Also communication with them very easy, they always pick up a phone and answer on emails in 10-20 min. This is my second experience with this company and I could not say nothing except GREAT JOB AND THANK YOU!!! Last time we hired them only for moving and this time we decided to give Move For You to do all the job, so we ordered a packing and unpacking services as well. Everything was packed and wrapped with in 2 hours ( 2 bedrooms apartment ), nothing was damaged. All the glass, plates, cups were wrapped individually in packing paper/babble wrap. At the new apartment everything was unpacked and placed to the asked place ( they even took all the used boxes with them). I want to thank you for the great service . Every person whom I interacted with in your company did a great job. Dan and Paul were answering to my emails and phone calls right away. They were always very polite especially considering that I had to make changes several times. Actually 10 stars for this company. Perfectly value priced for all aspects of interaction from beginning to end. The 4 kind, clean humans, Mike, Nazar, Sergito and Dimitri, from Ukraine and Russia who moved our lives, were timely, hard working and focused, while very respectful, conscientious light hearted and even joyful, even with moving 40 boxes and furniture into a 3rd floor walk-up! Totally smooth and honest with the charge at the end. I had been preliminarily quoted 4 hours with the data I provided of 25-30 boxes, and when they showed up and assessed the amount to move, closer to 40 boxes, the quote was understandably revised to be 6 hours. Thankfully we took the time to pack thoughtfully, which resulted in the move actually being 4.5 hours, for which we were honestly charged. Attitude is everything. Admittedly, I was nervous with how many reviews they had when I made the appointment, but Paul got back to me quicker than any other mover, and had a better estimate than others. So, I booked them and hoped that I did the right thing. TLDR: I did! Dan and his team arrived on time and got right to work. They were efficient, fast, and more importantly they were careful with my belongings. Dan personally made sure furniture was wrapped in blankets or plastic so everything stayed clean and safe. I had never used moving companies before, few weeks ago was my first time and I used MOVE4U. I used these guys for a 1 bedroom + office move 1 mile across the city, and they were super efficient. The whole move took almost 3.5 hours. They originally estimated for 4. We came in $100 under our estimate. Dan and his team, Victor and Paul arrived 15 minutes early and start working.Everything that was not boxed was wrapped quickly. Nothing was damaged, it is the best money I have ever spent. They packed furniture and wrapped it in plastic wrap to make sure everything stays clean. Also they take apart the bed they will put it back for you.
