A flawless move from start to finish, although truth be told I may have been the easiest move ever for them. We moved a few miles away and were able to bring things over earlier before the actual day the lease started, so we took everything that would fit either into my car or Andy's jeep. That left about 6 pieces of big furniture and maybe 10 or so boxes that were on the heavy side. The day of the move I received a call with an offer to bump up the appointment since another move had finished early. I said to come at 2:30 and they literally arrived at 2:30 - on the dot. Every item was carried carefully and/or wrapped in shrink very quickly and professionally. Same on the other end - they brought everything in carefully, placed it where I said, and unwrapped it so fast I never even saw them do it. A quoted 3 hour time ended up being 1 1/2 hours and therefore a smaller bill which I very much appreciated. Unlike the other reviewers, the two men I had did not run, but they were so super fast and efficient they didnt need to! Nothing damaged, nothing lost. Very impressed. I'll add another 5 star review for Pete and Pat for making my move go very smoothly. I have to admit, they were nearly 2 hours late, which would cost any normal mover I'd rate on Yelp at least 2 stars. But Smooth Moves more they made up for it by totally busting their asses once they got there and moving all of my stuff over to my new condo in no time at all. I kid you not: Once they arrived, they moved all of my stuff out of the old place AND into the new place in less time than it took my previous movers just to unload the truck when I moved into the old place a year ago. They also stayed in touch with me while I was waiting to keep me assured that I wasn't going to be stranded. These guys are not only incredible because of how fast they move, but they are really friendly and they make you feel comfortable with your stuff. I most recently used Move-tastic! for the fourth time in about five years. In the past, my moves with them were always painless, quick, and inexpensive. This time, and maybe the downpour is partly to blame, but my floor in the condo I was selling was badly scratched (I spent hours the next day reducing the visibility of the scratch), they put a four inch dent in the wall with the couch, and shattered a box of glass vases and decorative items, most of which are irreplaceable. Thank goodness my box of rare beers (first world problem, amirite?) only ripped open and nothing broke. I've contacted them but... that whole moving thing didn't leave me with a lot of time to file a claim. I suppose I should file that and update the review. I will say that they were good about accommodating my repeat requests to move the date, etc. So, I might use them again, maybe, but I'd be sure to watch them like a hawk the next time. It's a real shame, because we had a good run up until that point. read more

I had the A very good experience with Travis Budd leading both my packing and moving teams. The packers did a really fantastic job. It was invaluable to be able to pack up the whole house the day before we moved. The whole team was very friendly and easy to talk to: Travis, Brandon Collier, and Joseph Damice. The moving team was great as well they got there early and literally jogged up and down my stairs all morning getting my stuff in the truck! You pay these guys hourly, so it would be in there interest to take their time. I was super impressed with their effort. They were really easy on the walls of both of my places and any damage was super minor. Much better than if I had done it with friends and family like I used to. My moving team was: Travis, Jaylen, Lance, and Tsering. Couple things I didn't know going in that everyone should know: -Plan on tipping your guys (didn't know this was common place) but it needs to be budgeted because these guys bust their butts for you all day, and whatever they are getting paid it's not enough. -Get all the supplies yourself at Homedepot or wherever you get moving supplies they charge a premium for using their boxes, tape, bubble wrap, ext. read more

Quite simply, the best moving experience I could imagine. NO HIDDEN CHARGES. I cannot stress enough how important this was to me after getting totally taken advantage of during my last move. These guys charge $100 an hour, plus $75 for the truck fee and $40 for materials. That's it. They will not overcharge you later. Also for me, the actual cost came in well below the estimated cost (estimated 4.5hrs, took 3.25). Also, they are FRIENDLY. They speak english and they seem genuinely pleased to be doing what they're doing. They took great care of all my stuff, and they did it with a smile. They actually JOG back and forth between runs of stuff when they aren't carrying anything. I'm sure in the long run this didn't really save much time, but the attitude is there and I simply felt like I had gotten fantastic service during the entire thing. My wife and I moved from Humboldt Park to Evergreen Park the last weekend in May 2015. Although we did a lot of prep work getting ready for the move we had no idea what we were getting in to with Movetastic. These guys just KILLED it!!! (in a good way) We had been living in our old place for 3 years in which time we got married, inherited a bunch of family stuff and bought a new massive couch. Movetastic sent out 4 guys Marco, Michael, Kelvin, and Jimmy. (which is mandatory when moving a piano is involved) and these guys had our whole 2 bedroom storefront apartment packed in their truck in like 2.25 hours! Just AMAZING! They are overly courteous asking us every time they needed to use the washroom and plug in their phones for a quick charge. HERE ARE THE KEY FACTORS TO MY FIRST EVER 5 STAR YELP REVIEW: -They communicate well, not only to you but more importantly to each other -They go the distance in handling your items. Things we never would have thought to wrap got wrapped. Blankets on everything. Not one thing was broken in our move -Hustle. They have it. I don't know if Movetastic makes these guys do fitness tests or time trials before they get hired but these guys move quickly. -They know their audience. My wife and I are really laid back and let them play their music of choice while loading up. When it came to unloading our mothers were already at our new home helping us clean. We told them to jam some music and they choose not to probably not to offend. We did not feel it was necessary but at the same time acknowledged the respectfulness of their decision. And finally.. our piano dilemma. After trying for 30+ mins they couldn't get my grandmothers upright piano through either door at our new home. Finally my wife said "forget it, we'll put it in the garage and sell it" Here was their perfect opportunity to call it quits on a fairly large and heavy object but they didn't.. they choose to rethink and plot their moves and used "give up" as motivation. Sure enough not even 5 mins after she said that did they not only get it in but didn't so much as scratch a wall... then proceeded to high 5 each out saying things like "you gotta think Movetastic" & "That's Movetastic" Marco, Michael, Kelvin, and Jimmy all have serious pride in what they do and where they work. Kudos to all 4 of them! We did tip these guys, we provided them with bottled water and electrolytes non stop and bought them pizza for lunch. They were very appreciative. We have never used movers before but have heard horror stories of those who have. If you are even thinking about movers, don't even waste your time looking any further. I wish I used The Professionals Moving instead. I had a great experience with them last move. The Move-Tastic guys showed up and did nothing more than an OK job. What really brought down the rating is that they broke my lamp - which I wouldn't have cared much but they decided to glue it together and not tell me about it. I found out about it because I ended up with glue all over my hand when I tried to put the light bulb back in!!! Also a vintage wall clock had its minute/second hands broken. I ended up having to throw it out as it's now useless. Again, broken items happen during a move but glueing it together without telling the owner is just down right shady and completely dishonest. I will never use them again or recommend to friends after what happened. read more

I used this highly recommended moving company with disastrous results. After explaining that I had several Antique Tortoise Shell collections as well as Fine Art, I had a disastrous experience. Parts to my TREADMILL WERE LOST, and my calls were never returned. In fact I called again this week, and still haven't received a returned call from my Project Manager Austin, or the head of the company, "Pete". well, I went with these guys because I thought I had gone with them before... turns out I have a bad memory and it was another moving company. The move was very expensive and took all day. Based on my past experience with a moving company, I expected a much more efficient, fast, and affordable move. They had 6 guys and it took approximately 8 hours to move from my 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom. Not to mention my husband had moved much of the smaller items prior to the move. They were very careful with my things and very polite. I just didn't get what I expected and paid at least 3 to 4 times more than what I had intended. Unfortunately, I have to move again because the neighbors complain about our toddler playing with his toys, and they are making our lives miserable (to be fair, they probably think the same thing about us). It's rare that I write a review for a business I've never actually used. I booked my move with Move-Tastic and they were fantastic -- responsive over email (rare for a mover!), efficient, friendly and so easy to work with. In the nearly four years I've lived in Chicago, Move-Tastic! (even in its former incarnation as Smooth Moves) has moved my possessions four times. Whether it was from Lakeview to UK Village, Humboldt to Bridgeport, or Bridgeport to Wicker Park, I've never stressed once about anything other than unpacking. I've had help from Austin, two guys named Tommy, Ironman Pete, and this tall dude called Timecube - and every time it was nothing but hustle. These guys are not your typical foot-and-knuckle-dragging-movers; not only do they know what they're doing, but they're fit, enjoy the work and never, ever grumble. I'm just here to reiterate what everyone else has said about this company! WOW! Seriously! I wish all businesses had service like this. Maybe Move-tastic should tour the country teaching people how to value their customers. I may not be the worst person to move, but I'm probably close to it. I tried so hard this time to be ready and on-time, so I started early. I think in the process, I developed some kind of OCD, because I decided that it would be a good idea to make a spreadsheet that listed every item of every box. This is probably only a good idea if you start like a year in advance. Unfortunately, I did not, and I applied my geniously laborous system to half my stuff until I started panicking. I had everything packed except my bedroom and kitchen when Move-tastic! arrived. (I honestly thought I'd have all that done by the next day and do it myself, no sweat. WTH) They loaded up everything with time to spare. They were super friendly, hilarious, and professional. It was a great time! I sent them on their way and got back to packing. Sunday morning came and I realized how much my kitchen and bedroom actually held. ^@$%&$%&!!!! I was supposed to drive to California at 10am, and it was going on 1030. Panicked, I called and talked to Simon. He wasn't sure if he could find anyone, but about an hour later, Pete called me and said he'd see me at 2:00pm. It was one of those television moments, where it felt like the heavens opened up, light came from the sky, and angels started singing. I knew everything was going to be okay. Pete and I seriously loaded the truck in less than an hour. WHAT! No, really! SERIOUSLY. I was dumbfounded. The moral of this story is that you should pack like a maniac and be ready the day of your move. I got super lucky that Pete was free, but you may not be so fortunate! The good news is that I made it safe and sound to San Francisco, and there were no casualties amongst my belongings, despite driving up and down snowy mountains, and through windy prairie plains. My stuff did not move! A+ packing! The bad news is that Move-tastic is ONLY in Chicago, and I have no idea how I'm going to move all of my stuff out of storage once I find an apartment. I'm disappointed to have to update this review after our recent experience moving with Move-Tastic again. Despite having had two relatively smooth moves previously, I would not use them again. Although I completed the online inventory of all of the items in our home, Move-Tastic did not send enough people to complete the job in the estimated time frame. It was a job that required four people, and the leader of our three-man crew told us as much. He even volunteered that the company had tried to send a fourth person at the last minute, but that they could not find a truck that would seat four guys, so the company decided to just stick with three. The crew was super nice and professional, but being down one person (along with the fact that our air conditioning went out the night before we moved) definitely put a damper on the day. As a result, the move took an hour longer than estimated - not a huge deal for an all-day move, but it did end up costing more. We were disappointed to see how many of our items were damaged due to hurried loading, including a delicate bookshelf and a desk. Also, the hardwood floors in our new home were deeply scratched by the movers, likely exhausted after a long day, pushing heavy items instead of picking up and carrying them. I'm hoping this move is our last for a while, but if we move again anytime soon, I'm looking elsewhere for a company that will put a full crew on the job. read more

I've used hear guys three times. The first two times, they were AWESOME. They were fast, efficient, friendly, careful, and managed to work through some very tricky stairwells and hallways with ease. That was back in '09 and '10, and I was moving within the city. For my last move (out of Chicago), there was no question who I was calling: Movetastic. Since I had used this company before, I felt totally confident they'd show up on time and take care of all our belongings, packing our truck carefully as we were about to make the long trek across the country to our new home. This was already a hugely stressful move, so I wanted to go with a moving company that was tried and true. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with this last move. I scheduled them for 8am. At 7:30am, someone called me to confirm they had a crew ready for 9am, after which I corrected them to 8am. They assured me they'd be there on time, as planned. At 8:20am, I called. It rang once, and then went to voicemail. We know what that means = declined call. Not okay. At 8:25am, I tried again, and one of the movers immediately picked up and before I could say hello, began saying that traffic was bad and they'd be there in 30 minutes... Which was basically 9am. Once they arrived, they worked quickly. We had already pre-packed and sorted everything, stacking boxes according to weight and fragility, and labeling them as such to make it easier to move and arrange in the truck. I didn't watch them load all of the boxes into the truck as they appeared to have it under control, and we did all the work of arranging everything anyway. They finished, we paid and tipped, and went on our way. When we arrived at our destination after a 24+ hour drive, I was really irritated to find that our pre-work was a waste. Fragile boxes were stacked on the bottom of the pile. Heavy boxes sat atop lighter boxes, crushing them along the way. What's the point of labeling something as "fragile" or "heavy" if you're not even going to pay attention? We had dishes, vinyl records, and glasses in boxes that were buckling from the weight piled on top of them. So, maybe we just got the B-team this time since it was early on a Tuesday. Who knows. The rest of the ratings and reviews here are great and sound like what I would have said had I written this back in 2010, but I was so disappointed this time around that I had to say something. read more

I hate moving. Everybody hates moving. Moving sucks big fat hairy donkey balls. Are we all agreed on this point? Good. That said, these guys will improve your moving experience, guaranteed. They are there to work, and work HARD. They see moving your stuff as a challenge: how to work out as hard and fast as they can while taking immaculate care of your ratty old furniture and chipped plates. They crack jokes, they are as polite as pie, they are really smart, and they are VERY easy on the eyes. I don't know if that's in their job requirements, but every one of my 6-man crew had a great smile and biceps that didn't quit. Thanks to crew chief Keith and his men (Joe, Marcus, Kelvit, Danny, and Jahi), our estimated 8-hour move melted down to 4 hours. They flew up and down two flights of stairs like they weren't even there. All my oddball requests were met with cheerful agreement and immediate attention. (I moved a freakin' GARDEN... boxes, dirt, plants, tools, everything, and they didn't even blink!) I was going to go with another mover that a friend had recommended, but they only took cash... a big fat juicy red flag in the world of movers. These folks take credit cards or whatever you have, they are wonderful communicators, they made a thorough estimate, and they'll turn a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day into something tolerable and maybe, just maybe... a little bit fun. read more

Moving was stressing us out, and of course all our friends were mysteriously busy come moving day, so we called up Move-tastic. With only 2 days notice, they were able to send out the best. 3 minutes early, two of the smiliest people I have ever met show up at my door and are nicer to me than my own grandma. DONT GO TO CRAIGSLIST AND FIND CHEAP MOVERS. I HAVE TRIED THAT, AND IT COSTED ME A LOT MORE THAN USING MOVE-TASTIC. Move-tastic! was the best rated business of all businesses in Chicago on Yelp last year. Better than your favorite restaurant, your favorite bar, your favortie salon, shop.... everything. I am thrilled to see that someone just does the impossible - starts a moving company with a positive attitude. Everybody hates to move, but Move-tastic! for sure made it a lot better. Me and my girlfriend was quoted on $450 dollars, and 4 hours with 3 guys. They did it in 2 hours and 15 mintues. We saved $200 from the quote. Our neighbors, with an identical apartmemt, who used Midway moved the same stuff and almost the same distance from their last apartment spent $750 (Yes, 3 times more). In those 2 hours and 15 mintues, we signed paperwork (they are licensed), they wrapped up everything that needed extra care, they moved out a 1 bedroom, drove over to our new apartment and unloaded everything. Thats effective! We had Sal and his crew to help us. They were phenomenal, so ask if they are available. They were really nice, and very careful with our stuff, and most importantly - they were super fast. We got lucky and got them the same day because of a cancellation, but rumors say that you should call in a little earlier than that. If there was any way I could give more than five stars - I would. read more

Another really great moving experience with Move-tastic! This was my second time using their services, and it was, once again, easy and secure and came in well below the estimate. I moved cross-country using a shipping container, which the cargo company wouldn't deliver to my address (this is a Chicago thing?), so I needed movers to get stuff from my apartment to the shipping facility. Which meant instead of being able to check that things fit in the container immediately I had to get them on a truck first and just hope that my movers could make everything fit in a 6x7x8 foot container (I did some preliminary staging, but there was still a fair amount of guesswork). My husband and I moved for the first time in 8 years, so we were out of practice when it came to moving. Although the cost of movers might cause some sticker shock, Move-Tastic! was worth every penny. We had to get moved out of our old place and all of our belongings had to be stored overnight. Move-Tastic! did a wonderful job wrapping an loading all of our belongings. They were thorough, but not slow...very efficient! Our new home had a lot of stairs and narrow hallways and they moved around unlike anything I had ever seen. They were all courteous and professional. The only thing negative I have to say, is they put our bed back together wrong...but it's a tricky bed and I didn't even expect them to do it in the first place. We will definitely use Move-Tastic! on our next move, if we hadn't used them I am sure my husband and I would be heading for divorce! read more

They beat my online quote almost by 50%. It could have been attributed to my impeccable packing skills no doubt. I picked Movetastic for my move based on the astounding number of excellent reviews here on Yelp. Their online estimating tool was grrreat and I totally appreciated the humor on it -- "Nacho cheese dispenser", "Husband / wife (just kidding!)". They quoted me at 3-4 hours with 2 guys. They then called and recommended they send 3 guys and that it would likely be cheaper. I was leary but went with it. And they were totally right! My move was done in an hour and a half and cost about half of my original quote!! My three movers were extremely speedy and professional. They were literally running to grab more boxes! They disassembled and reassembled my platform bed frame, wrapped all my large breakables (flatscreen, lamps, mirrors). They take checks but prefer cash. Make sure to get extra cash to tip your movers and have some cold bottled water on hand. Another reviewer suggested popsicles too -- brilliant! After living in a heap of moving boxes for weeks, I was honestly ready to name my first born after my movers when they finished so pleasant/efficiently, but they likely prefer the popsicles. I could continue with this essay about how fantastic they were but it's pretty much been covered by the others reviewers. Moral of my rambling? Use Move-tastic!!!! read more

Since my move to Chicago, I have moved at least once a year. Each time, my parents came to help. My parents didn't come to help this time...guess that means I'm officially an adult. Right? So, I weighed my options. I could either torture my boyfriend and friends to help me move and drive the truck (there is no way I'm driving) or, well, I could torture my boyfriend and friends. Oh wait! I could hire movers. I was a bit skeptical looking for movers at first, but then I Yelped and settled on what seemed like the best in the business--Move-tastic! I went through their online form--suuuuper easy--and got a response within a day! I appreciated that their form was really specific as to listing what I had to move instead of me having to think back to how many things I needed to pack away. And that was that..I didn't need to check back with them for anything after, but I knew that I could if I wanted..because they were on gChat. :) The week of my move, they called to confirm my information, see if there were any changes, etc. Awesome. Then the morning of, about an hour before the scheduled move, I got a call from them telling me when they'd get there, etc. Super awesome. My movers were super cool [shout out to Tugboat and Kevin!!] and speedy. They answered any questions I had and warned me of anything that didn't look like it was going to make it (I was moving from a UHaul storage unit). Oh! And they were under the estimate! When I sent in the request, I got an estimate for 3 hours with 2 guys, but they made it just under 2 hours, giving me more time to unpack..which I didn't really do. Although I've never used another moving service, the pricing seemed extremely fair for me. The amount of stress, sweat, etc. they saved me was 100% worth it. They were flexible enough to shift their schedule when we unexpectedly came in over 4 hours late. I was incredibly impressed with my Move-tastic guys! I chose them because of their wonderful reviews on here, and all the reviews are right. I have a ton of breakables and I'm a taxidermy collector, so I let them know off the bat that they needed to be careful. They were incredibly efficient... finished my move earlier than the quoted time, which meant less money than the quote. There was one small casualty with this particle-board shelf thing I had. It was something cheap from target and I'm not surprised it would break on the way down 4 flights of stairs (no elevator!). While the loss wasn't too important for me, they were incredibly nice and professional about dealing with the break. They didn't just shove my stuff in the truck and pretend it didn't happen, but made sure I knew and that everything was ok. I tipped the guys like 40% because I had already budgeted out what they quoted me and then some, and I was so impressed with their speed, tetris skills and diplomacy. read more

We just moved this weekend from Lakeview to Wicker Park, and Movetastic is the only moving company I would use again and rec to friends and family. First, they called and were an hour early. That was awesome news given we were all set to go! They gave us a 30 min window to get from where we were back to our old place to meet them. Once they got there we did a quick walk through and they were off! Took them an hour to get everything loaded. Once they got to our new place, they had three huge flights of stairs to go up, but man, they were faster than at the old apartment on the first floor. We had been given an estimate of 5 hours at $600. Well worth it we thought. Well, because Mike and his 2 man crew were so fast, it ended up being 2 hours at $300. Best money I've ever spent. I'm not a girl who uses the word literally lightly. So when I tell you that I moved on literally the hottest day of the summer, on literally the longest heat wave in years, on what they were predicting to be literally the hottest day ever...well... My crew was great. Evan, Anthony and Lionel were polite and friendly, got down to business right away, and took exactly as much time as they predicted. I have NEVER had a move go so smoothly in my life! I have moved many times and this was the easiest, most carefree relocation ever. Not only were the movers really nice guys, but they actually did run from the truck to my place, between loads. They were careful with my stuff and even helped me shift it around my new home. I cannot say enough good things about Movetastic. Heck they came in $100 under quote . . . so that made for a sweet tip for them! And they REALLY deserved it. Ok, yo, check it out. I've used these muthafuckahs for a couple of moves now and they always own! When 3 skinny kids show up in a truck do not fret for they are truly ace and will move your shit without breakin a sweat. Totally and completely polite (almost too much), pleasant and positive. They will wrap your stuff up if necessary and are very carefull to avoid damaging anything in the apartment. So far they always call a few hours before the scheduled appointment to ask if it's ok to come early (yes!) and then finish early. I suspect they 'Scotty' the estimate but that's fine by me because the cost is always reasonable. Be sure to supply water/Gatorade and have cash on hand for a healthy tip cuz they will completely deserve it. Moving always sucks but they make it so much less so. Ok, let's see...where do I begin? I just used Movetastic this past saturday (Aug 1). Found them on yelp and based on the overload of 5 stars and the description that they actually RUN between loads, I thought I have to use this company. This was purely a last minute decision. After my initial contact, my fiance and I had a temporary lapse in sanity and thought, well if we cant find movers to move us in the morning, we'll do it ourselves. After some phone tag btwn myself and Movetastic, Angie (scheduler/life saver) called on saturday to apologize that we kept missing eachother. I asked her literally at about 12:30 if they had any spare hands, she checked with the available teams, and indeed they did. I got a call from my new best friends, Austin and Daniel in about 5 minutes. They were finishing up one job, wanted to have a brief lunch, and would be at my new place in 2 hours. They kept in touch and were there as they said they would be. Ladies and gentleman this was truly something to watch. I sat in the living room, directing boxes, furniture, food, booze, books, clothes, etc. And, I was sitting not just b/c I was exhausted, but b/c I needed to have some space to marvel at how hard these guys worked. They run, they move with lightning speed, and they're nice/funny while doing it. (I dont even need to mention that they had cool hair). I am sure that there are other dependable movers in the city, BUT if you're looking to support a very smart, upstart company with dedicated and hard working employees, please do go with Movetastic. I HIGHLY recommend them. They are conscientious with your goods, very fast, seem to enjoy the intense cardio. They finished all of my stuff in one hour. I had a great experience with Movetastic and would recommend them to anyone making a move, whether it's two blocks away, or two cities away. The initial quote turned out to be way more than what the actual cost to me was. I kind of figured this ahead of time, based on their comment of wanting to be as conservative as possible. The two guys and their truck showed up early, and started getting to work immediately. Other yelpers have commented on how the movers literally run from the truck to your place, and they're not kidding. They were sprinting back from loading boxes onto the elevator to my unit. I had one item that was slightly damaged in the move process, but the guys worked out a discount on the move price due to this. The guys also apologized multiple times for the damage as they take pride in being excellent movers. Overall, these guys are great and making your move an efficient and quick one. They do care about their customer and are not just hustling to get to the next move. A great experience and recommended for anyone in the Chicago area. read more

We LOVE these guys ... and gal (Angie). We have nothing but AWESOME things to say about their service from booking to moving. They are professional, prompt, fast, courteous, caring, strong, reliable, always thinking, and just the freaking nicest people ever. They really protect and care about your belongings. I found them from a neighbor that was moving in. The guy that used their service also had tonnes of good things to say about them as well. I was 5 months pregnant when we moved and they just made our moving experience so easy and less stressful. We had heavy furniture and a huge glass dining table. They helped to wrap and move it with extra care. I will definitely be using them again if/when we move. I've used 3 other moving companies in the past before coming to know about this company, and nothing compares to these guys.. not even close.. We were happy to be using move-tastic again after so many years. They guys were still very friendly and I really enjoyed working with them. My problem is that they used a tiny bit of plastic wrap on our couch when we hadn't bothered (it was in storage) and because of that, I had to pay $50 for using their equipment. I feel they should have asked us if we wanted them to use their materials. I also noticed a pretty steep hike in their truck usage fee. When we used them several years ago, they charged $50, now it's $110 which really makes the whole move that much more expensive. It makes it so that for their two hour minimum you are paying for three hours. Our last move with them was very similar and only cost us under $400 which included a $20 for each of the three guys there. This move cost almost $600! Overall, we will be shopping around a lot more next time we need movers and it will be hard to recommend them to others knowing how much more expensive it's going to be for them. read more
