Blueberry Pancakes Latte

Delicious reasonably priced coffee in a cute little corner. Perfect for meeting with friends or studying. Service was kind and quick

Choconana and ube

I love ube and I'm pleased that this isn't a very sugary drink. The choconana has loads of cinnamon flavor. Place didn't have any pastries. They outdoor seating. Pet friendly.

Great coffee, great service, and great atmosphere. I ordered two lattes because the menu is too amazing. I wanted to order one of everything on the menu but I can't do that in one trip. I went with a hot blueberry pancake latte and an iced campfire latte. The campfire latte is for tomorrow so, the barista suggested doing no ice to stop it from watering down my drink.

Matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla
Grace C.

The vibes are are great I love the interior of the space and when I heard that their matcha was upgraded I had to give it a try. I ordered a regular size iced matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup, total with tip it was $9 and some change. It was ok, the vanilla slightly overpowered the matcha so it wasn't as strong as I would like to to be. And for the price I don't think it was worth it. It's significantly better than it used to be though. This would be a good matcha for someone who likes a lighter matcha flavor/strength. I would stick to getting coffee here and skip the matcha. Service was great though everyone is very friendly! The matcha itself for me was 3 stars but if I had gotten a coffee it would probably have been 4 stars.

Small cramp not HC accessible front corner entry (HC access at side entry). Might have to stay outside to get your turn when line gets long. Small but friendly atmosphere coffee shop. More space available at outside patio seating. Got my hot coffee. Nothing great but still nice and enjoyable. I liked the place for quiet and comfortable atmosphere until a loud loud noise came out of nowhere and realized it was from a commercial passenger plane that just passed by over. Not counting out stopping by when in the area again.

The service was a 10/10!! They were so nice and helpful for my first time! It was so cute and they have an inside and outside area! The photos are from the outside patio area!! The coffee was good!

Chocolate croissant

Got the iced matcha latte and my bf got one bra-zillion coconuts cold brew and a chocolate croissant. The matcha latte was sweet and had just enough caffeine for me to enjoy the San Diego Zoo nearby. My bf's cold brew was very strong and had a hint of coconut! The service was super friendly and they even toasted the croissant for us. Unfortunately they were out of a couple of items when we visited last Thursday. However I really loved my matcha latte and toasted croissant!

Creme Brle Latte
Cassie M.

We were excited to see such a unique menu of fun coffee drinks and came all the way here just to find out they were out of literally more than half of their menu items at 8am. We ended up opting for the regular crème brûlée latte and the coconuts cold brew, both of which were just okay. Unfortunately, considering the less than friendly service and mediocre coffee at a higher price point, I would not recommend this place.

Creme brûlée latte

Giving this a 4 star because I haven't tried everything on the menu just yet but it's been so so yummy every time I go! My favorite is the creme brûlée latte. They have 3 different variations. I will suggest going earlier in the day as sometimes they do run out of the other items. It's a nice neighborhood to walk so sometimes I buy coffee and walk around for a bit. Inside, the vibe is pretty chill. Everyone does their own thing. Mostly working. There are a lot of plants so it's very pretty. The music is also pretty calm and vibey. Lastly, the employees are really nice and we know that always adds to the good coffee experience.

Blueberry Pancake Latte

My favorite drink of all of San Diego! The blueberry pancake latte was such an incredible sip--the blueberry flavor accentuated the coffee flavor and didn't overpower it! Such a good combination of a creamy and subtly sweet latte. My absolute favorite coffee I've tried in SD! The space itself was an open concept--super cool to experience & the baristas were so kind!

Pastry
Chy P.

Loved the pastry here. I honestly forgot exactly what it was, but I think it was an ube muffin topped with cheddar cheese. It was really unique and something I'd come back for on its own. The drinks were good, and the barista who helped us with suggestions was knowledgeable and even gave our dog a pup cup, which was a nice touch. There's also plenty of seating, which makes it a comfortable spot to hang out. They take pride in being a Filipino-owned cafe, and I love that. A lot of their menu items have Filipino influence, which makes the experience feel intentional and special.

A hidden gem that instantly captures the heart and senses of community and culture! This is more than just a coffee shop it's a celebration of Filipino American culture in every detail. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a refined yet welcoming ambiance. The design flows beautifully from the elegant indoor space to the breezy, comfortable outdoor patio. It gets packed quickly and it's easy to see why. The menu is a feast for the curious. I was tempted to try everything, from their thoughtfully crafted drinks to the freshly made pastries that proudly showcase Filipino flavors. Service was flawless professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. It elevated the entire experience. Whether you're craving a taste of home or discovering Filipino coffee culture for the first time, this place is a must-visit. It's not just coffee it's connection, culture, and comfort in a cup.

Maggie O.

This location is one of the smaller ones but the quality and taste of the drinks are still the same! I came here on a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't much of a line. I decided to try something new that I have not had before. Service was great and the cashier was knowledgeable. Blueberry Matcha Latte - 10/10, the blueberry is not too overpowering and the Matcha taste it there. Not too sweet either, overall so good! Will definitely continue to come here and try out different drinks :)

And most of the ones I have tried does not compare to moms cooking. Because of mom's health she no longer cooks.... Husband was so kind listening to my food cravings and doing research, he found this place. First, this place is located in strip mall mostly made of food stops. Secondly and importantly, the parking is no joke! Come early and watch where you park. The parking is not plenty and the area is narrow, making it a challenge to see when pulling in or out of a parking space. When you get out of your car your sensory will be on overload on the aromas that seem to hook you by the nostrils! You walk in the restaurant and you will see the tables most likely all taken. How it works is you walk up to food counter and select what items you want. They offer different platter options. It was a lot going on up the food menu on the wall above the staff. Behind the counter it is well staffed so even though the line may be long it moves pretty quickly. Husband and I decided to go with a two item platter. My platter I choose half and half (rice and noodles) . My two items were chicken adobo and diniguan. We got an order of lumpia too. I found the chicken adobo to be pretty good! The chicken portion was pretty good. With chicken adobo there seems never to be enough of the sauce to saturate the rice. The diniguan to my surprise passed the test! It was tasty and had the right balance of flavors! I saved half to share with mom and she liked just as well. A plus for us is they serve seltzer (soda water)! They do have a self serve water station off to the side. The lumpia was good, but I probably would try one of the skewers next time. I forgot to mention that we had to ask to share a space at a table with another couple as there were no more open tables. They gladly shared. There are not outdoor seating. I would definitely visit this spot again.

There was plenty of seating but it's first come first serve. The parking lot was chaotic--no surprise there but we were able to snag a spot. Overall, this is a great turo-turo spot! I'd come back.

Hubby said and I quote "this is literally the best thing I've ever had in my life!" Got the Taiwanese chicken and it just melt in your mouth like butter. The basil aioli accompanied with this appetizer was just perfection. How do they come up with this? Wagyu corned beef fried rice was also good but definitely not the star of the show! Crispy potatoes were definitely a favorite and that sweet Chinese sausage made it ten times better. Short rib kare kare was so tender. The flavor I wasn't really feeling, but it was still good! The star of the show was definitely the pork tomahawk tocino. So tender, so flavorful! Just when you thought they couldn't get any better. I saw that Lia's was going to be parked outside a coffee shop I love so I was excited for lumpia and my caffeine fix in one go. The truck was supposed to open at 11 but when we arrived at noon, they were just opening up. Obviously not ideal that they were an hour late but that meant we were 4th in line. We ordered the pork sisig and adobo lumpia and were told that it would be 20-25 minutes. Totally get that they're hand-rolled to order and that it's only one person. But if we're the 4th order, then you should have a decent idea of how long it's going to take you to prep and serve to set expectations accordingly. Over an hour later we got our food which was great - crispy and well filled. The garlic sauce was nice and punchy. The adobo was a little bland and didn't make a lot of sense with the sweet chili sauce. I think a traditional vinegar, garlic, and pepper dip would have been more true to the OG flavor. I'd rather be told it'll be an hour and then have it ready sooner if that manages to happen, but over-promising on the wait time is just a bummer. I'm not sure if I'd try Lia's again.

The restaurant is located in a busier area with other restaurants and businesses nearby, but once you walk in, it has a really chill and welcoming vibe.
