Came here with a friend on a weekend morning to enjoy some matcha. The inside is small and only has a couple of tables. There is more seating outside. If only I figured out how to pay for street parking in the moment, then I would have stayed and got some work done inside. If you like a stronger matcha flavor but still has the right amount of sweetness, it's perfect. The matcha is very well blended in their matcha cream. It is pricey at $9.42 with tax but matcha drinks are usually pricey. You have to wait a bit for your drinks because it's usually pretty busy. I went near closing time and there were still a bunch of people. It's a small shop with limited seating inside and more seating outside. Parking is horrible here because it's in downtown. I really wanted to love this place. I live right around the corner and their coconut matcha is genuinely good, so I was ready to become a regular. But today killed it for me. I placed a mobile order and walked in just as I submitted it. A drink gets put down with no name called, nothing. It had pink foam. I stood there for 25 minutes on a slow Wednesday morning while people who ordered after me got their drinks first. Not one person checked in on me. I finally had to go up and ask what was going on. Turns out the drink sitting there WAS mine, the vanilla foam just comes out pink, which I didn't know. Cool, fine. But when I mentioned that I had been standing there for 25 minutes with no one saying a word to me, I got a blank stare. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. It's a slow day. There is no excuse for zero hospitality. If you put a drink down, call the name. If someone's been standing in your cafe for 25 minutes, check on them. That's it. That's the whole ask.
