After an evening stroll on the Sundial bridge, we decided to stop in at Mosaic and grab a small bite and some cocktails. We were seated right away inside but we asked if we could sit out on the back patio. It was no problem. Our server was helpful and friendly and assured us with our beverage choices. We had old fashioned with Bulleit Rye. They were perfect. We also ordered a Classic Pizza which was just the right amount since we had a big lunch. We returned the next morning for an omelette, breakfast burrito and coffee. We had excellent service and enjoyed dining inside the cozy space.

Trendy little spot with beautiful ambiance! The bartender Matt was very welcoming and provided exceptional service to everyone sitting at the bar top. It was a busy Saturday night but he handled it with ease and such grace that made it extra inviting! Definitely stop by if you're in Redding, even if it's just to grab a quick drink at the bar.

A wonderful stop in Redding--warm atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service! We visited Mosaic at the end of October while traveling and staying at the Sheraton right next door, which we also really enjoyed. It was a beautiful fall day, and the restaurant matched the mood perfectly: a welcoming fireplace, beautiful woodwork, and lovely lighting. We were seated in the bar area and were very comfortable. For dinner, I had the elk meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and a lovely Cabernet sauce. The potatoes had just the right touch of garlic, subtle enough that you could still have a conversation afterward! Everything was delicious. We also came for breakfast, when I enjoyed a garden omelet. The service stood out throughout both visits. From the hostess to the waitstaff and kitchen, everyone was welcoming and attentive, and our meals arrived without a long wait. An added bonus was walking along the river near the Sundial Bridge, where we spotted three bucks and several does. With hunting season underway, they seemed to have picked a smart place to hang out. After ordering the elk meatloaf, I thought it best to keep my dinner choice to myself. A great place to relax and enjoy a meal while traveling through Redding. We'd happily return!

Easy booking for a large party of ~8 through Open Table, and they tucked us in a small corner with a beautiful chandelier. Our server recommended adding the extra $5 for rocket top (arugula) for their stone oven pizzas with white sauce to help cut the fattiness from the cream, and I definitely agree it was the perfect addition to my coworker's house special order. The elk meatloaf was so pleasing to look at with its topping of micro greens, and also tasted great. I was told that elk is much more tender than beef, so it's a great choice if you want to try a new type of protein. My taste buds could not tell that difference, and I know I was happy to eat the meatloaf with the side of mashed potatoes and gravy. And last but not least - the dessert cakes were beautiful! Our table shared both cakes and our verdict was split. Chocolate lovers - go for the Chocolate Cake, and tart berry lovers - order the Olive Oil Cake.

Mosaic is a nice restaurant in the heart of Turtle Bay Exploration Park. We dined there on a very busy Saturday night. The ambiance is pleasant and upscale. We enjoyed the Mosaic Burger with rosemary fries, the OG Chicken and Old Fashioned cocktails. Then we headed over just steps away to the Glowing Wild lantern show across the Sundial Bridge. For convenience and a good meal Mosaic is hard to beat on your visit to Turtle Bay.

4.5 star rounded up. The Pan seared halibut, coconut cilantro jasmine rice. coconut cream sauce, plantains, micro cilantro is pretty darn good. The brunch is average. Mosaic burger also good/average. Service has been good on the multiple occasions that I've been there. Maybe a little slow on the bussing. Ambiance is cool. Attached to the Sheraton. Nice private speaking rooms for private events with projectors, etc. The restaurant is right next to the Turtle Park and trailhead for the Sundial Bridge.

Brazilian brisket pizza!! Super delicious... hopefully they are a little more generous with your brisket!!

Super cute restaurant inside Turtle Bay!! They have nice outdoor seating as well! We decided to sit inside since it was a little warm today! Service was great! I believe her name was Jessica...she was not only our server, she was also the bartender for other guests! Food was super delicious! The fries were a must!!! My faughter added Parmesan and it was that much better!! We also got their Brazilian brisket pizza that was so delicious! I really don't think they put enough meat...each piece only had a sliver of meat, but other than that it was so good! We got the peppers ok the side which was great! We really enjoyed it here...hope you do as well!

Went there twice while staying nearby hotel for long-weekend trip to Lassen National Park. The whole vibe of the place mirror the upward feeling of the city and every staff looks joyfully full of hopes. Really like led the steak salad and fried sea bass, fresh and juicy even though I ordered the steak as well done. The only unexpected is the veggies along with the salmon seem dried out for a while.

Food was delicious. Service was really good and the cocktails were top notch. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice and it was relaxing to be in. Would recommend.

We came here on a weekend day in the late afternoon. There was one large party outside and like 3-4 smaller tables outside. The service was very slow. It took about 10-15 minutes for someone to take our order. Then it took another 20-30 minutes for us to get our food. At one point, I realized our plate of salmon was just sitting there. When one of the cooks in the back asked one of the waiters to help with the effort, she ignored him and continued wiping the utensils. That was pretty annoying. Our actual waiter on the other hand was helping with taking stock of things and it just seemed like there was not enough staff. When the pizza was supposed to take another 5 minutes after we had gotten our salmon plate, we told them we had waited almost 40 minutes and no longer wanted the pizza. They definitely can work on the logistics of this place better. Sadly the salmon was delicious but the experience and service left a sour taste.

The convenience of having this place close to the hotel is an absolute selling point but have come to realize that people come here even if they aren't staying at the hotel. The food is good and the service is great. The restaurant is just a very nice place to grab a bite and a drink.

I was in town for a conference and brought my staff here for lunch to show my appreciation for all their hard work. The place is beautifully decorated and it matches the ambiance that complements Turtle Bay Museum. I absolutely enjoyed my beef carpaccio, pomegranate spritz and ended the afternoon with their Whiskey Cake was the perfect way to end our meal.

Arrived on a Wednesday evening at 6:30pm, with only 2 other small tables occupied. We were greeted by the chef upon entry, and promptly asked to place our orders at the counter, then seat ourselves. We ordered 3 pizzas for the 3 of us and all were devoured; Salsicca (not pictured since it came out first and I forgot a picture), Margherita and the Bianca. We also ordered 2 on tap IPAs and a bottled Coke. We enjoyed the pizzas, great dough with a wonderfully flame fired taste, but the toppings left something to be desired. The Bianca could use something fresh like some lemon slices and definitely more basil, as I got one leaf per slice. Staff was friendly, dining area was clean and we'd definitely return again if passing through Redding. As a pizza snob, it's not the best I've ever had, but definitely a tasty pizza and worth a try. Kudos to the chef who mentioned he started on an Ooni. Quite the progression! As we were finishing our meal around 7:15p, I overheard them turn a customer away, as they had sold out of dough. Come early if you don't want to risk it for the night.

One of them was supposed to be pepperoni and chicken. Instead, it arrived with ginger and garlic, an odd and completely off-putting combo for a pizza. I double-checked the online order and realized the mistake was mine. I had accidentally selected the wrong toppings. I owned that. I wasn't trying to scam anyone or dodge responsibility. But when I asked if they could remake the pizza or offer a partial refund, they flat-out refused. No empathy. No flexibility. Just a cold "no." Not even a gesture of goodwill like a discount on a future order or a small credit. I wasn't asking for the world, just a little understanding. And that's where this place failed miserably. Let me be clear: I understand that restaurants aren't obligated to fix customer mistakes. But good businesses choose to do the right thing anyway. They recognize that $25 isn't worth losing a loyal customer. They understand that how you treat people in moments like this defines your brand far more than the food ever could. I told them I'd be doing a chargeback and never ordering again. Not because of the pizza, but because of the way they handled the situation. If I owned a restaurant, I'd remake that pizza in a heartbeat. Not because I had to, but because I'd want that customer to come back. That's how you build trust. That's how you build legacy. So here's my warning to anyone considering this place: if you ever have an issue, whether it's your fault or theirs, don't expect compassion. Don't expect accountability. And don't expect them to care about your experience once they've got your money. This wasn't just bad service. It was a missed opportunity to do right by someone who was honest, respectful, and willing to pay for quality. They chose short-term profit over long-term reputation. And that says everything. Until they rectify this, I will no longer be their customer again, sadly, in a small town like this, where customer loyalty is everything. That kind of disregard doesn't just lose a sale. It loses trust. And once that's gone, it's hard to earn back.
