It's been like 3 years since I've been to this Pizza Factory location in Redding. I was in town visiting a friend and we decided to give pizza Factory a try. I know that have a buffet, and that sounded like the way to go, cause for one thing you get the choice of several different pizzas and you don't have to wait to order and then have it cook, you just go right up to the buffet and load up and enjoy. It's good if you're a little short on time as well. When I'm working on location with my crew and we need lunch, buffets are the way to go so we don't spend 1 1/2 hrs for lunch. Inside is nice and neat, we're near the first ones to arrive just after 11 am. The buffet is $13.50 plus tax and includes a refillable drink. It runs till 2pm I think. The pizzas are hot and fresh, that why you go to buffets near opening! I love the crust here at Pizza Factory. Most all Pizza Factories are consistent no matter what town I go. Actually great pizza at a decent price point. In a sketch part of town/same parking lot as a halfway house/rehab motel. When I parked to get my pizza, there was an argument that seemed fueled by missing their usual coping substances. However, food was good! Would go and pick up my order again, when in town. read more

It's not often that you find a gem in such a small town. I have to say we got a pepperoni pizza to take to the hotel next-door, the Mossbra hotel, which was fabulous. I like a thin crust pizza and this pizza was perfect. You should stop here and get a pizza on your way wherever you're going. read more

Service is nice and it's really nice in there. They're really friendly honestly some of the best ranch. The chicken Alfredo terrible taste just like noodle water with some chicken and a little pinch of cheese, but the pizza is amazing and it's always good. Sometimes it even gets better. I like the place by itself. Good place, friendly staff. But I ordered Bbq chicken pizza and it just was awful. Dough and sauce was fine, but cheese and chicken was terrible, especially cheese. Delicious food. I havent had pizza this good in a long time. A bunch of us ladies went in for a birthday and had the lunch buffet which contains of Salad, Pizza of all different kinds, cookies, breadstick's cut in smaller pieces, jo Jo's. The gentleman that was their was very kind and ready for 10 loud women. Lol very clean even the bathroom and cool marbel flooring. Pizza was delicious! Calzone was delicious! I ordered through GrubHub and It got delivered piping hot. Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes were NOT included. I'm unsure if you have to request them specifically or not but I would've appreciated the option. I called the restaurant before ordering to see if they would deliver themselves, which they did not. I'm outside of their delivery area. Dude had a hard to understand accent and just said "no" and then hung up on me. Someone tell him he is supposed to say goodbye first. Really solid pizza spot! The staff was super friendly and always busy--whether they were putting together boxes, emptying the trash, or wiping down tables, no one was just standing around. The place was clean and felt well-managed. The pizza was great! The salad bar was good, but it could've used a little more attention--just needed a quick refresh to make it feel as great as the rest of the experience. Since I'm always on the lookout for great pizza. I was watching this one being remodeled. So I decided when it was done to go try it. First time I went there it was delicious. Unfortunately this used to be my favorite pizza place. Shasta lake location does a better job but is still hit or miss. Their main issue is following instructions for a pizza. For example order thin crust, pepperoni, pineapple and bbq sauce. Asked for pepperoni on last so it is on top of the pizza and can get extra crispy. It never fails that they do a regular crust not thin and don't put the pepperoni on the top so it's soggy uncooked and extremely greasy. The bbq sauce was so much you could hardly hold the cheese on the pizza. It was a mess. This was not the first time -probably the fifth time over the last year- they haven't gotten it right even though I go to great lengths to explain it well. Food was good like normal. Love pizza factory and their company. Love how no matter which place you go to the pizza is always good. The service was great even if they ran out of ranch, the girl working still offered me other sauces and was super apologetic. The inside was empty and super nice and would be a great place for friends and family to come and watch some games. They have a few games for kids as well. Definitely nice not having to go to Shasta Lake now for pizza! One thing I do wish was better is the boneless wings. Stayed with points at a Travelodge for a night driving through Cali. Tried it because of the reviews and wasn't disappointed. I've had pizza everywhere and didn't expect to find anything decent in Redding. My wife and I were very plenty surprised. Greta crust and the flavor of the sauce and toppings was exceptional. Our family loves their pizza so much! They were awesome for us during the superbowl and delivered to us pretty quickly which was great because we somehow got low on all the food and snacks we made for everyone. I ordered pizza Sunday night, the delivery person left my pizza on the ground at the door. Did not ring the door bell or knock. After ordering something else, we discovered the pizza. I called for a refund on Monday and was told that they would deliver a refund to me on Tuesday night about 7:30pm. I called in on Tues, they did not have a driver to deliver this money. If you have the option of going to the Pizza factory in Shasta Lake, I would choose to drive to that one. I've only ordered from the Redding location 3 times over the last few months, I normally go to the one in Shasta Lake, but every time I've ordered from the Redding location my order has been messed up and I don't realize it until I get home. All they have to do is make the sandwich without tomatoes. It's even easier to make it, it's one less step to complete. It's even more frustrating because the girl repeated my order back correctly over the phone saying no tomato and when I got there the place was empty so it's not like they were slammed and were rushed to make the sandwiches. The sandwich is still good but the tomato juices don't all come off with the tomato slices when you pick it off so the sandwich isn't as good as it can be for my preference. I don't know if this is common there for orders to be made incorrectly but in my case it's been every time. read more
