We visited this Pizza restaurant recently and met the owners Mike & Sherry Puckett, who are two of the friendliest and gracious people we've ever met. But apart from the wonderful hosts, the Pizza was the best Pizza we have found in Shasta County, and we have tried them all. We live in Redding, but when we crave Pizza, we drive to Anderson. I know, there are Shasta Pizza shops in Redding and when we have wanted delivery in the past we have used the one on Victor Ave, but after ordering our favorite pizza (Garlic Chicken) at this shop we were amazed at how much better it was. We are now spoiled and won't settled for less than the best, so we drive to Anderson when we want Pizza. It's worth it! Art & Gloria read more

Shasta Pizza - Me behind the wheel of a 1941 Plymouth Sedan Delivery Wagon - Pizza Near Me - Anderson, California

Good food. Decent pizza, I enjoyed it hot out of the oven, was tasty, salad bar is ok, had the Italian dressing

I am not one to complain but I have been coming into this establishment for a wile now, I prefer to support local over big corporations. Monday, very surprised and disappointed. I ordered a medium pepperoni with extra pepperoni and anchovies. When I returned home what I ordered was clearly a disaster, there was not extra pepperoni and only a few anchovies. To make it worse the crust was not cook through nor was the layer of cheese under even melted. I think the biggest thing that agitates me is I left a $5 tip as I know what it's like to work for a living... Thanks for making me order from Players now! read more

Happiness is Freaky Tiki and Wings from Shasta Pizza after mowing the lawn and missing lunch! Delivery service was quick and a friendly vibe on the phone and in-person. Full menu is online with subs, salads, and more. Pizza thickness was medium, just the right crisp on the crust. Tangy Tiki sauce makes this a unique experience for tastebuds and outstanding quality ingredients: Fresh tomatoes, delicious ham, bacon and pineapple. Chicken on the wings was fall off-the-bone tender, mildly spicy, thinly breaded. All desires met, thank you! read more

Honestly the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Decided to make a stop during a road trip in the middle of the pandemic and this place didn't even seem open. But so glad they were because like I said...Best pizza I've ever had in my life. Their crust was slightly crunchy at the bottom and not too doughy or hard. Very generous toppings and flavorful sauce that wasn't too watery or greasy. And everything was sooooooooo cheesy. Like perfect cheese pull every bite cheesy. Recently stopped by again over a year later and it was just as good as the first time. You won't be disappointed. I mean, look at this perfection. read more

Shasta Pizza - a view of the dining area - Pizza Near Me - Anderson, California

Three stars for misdirection. This location is NOT owned by the same people who own the shasta pizza company in Redding. My fiancé and I ordered a meatball sub and a roast beef sub. What we received was a meatball sub and a french dip sandwich. So I called and asked why I received a french dip instead of a roast beef sandwich. Now bear in mind I have been eating at the REAL shasta pizza company for at least 20 years. The lady tells me that the other sandwiches are cold subs. Anyone who has had a shasta pizza company sub knows they put them through the oven before they dress them. Anyways she offered to make me another sandwich but I didnt want a cold sandwich. I wanted a shasta pizza company sub. I live in Reno NV now and when I come back to town this is one of my must haves. So instead of having her make me another sandwich I pull away and call shasta pizza on Victor avenue. I told them the experience I had and ask if they changed something in the last year since I got a sandwich and THEY informed me that the anderson location has a different owner. So I ordered a roast beef sandwich and drove to the store on Victor and got the sandwich I remember from high school. All of this being said, the rating is for the confusion. Im sure their pizza is good and my fiancé said the meatballs are on point. Was just disappointed with the confusion since they decided to use the same name as the restaurant I have been frequenting for the last 20 years. read more

We just moved here to Anderson from Redding where we enjoyed our Mountain Mikes but knew we had to find something closer.
