Unfortunately we were out of there delivery territory (12 miles away) so we had to go pick it up. We called in, and ordered two of the Saturday special which was a one topping XL pizza. Then, we added double pep. We also ordered the garlic twists and pesto twists. Our total was about $70, which isn't bad for the amount of food we got! I enjoyed that their pizza sauce had a little bit of spice to it. Everything tasted great. We fed 6 adults and two kids, and still had 3/4 of a pizza plus some twists leftover. All I can say is Players Pizza is AWESOME! I called in my order looking for the margherita Pizza. They do have something similar, but BETTER. It has the same ingredients including garlic and the crust was perfect. The pizza was delicious to say the least. It was the best pizza ever. My family and I (2 yrs/4 yrs) stopped here for dinner one night during a family camping trip and it was great! Food was good, staff was attentive and friendly, and the indoor bounce house/arcade was unmatched for my two littles. By far their favorite dinner of the trip - definitely recommend! Cheese - 7.5/10 A great amount of cheese per slice, with a nice crisp dough. The perfect amount of sauce and seasonings, blends very well. Pepperoni - 8/10 The pepperoni slices are nice and crisp, fatty but delicious too. Works well, but some slices have way too much and some have way too little. Garlic Chicken - 7/10 The garlic is strong, you instantly get hit with a taste of buttery garlic. Then onion, chicken, and tomato. The tomato bits were too much and didn't mix well, but the rest of the toppings worked well. The chicken was juicy and great. BBQ Chicken - 3.5/10 Very sweet bbq sauce, didn't quite like it. The fat tomato chunks also help ruin the pizza. All Meat Gluten Free - 7.5/10 Wish the crust was thicker and softer but it wasn't offensive. The sausage, pepperoni, ham, and bacon worked well together. Sweet and salty, mixed well. Great taste. Hawaiian - 4/10 Not good. But I hate Hawaiian so it's okay. read more

Great food! The owners are so nice and involved. They we're setting up for a special event last time I was there and the had a red carpet rolled out for said event and everyone that walked through that door was treated just as special as those the carpet was intended for. Well, let me tell you the first time we had Player's, it was 5! We went back for a second time and figured the heavy flower was a mistake and ate the pizza. The third time ever, and it was worse, more flower. Figured this is worth letting them know for their own benefits. The manager wanted to argue or, more or less, over talk me in why and how  this is normal.If this is normal, we would have never been back after the first pizza. Worst Pizza I have ever had in my entire life. I have never wished I had a frozen pizza more. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger pizza. It had 20 little tiny pieces of hamburger, barely any sauce and no cheese. We were sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting for it finally went up and it was sitting in the Box up on the counter and it had gone cold. They are great for birthday parties. A little more then other pizza but it's worth it. It's a family run family feel place.

We had my daughters birthday party here and we were very unhappy with the service of the employees that were working at the time. We had a 2 hour time slot and at the end of it, we were treated very rudely in front of our guests about getting out of the room so that they could prepare for the next party. Also, I felt the way I was asked for payment at the end was very abrupt and rude as well as very unprofessional. We haven't had this type of experience here in the past. Staff was great. The pizza came out super fast and was pretty good. They also have good ranch! Lol. The thing that really sets this place back is the game rooms for the kids. They've put a couple games outside the main game room, because they rent the whole thing out during birthdays. We left the first time this was the case and stayed this second time. I've been to Players about 100 times, having started going after football and basketball officiating meetings at Anderson high school since shortly after they opened. Something local pizzerias often miss on is consistency. Players doesn't. I've been there when the owners are in and when they aren't, and the food quality is the same. Bravo, as I've seen this go the other way too often. The pizzas, sandwiches and calzones are really, really good. (Try the stuffed crust option). They have a good selection of craft beers and their prices are very reasonable. They have partially separate and totally separate meeting room as well as a children's play area which is somehow soundproofed. (Really nice). If you are looking for a place to watch football, basketball or baseball, they have big-screen tv's on 3/4 walls. It's worth a drive from Redding or Cottonwood, and it's a no-brainer if you live in Anderson! read more

I used to eat lunch here, every week, plus my husband & I would have lunch here on the weekend. We stopped going about 6 months ago, because one time they tried to charge us $50 for a personal pizza, dozen wings, fountain drink a a small beer. The next time we went the wings were raw, and they made the pizza wrong. Today we went back, hoping that they have improved. They haven't!!! We ordered wings, a sandwich, fountain drink and beer -$46. The wings came out in 10 minutes, but I had to wait 25 minutes for the sandwich. The staff barely apologized for the wait, and offered nothing in compensation. I would suggest you try the new Cinders Pizza, or even Round Table on the next block over. Tried this pizza place for the first time. Service was good and fast. We were impressed with the large menu, offering pizza, pasta, wings and various sides. We ordered pepperoni pizza, garlic parm wings, Mac n cheese and a pitcher of beer. Table was "clean" but dirty and sticky. Mac n cheese was supposed to have bacon and jalapeños in it but only had chunks of burnt crumbles from the bottom of the pan. No bacon and no jalapeño. Garlic parm wings looked and tasted like regular wings that they opened a packet of Parmesan cheese and sprinkled it on top. No sauce! No garlic! Pizza was good. Beer was warm. Soda machine out of ice when I went for a refill. Tons of people eating here. Must be for pizza only. Everything else was terrible. We won't go back. read more

First time trying this pizza restaurant and it was just mediocre. The restaurant had a large selection of specialty pizzas and other side dishes. We tried an extra large half Montezuma and Combo pizza. Ordering was super easy and the food was on time when we picked up our order. The only reason I gave 3 stars was that the pizza had been very under cooked. The Bell Peppers, onions and olives were still raw and the crust was very underdone. After getting home we had to place the whole pizza in the oven for another 10 minutes to finish cooking. The pizza had good flavor and the sauce was robust. I would probably give them another try but only one more chance to get the pizza right next time. read more
