    Habanero bbq chicken fries

Tried this place again to see if it was a fluke and it most definitely was not. Got the bbq habanero fries again and they were huge. Generous amount of everything and it was really good. The batter on the chicken is so crunchy. Friendly service and a clean place.

I've read some of the reviews about freshness and undercooked chicken, but I didn't experience that with my visit. I got the buffalo chicken fries and was quite impressed by the crispness of the fries. You can tell that they lightly coat the fries in something to make it crispier. The chicken was also perfectly cooked, with the sauce not being overpowering. Loved that the bbq sauce wasn't too sweet, but the habanero could be a bit spicier. All in all, it was delicious. From the custom made stools to the vinyl printed designs on the wall, they put a lot of thought into the branding.

First time here. On a road trip and got off interstate 5 to eat. Service was very good and gave some good recommendations. Had the Mimi's southern bbq, good flavor and tenders not dry. Worst thing was not being able to put it down for fear of it falling apart. Other order was chicken tenders and fries. Also cooked well with good taste. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. Place was clean. Hope to stop again on next drive through.

The chicken shack portions are HUGE! If you want a side then you may want to reconsider...one of the sandwiches and a side could easily be enough for 2 people. The tenders are HUGE as well. It was very good chicken and had a nice breading- not super thick. Brussels sprouts were crispy and yummy. My daughter loved the homemade barbecue sauce. I took the rest of my chicken with me and ate it for breakfast since our hotel didn't have any. My daughter took her remaining tender and ate it for lunch on a wrap. Fried pickles were the only thing that weren't a hit- they were too salty...maybe it was the batch of pickles ‍if they weren't as salty they would have been good. Didn't matter too much cause everyone was too full of giant chicken sandwiches to eat them anyway. We also love chickens...so we enjoyed the chicken decor

I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Normally in Redding the food scene is drab and disappointing. The staff was friendly and prompt. The establishment was clean . We sat down and our food came out hot and fresh. The potions were pretty large, I couldn't finish my sandwich and my wife was struggling w/ her cheese fries. The garlic fries are a must. Great flavor and crispy. The chicken on the sandwich was hot and juicy. Great experience, will come back.

Always look to try places we don't have back home and found this place and had to give it a try. This location is cute, but small. They do have outdoor seating as well, but it was a bit hot for us for that. The menu is decent, they have sandwiches, loaded fries, tenders, salads and family meals. We tried a few options and everything looked beautiful, the salad was good (sauces and dressing were good), and the fries were good, but we felt the chicken definitely needed some more spice. The service was good as well, super friendly and gave us time to check out the menu. If you're in the area and like chicken, it's worth trying.

Good thing Chicken Shack is not close to me, otherwise I think I would be here too often. They take chicken and waffles to whole other level by sandwiching your buttermilk fried chicken tenders between the waffle. I got the Mother Clucker not only for its name but because if chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy had a baby topped with an egg blanket and some bacon strips, it would be the Mother Clucker. It was so delicious that I almost didn't want to share even with the offer of some Mimi's Southern BBQ which is good but not as epic as that Mother Clucker. My first time having fried pickles and all I can say is for someone who does not eat fried very often, I sure went all out and it was worth it!!

Back again! This place never has let us down. The wings- spicy Korean style are so tasty! Plus the chicken and waffles are super good too coming with the gravy, syrup, and spiced butter. Can't wait to come back! Plus the service is good and speedy. Plenty of seating each time we come.

When I found this restarurant, I could not wait to try it. We had been on the road all morning and finally it was our lunch stop. There is indoor dining and two major areas for outdoor dining. Just in front of the "front doors" is the shaded outdoor dining. Or around the corner under the sun were two other tables. I ordered a Mimi's southern BBQ. The first thing I must note, is that your food is served on corrugated cardboard, this is to prevent the waffle from getting soggy. It also causes sauce and crumbs to get trapped on the valleys, which could be a bummer. I found teh BBQ sauce to be sweeter and only a little tangyness. The flavors were great, and eating the BBQ chicken with fried pickles and garlic fries was delicous. I also ate some of the Mother Clucker, which is like chicken, biscutts and gravy. This sandwich suffered the most gravy loss due to the corrugated slats, but just as tastyt as the BBQ. Next time I hope to try the "O.G. or Buffalo Blue with loaded Buffalo or Disco fries!!!!

Stopped for a quick bite, was jonesing for a chicken sandwich, and I was not disappointed!! Will visit again next time I'm in The Ding! Great meaty chicken, nice bun. I had the Naked Chicken sandwich and it was not naked! Location was kept very clean and staff friendly.

    The cheesy fries where great!

For the chicken, you pick your own flavor/spice level. We went with full platter (whole chicken) with half mango lime and half mild. For our 2 sides, we chose corn on the cob and cole slaw. We also added potato wedges. We grabbed our seats after we placed our order at the counter. Our order was ready around 18 minutes. They called our name and we picked up at the pick up window. Full platter comes with 10 pieces. Mild looked pretty plain but it was super spicy, tasted more like hot. Mango lime was nothing I expected. The flavor was alright but wouldn't get again. Very spicy as well. Chicken was a bit dry but overall, tasted ok. Corn on the cob was a bit burnt. Coleslaw was very creamy. Potato wedges was really good. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Service was friendly. They do offer cups for complimentary water, self serve. Seatings indoor and outdoor. Only one neutral gender restroom for customers. They are connected to Sourdough Bread Company. Ample parking in the plaza.

One of them was supposed to be pepperoni and chicken. Instead, it arrived with ginger and garlic, an odd and completely off-putting combo for a pizza. I double-checked the online order and realized the mistake was mine. I had accidentally selected the wrong toppings. I owned that. I wasn't trying to scam anyone or dodge responsibility. But when I asked if they could remake the pizza or offer a partial refund, they flat-out refused. No empathy. No flexibility. Just a cold "no." Not even a gesture of goodwill like a discount on a future order or a small credit. I wasn't asking for the world, just a little understanding. And that's where this place failed miserably. Let me be clear: I understand that restaurants aren't obligated to fix customer mistakes. But good businesses choose to do the right thing anyway. They recognize that $25 isn't worth losing a loyal customer. They understand that how you treat people in moments like this defines your brand far more than the food ever could. I told them I'd be doing a chargeback and never ordering again. Not because of the pizza, but because of the way they handled the situation. If I owned a restaurant, I'd remake that pizza in a heartbeat. Not because I had to, but because I'd want that customer to come back. That's how you build trust. That's how you build legacy. So here's my warning to anyone considering this place: if you ever have an issue, whether it's your fault or theirs, don't expect compassion. Don't expect accountability. And don't expect them to care about your experience once they've got your money. This wasn't just bad service. It was a missed opportunity to do right by someone who was honest, respectful, and willing to pay for quality. They chose short-term profit over long-term reputation. And that says everything. Until they rectify this, I will no longer be their customer again, sadly, in a small town like this, where customer loyalty is everything. That kind of disregard doesn't just lose a sale. It loses trust. And once that's gone, it's hard to earn back.

I usually order the greens, but during my last few visits, the broccoli has been undercooked and difficult to bite through. There's nothing particularly wrong with the service or the restaurant itself. The main issue is simply that the food quality has been below par compared to other locations.

I've already tried the new Brisket at another location and thought it was tasty, but the portions were so skimpy especially considering the upcharge of $2.00 PER serving of the Brisket. I got a 2 serving plate with chow mien and it ended up being $15.50 inc tax. All I got was 12 pieces of the brisket. I mean little slices, not big slabs like at a Texas brisket place. I decided to give it another try, but order differently. I'm gonna skip the carbo noodles and just get the meat. They have an option to order ala carte in a box. A medium order which just includes 12 pieces of brisket (yeah I asked how much) was $13.50 inc tax, served in a little dinky box. I just wanted to judge the meat on it's own merits, no combo with orange chicken like the YouTubers! This was about $1.00 per little slice! OK, I will say the Cantonese BBQ Beef Brisket is very tender, way more tender than most any other brisket I ever had. I don't care that it's not "REAL" Chinese like some of those YouTube commenters, this is Panda Express Chinese American food central! What I do have a problem with, is the portioning policies of corporate Panda (just 6 pieces per order.... really?) and the pricing. I can get way more food at a mom and pop Chinese fast food, like a place we have in Red Bluff. Sure you can't get beef brisket like this at any other Chinese or BBQ place , so there's that. This Brisket is supposed to end late August, so I got a feeling it's not going to keep going with the portion and pricing they have. I think I've had my fill of this BBQ Beef Brisket for now. At least most of all the Panda location dining areas are clean and neat.
