My friends and I came here for brunch recently, and while we went in with high hopes because of the cute ambiance, we left very disappointed. The food was on the blander side and there were a lot of errors in terms of receiving the correct food (maybe growing pains from still being a new-ish place?). Our server Anthony was extremely nice, but the woman who brought out the food seemed annoyed with US that we were getting the wrong food. Had a lovely brunch with a friend at Mornings on First! After swinging by the farmers market, we wanted to grab a good brunch while in the area. I've been wanting to go to Mornings on First since I saw their sign posted earlier in the summer so we headed over. Luckily, they were able to seat us with no wait time on a late Sunday morning. The restaurant has lots of seating with the outdoor front patio, indoor space with a bar area, and outdoor covered back patio. Very cute vibes and aesthetic all throughout. Service was great and we were never waiting too long for anything. We ordered and shared: + iced coffee flight ($15): this came with a tiramisu latte, cookies & cream cold brew, and s'mores latte. Each of the flight drinks were smaller than I expected and for $15, I was hoping for more but I suppose you're also paying for the opportunity to have a variety. The lattes were good but more sweet and milky (as lattes are) and I didn't get much of a coffee flavor. I did enjoy the cookies and cream cold brew! + chilaquiles ($16): yum! savory in all the best ways. It was a large enough portion to share between the two of us and we were satisfied. They have the option to add grilled chicken breast for $6 and I think if you wanted to pile on the protein, this would be a good option. The chorizo was good, but a little more wouldn't hurt! + waffle royale ($18): might've been one of the best waffles I've had lately. They nailed the liege waffle and I love the crunchy sugar inside. Adding the strawberries and bananas made me feel the tiniest bit less guilty about having this very dessert-forward meal for breakfast. While it does feel like it's on the pricier side for breakfast, the portion sizes were all pretty big, so you could definitely go family style with the plates. Get a little taste of everything. First time trying Mornings on First; and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in the service was great; staff who greeted us were all friendly and our waiter was all smiles. We were not sure what dishes to order as everything sounded amazing, our waiter was able to narrow down some choices for us based on popular items and shared some of his favorites as well. We settled on the breakfast burrito and the Farmers Omelette. Both were great! Some highlights from the burrito were that the portions were very generous! They did not skimp on the best parts of it, the meats, and eggs. It was a lot for one person to finish. The Farmers Omelette was delicious, I would definitely get this item again. All of the ingredients tasted super fresh and the potatoes that came along with it were perfectly cooked, nice and crunchy! The only downside (and this may just be personal opinion) was the coffee: the coffee was quite weak; however, I am someone who prefers my coffee made like jet fuel. Other than that, ambiance was great, staff were super attentive and friendly, and food was amazing. We will definitely be coming back! read more

Staff is friendly and attentive. Restaurant is a bit small inside, it's the site of the original Alehouse, but there's also ample space outside. My husband and I came to visit family from Arizona and we stumbled upon this super cute brunch hotspot. We had a great experience from start to finish. We had less than a 10 minute wait time. We did have our 7wk old daughter and they were more than willing to accommodate us by brining us extra heaters and seating us in a quieter area on the back patio. A gentleman (who I assume is the owner) even came out and checked in on us multiple times. Our food came so quickly. We all enjoyed our food and drinks. The presentation was beautiful too. Perfect meal for me and my friends. First, the place is super cute (and check out the courtyard! An umbrella covered court AND wings on the wall you can take pictures with!) Overall pretty disappointed with the experience and probably won't be coming back. Decided to try on a Sunday around 11, seating was easy, we came in as a party of four and they sat us inside. We ordered drinks and i asked the server for some waters. After 15 minutes we get our drinks and put in our food orders. Our party decided to get two plates to split, avocado toast and the breakfast tacos. We wanted a quick bite to share so we got items that didn't seem like they would take long, apparently we were wrong. Food doesn't come out for 30-45 minutes, no word from the waitress, and i see tables that sat after us receiving their food. Also, asked waitress for water a second time, never get any water the whole time. At this point we don't want to wait an hour for avocado toast so when the waitress shows up we ask to cancel the food order. She tells us our food "is literally being plated and about to come out" so we say okay we'll still have it. Literally wait another 10 minutes so at this point we get it to go and leave. It feels like they gave an excuse of being slammed but it seems like other tables were getting their food and it really was not packed. Overall disappointed with the service and our waitress really did not check in at all They did offer us a $20 waiver for next time we come so that was nice on their end, adding a star for that. read more

It wasn't super busy so they let us pick the table. I had already checked out the menu and yelp prior to eating here so I had an idea of what I wanted. Did not taste any pineapple in the pancakes so a bit disappointing & glad I asked for the Mac Nut Cream sauce on the side (not a fan...tasted like chopped mac nuts in a butter sauce with some milk/cream added & not sweet). We tried this place for a late brunch yesterday, it was overpriced and not worth it. Yes, it was a super hot day but we sat inside and there was so many flies INSIDE it was disgusting, they were buzzing all around us. Everything is an up charge here, it was $1 for one pump of syrup in my coffee, a small fruit cup on the side, instead of potatoes, was another up charge ( not sure how much but not worth it because it was frozen fruit that was still frozen even in 106 degree heat) I had to get up and ask the server for creamer for my coffee at the bar. We never got water refills. Food: I got the Eggs Benedict, the server asked me how I wanted my eggs cooked.. I've never heard of this question when you order eggs Benedict, aren't they always over easy? The hollandaise was just alright, it seemed premade like from a package. My husband got the chilaquiles which were like hard nachos with eggs on top. The service was okay, there were 2 people working and the guy was friendly, the girl was eh. While we were there there was a group of guys sitting at the bar, one seemed to work there and the servers seemed to be busy with them instead of everyone else. It was a weird vibe.
