Huge portions, cool place, service was amazing! This is a better deal and atmosphere than the local hotels!

This was the smallest quiche I've ever had in my life. It was about the size of the palm of my hand, 1 inch thick and hard! If you go here, do not order the quiche or you will be hungry in an hour. They also said the grapefruit juice was fresh squeezed, but I know Tropicana when I tasted. read more

Pros: I loved the setting. The food was very tasty and the mimosa flight was awesome. The servers were great. Red potatoes well seasoned. Cons: Pricey for biscuits and gravy. They tasted good but the biscuits were too crunchy for me, a little too hard for me. I like mine flaky and a bit soft. I asked for eggs over easy and the yolk was overcooked and barely runny like I would expect an over-easy egg should be. I would give them another try to see if I get a better experience. read more

Just an ok breakfast. Server was not very attentive. Our food needed some attention and we sat for about 10 minutes waiting for her to check on us. By the time we were able to flag her down, the other food was cold so we had to start over. The other guests were completely done with their meals by the time I got my meal. Very unacceptable. The food was ok but everything would have been better with a more attentive server. read more

My sister and I loved this place. We sat outside and the weather was nice because we went quite early in the morning. My sister got the chilaquiles ($16) and I got a Smoked Salmon Benedict ($18). The chilaquiles were very spicy and not too good, but the Benedict was good. read more

Came in on a Friday morning around 10:30am and it wasn't busy. This place also connects to a coffee shop next door accessible on the way to the bathroom. They had a 2 for $4 Jell-O shot special for breakfast was I thought was fun so I ordered them. I ordered the Cali Benedict and it was very good-hollandaise sauce was flavorful, avocado wasn't ripe, and the potatoes were crunchy and flavorful. The Cali Benedict is $17, which I thought was a little pricey but Morning Squeeze has so many options for breakfast which gave it 5 stars for me. Service was great too. read more

Such a cute place! Fresh off our flight from Indy to explore Phoenix for Spring Break. We were starving and looked this place up in Yelp so we decided to stop. So glad we did! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is open and casual and trendy. The food was delicious! I had a BLT and the bread was delicious and the fruit cup was so fresh and sweet. My husband had the meatlovers omelet and he said it was delicious. The kids had chicken and waffles, eggs my way and a crispy chick sandwich. Listen, my crew is hard to pwlase and everyone loved their dishes. Slam dunk! The 80s Playlist was a plus and I was singing along in between bites. This place is great. I highly recommend. Note: easy meter parking is right out front and the light rail system stops right by here! read more

The service was awful. Sat down and no one ever came. The guy who was sitting next to us left because of that. We had to ask someone 3 times if anyone was going to help us. When asking one server she said it wasn't her problem, as she is only worried about her tables. The bartender was kind was kind enough to step up and help us. The girl that was supposed to be our waitress looked absolutely miserable and not helpful. Food was pretty good so there is that if you're willing to overlook any service. read more

Went to breakfast here. And it was incredible. From the drinks to the food . Everything was very good. I had an iced hazelnut latte and it was so yummy! All of our food was amazing as well. Definitely recommend if you want just a great spot ! We were a bit worried heading into the restaurant at 9:30am on a Saturday, but were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away! If you have a larger group, however, I would recommend reserving on Opentable as there were many groups of 5+ that had to wait. I enjoyed the fun murals painted on the walls and the relaxed atmosphere. As for the food, everything was very tasty! My husband was especially impressed with the lox & bagels (although quite messy)! As a vegetarian, there were limited options for me, but I was very happy with the taste of the southwestern omelette, and the pancake side was a worthwhile substitute for a simple slice of bread! I'm not sure if I would return due to the limited options for my personal diet, but I have no complaints about the taste of the food or our experience. read more

Cute space & the absolute nicest greeter working the door. But food is ridiculous, price & portion-wise. Total bummer of a start to the day. I paid $12 for a minuscule 12 ounce smoothie that was ice, half a banana, a few strawberries & a splash of almond milk (charged $1.50 extra for) on Tuesday. Then Wednesday paid $21.93 for 2 tiny pieces of avocado toast. Pictured is what I got vs what was advertised on the website. & no flavor other than the feta on the toast. I really feel cheated. read more

MS is conveniently located downtown in the central business district. I really like the look and ambience with original artwork, murals(very colorful and nice in the morning)by well regarded artist Jayarr. Service by Manager Ruth and Server Sheila was very friendly, courteous and fast-top ten service downtown in my experience. My meatlovers omelette was delicious and very filling. I also really liked the sourdough bread on the side. I rank Morning Squeeze a top ten breakfast destination in Arizona for food, service, location, atmosphere and value. Highly recommended. read more

The most efficient service I received during my visit of the city. The girl comes to our table pretty frequently. During a business meal, it's really easy to lose control of time, after 30 mins passed, u may still not order the food yet, because people are busy with talk. Therefore, if the server can come to "interrupt" and remind us to order food? Perfect! I ordered the lox and bagel. 4.5 out of 5. The portion is great, it's fresh. The downside is it's too oily, and the cream's flavor is not there, but overall, I enjoyed it. A full service breakfast restaurant, they have most of the popular breakfast u want, which is good. Recommend. read more

SQUEEZE ME PLEASE, or am I in breakfast heaven? My wife and I were in Phoenix for a sporting weekend. We'd been looking for a good breakfast joint when we found this gem within walking distance from our hotel. The moment we walked in we knew it was going to be good. All the food that patrons were chowing down looked absolutely fabulous, especially the biscuits and gravity, which was yummy according to my wife who wouldn't let me taste them...okay I did taste them. I started with the espresso martini, and only had one...right after another, so my breakfast was a bite of a blur, but believe it was a Meat Loves Omelet with a chocolate chip pancake that I ordered, which went down way too quickly. Did I mention how good the espresso martinis were? Service was fantastic, the place has a great vibe and we were seated immediately on a Saturday morning, which I wasn't expecting either. Definitely will come back next time in Phoenix and highly recommend it for the breakfast junkie! read more

Cute restaurant, was surprisingly not busy for a Saturday even with the NFL Experience going on at the Convention Center. Took a solid 7 minutes before our server came to greet us. Asked to order the "Do that s#!t yourself" mimosa (full bottle of Prosecco + juices to mix) for $35. Server hard sold that the mimosa flight was only $15 and the "same thing" so he suggested getting that otherwise you are "paying $20 more and having to mix it yourself" kind of made it impossible to say no, but when the flight came out it was clearly juice heavy and the equivalent of maybe 1/4 of a bottle worth of Prosecco. So definitely not the same thing for $20 less, in fact not as good of a deal at all for the amount of alcohol you're getting. I heard him discourage 3 other tables as well, not sure why the hard down sell.... And then to make it worst is once we were done with the first round of drinks he didn't come back at all to check on us until we were pretty much done with our food. Food was pretty decent which did make up for the other frustration some and came out quick. Although I wish the Green Chile Pork would have had a little heat to it. I'd give it another try and hope for a better situation around the service. read more

Whether it be morning, or not, the Morning Squeeze is the brunch spot to be at. This downtown Phoenix (grand opening September 17th) is their third valley location (Tempe & Scottsdale). I was invited to try the new location out during the "Friends and Family" soft opening, and it did not disappoint. The fun interior, quickly accessible menu, and tasty options all exceeded my expectations, but the service is where they really shined. The staff was fun and friendly without being overbearing - aka the best kind of waitstaff, there could be. They didn't even mind my excessive photo-taking (don't worry I asked first!) and even offered to help. 10/10 loved this new location and will be back. read more

We were in downtown Phoenix for the weekend and needed a bite of breakfast and coffee -- so glad we found Morning Squeeze! The barista was so kind when we jokingly requested latte art on our coffee and he made us a couple drinks until he made a cute design out of the foam. The lox bagel was pretty solid and huge portion size for its price (pictured is just half the bagel!) and the staff was kind enough to split it up for us and make our dining experience memorable. The interior design is adorable and adorned with little cactus drawings. Definitely a great place to stop for visitors to Phoenix! read more

I enjoyed the cocktails and my chicken and waffles. It is a great breakfast/brunch place in Downtown. We had trouble finding parking in the beginning but eventually found a spot. The only thing I did not like was our seating. Our party of 5 was seated in this long table right in the middle of two parties. It was uncomfortable by how close we are. But that's just the tables they had available. We eventually moved. read more

Two meals here with pretty good experiences. They get busy so service times can get extended. Food quality is above average and so are prices. Questioning price points at this time. The seating was quick, thanks to the fact you can put your name in beforehand. And let me say that I appreciate and LOVE the fact that the patio is dog friendly- honestly that is a big reason why I'll go. However, the odor emitting (I believe) from the sidewalk surrounding the patio. Is AWFUL. It is urine for sure. It could be from the pets that are allowed there (though I doubt it), or the pets that are walked by the owners and do their business around the place- either way, it was ripe, it was awful and it ruined everything. Y the smell hits you as you dine out there, no matter how good your beverage or food may be, it makes it all unappealing. I don't understand how no one that works there smells that and doesn't address it? Obviously management is lazy, because a weekly cleaning, or even more frequently, with bleach or another cleaning agent of the patio and sidewalk, including the rocks, whatever surrounding the outdoor dining area, MUST BE DONE. This is a management fail, as it should be assigned side work or hire someone to do it, but to ignore it is unacceptable. I cannot be the only client who has experienced it, but please fix it or I won't be back, nor will others who experience it I imagine. read more

I rarely write reviews but this place was so bad, I decided to do a public warning. This was by far our worst breakfast in recent memory. My wife and I went here last Sunday. We got there about 20 minutes after they opened. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and she ordered the Bagel Sandwich. Biscuits & Gravy were cold. Biscuits were day-old and cold to the touch. Gravy was just....cold. I also got a side of sausage. I don't know if it was meatless sausage or what, but that was not sausage. Bagel Sandwich had 4-5 too many eggs on it. The bagel was soggy. The hash browns were ok. The service was fine. We each ate a little bit of our breakfasts and then asked for the check. I asked the server if she could simply tell the cooks to temp their foods before serving. She was very nice and asked if she could take $$ off the bill. We declined because we did eat some of it. In the end, that was $60 wasted on a crap meal. Don't go here....ever! read more

First the good. The service was efficient and we didn't have to wait more then 15 minutes for a table. The atmosphere was fun and cheerful. The bathrooms were new and clean. The food was Meh. Coffee was pretty terrible, weak. I think I've had better at Circle K. Husband and I had omelets, they won't substitute pancake for toast, you've got to order a side of pancakes. Potatoes were cheesy and tasty. Our teenage son really liked his BLT-A. Bacon was crispy and sliced thickly. About 3-4 slices on the sandwich. Overall, we will try somewhere else next time. The food was ok. The service and atmosphere were great. read more

Food- 5 stars: The food at this restaurant was definitely good. We loved the carne asada fries. We felt that the salmon Benedict could have had more salmon on it for the price. Service- 4 stars: our server was very nice. It was busy so she wasn't the most attentive. We had to flag another staff member down twice to get her to come to our table. But when she was engaging with us, she was great. Cleanliness- 3 stars: overall the dining area was very clean. Our main concern was the open bar where smoothies and drinks are made. We watched the bar tender reuse the same smoothie blender for 3 different drinks without rinsing the blender. Not even a water rinse. This is very unsanitary and not safe for those who may have intolerances to certain ingredients. read more

Incredible atmosphere and service. Great place if you're staying downtown or headed to a show.

So we had a 3+ hour layover in Phoenix and didn't want to eat at the airport so we yelped this place and ventured off to taste they're food and I'm glad we did...it was delicious. When we arrived, we were told that they were on a 10 minute break but it was ok to sit at the bar. Because we were managing our time we chose to sit at the bar. I had the carne asada benedicts which were amazing. The steak was seasoned very well and I truly enjoyed the chipotle hollandaise. My hubby enjoyed the Hangover bowl and he enjoyed his meal as well. The portion size was large so we both had leftovers. The customer service was amazing and the prices were very reasonable. If you're ever in Phoenix and have a long layover, I would definitely recommend you taking the 10 minute train ride downtown to this place. read more

The service here is terrible and the workers are rude. Ordered to go at the bar, first off it took 30 minutes for them to even take my order and then I waited over an hour for my food. We came in with a big group, and I was the second person to order and I got my food last. The workers told us they were prioritizing dine in orders first and not to go orders. They have no solutions to this problem, and instead of the workers being considerate and listening they were rude and standoffish. No sense of urgency from the staff on food or drinks either. I ordered a smoothie and they did not bring it out right away, so when I got it, it was completely melted and like juice. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for something quick to grab. Staff and service is awful. read more

My wife and I found ourselves downtown Phoenix yesterday after trying a new church service that ended around 12:30pm and we went in search of food. We came across a newer location for Morning Squeeze that I hadn't been to before. I have been to the one in Scottsdale many times and never been disappointed. Figured it was a safe bet so, after we found a parking spot almost immediately (SHOCKING!), we made our way into the restaurant. Bear in mind, this is right next to a Cartel Coffee and a Blanco Taco restaurant, thus you would expect the neighboring competition would keep them on their toes. Wow, was I wrong!?!!! The restaurant was about 25% occupied so the servers and kitchen were certainly not overtaxed at the time. The hostess was polite and seated us quickly. Our server was attentive and took our drink order quickly, returning with coffee and OJ for us. The juice tasted fresh, however the coffee was lukewarm. I mean, c'mon people, this is a breakfast place! How hard is it to keep hot coffee around? We ordered: my wife getting eggs Benedict on GF toast, I ordered a Green Chile Pork Skillet with three eggs cooked medium. So far, so good - except for the coffee. About fifteen minutes later our food arrived. It looked (how can I describe it?) tired. Whatever, at this point I was hungry enough to eat my own shoes. I cut into my eggs, they're not medium - they've been cooked to an inch of immolation. The yolks were solid, ugh. The chili was non-existent. Under the eggs: pieces of pork, roasted potatoes but no chili? It was dry as a bone. My wife's Benedict also tragically overcooked to almost inedible state. Slicing into one of the eggs, it released about two ounces of water (probably trapped in the poaching process which clearly went on too long) which made the toast under it a soggy mess. To her credit, our server when she checked on our meals, while unapologetic, at least offered to have the kitchen remake the food. We declined so we could escape as quickly as possible. We have lots of good breakfast places in town, this simply is not one of them. read more

My family and I were in there yesterday and left a purse. We came back 5 minutes later and it was stolen. The staff was very unhelpful after expressing that the purse had medical supplies in it for diabetic issues and the servers refused to give us the owners name and security footage.
