Stop by here if you want some green onion pancake wraps. Food was ok, staff was doing their best during rush hour. Just a heads up. Make sure you double check your bill for discrepancy in pricing.

SOO GOOOOOD I cried inside because I loveee Taiwanese breakfast so much, and this place totally exceeded my expectations! The best dish we ordered was the Bacon Egg Pancake Roll (Dan Bing). The Dan bing had a nice crispy crunch to it which I am not used to, and I always feel that bacon goes so well with it! If you miss Taiwanese breakfast, then you have to come here!!!

I've known about Morning Delight Cafe for quite a while, but it's a very small restaurant with very few seats and it's only open for brunch. So I had to find a good opportunity to go. I finally came with a few colleagues for lunch. The items all looked good. One person got the steak and egg plate noodles, another person the curry soup base Taiwanese mini hot pot and milk tea combo. I personally got the traditional egg pancake roll with hash browns. I've had plenty of scallion pancakes but none with hash browns, so I thought that was unique. The staff are very attentive. The food took a while to come but it was worth the wait. I really enjoyed my hash browns and scallion pancakes. My colleague suggested I add the sauce that they had which tasted like a combination of ketchup and sriracha. It added a nice kick to the dish. The hours a bit weird and the location is a bit small, but definitely a solid Taiwanese brunch establishment.

I decided to give this a try since Tam's Noodle House next door was busy. First off this is a really cute looking cafe, tons of yellow around resemblance of eggs. I came for the breakfast so I tried out a few of the morning items on the menu. Combo F (Porridge + Fried Chicken) - This was a bit lackluster. The rice was chunky and not completely cooked down like I thought. Flavors were very strong and quite peppery. It wasn't bad neither was it that good. The fried chicken wasn't special either, it was crispy but the flavors were pretty mid. (3/5) Signature Pork Sandwich - This was advertised as limited edition on the menu. The sandwich was actually really tasty but when it arrived it looked like it's just a prepacked sandwich. For $6 though I thought it was good overall. (3.5/5) Basil Taiwan Sausage Egg Pancake - This is where this place shined. This was the only thing that I thought stood out. It was crispy, flavorful and looked great. I would recommend this. (4.5/5) Overall thought this was an alright cafe. The prices were good at ~ $10 per dish and the service was fast and friendly. Designs of the cafe were comforting and cute but I thought the food was a bit lacking. Not something I'd be back for.

I swear this pic looks like AI but its not! It really looks like that!

I love Asian food, and trying out different Asian breakfast spots is a must! Different places do different things, its how places stand out. I saw a dish from here I've never seen before, so I know I had to try it. We went in the morning on Valentine's Day. It is a small spot and there were only a handful of tables inside, but a few outside in the sun. We didn't get there early enough so we had to sit outside. No umbrellas unfortunately so one of us got the sun on our back, one the sun in our face. You can probably guess which one I got. Should of worn a hat. Before sitting, we had ordered inside. Though the cashier spoke English, we had a slight language barrier issue when ordering, but when I pointed to the menu, the other language that was written below the item I wanted, helped and then she understood. I saw a few bad reviews on here after I visited, time delay, food quality, but I dont think there was anything bad to say about this place. We had great dishes that were flavorful, savory and filling. Price was a little steep for breakfast, but when you compare to breakfast sandwiches from say, McDonalds? This was like caviar compared to cheese puffs, so I'd say it was worth it. The rest of the menu had items that got me excited just reading them! I will be back to try them for sure!

Something about this place is very basic, yet does the cross between Western and Chinese food well. Did not expect too much from the noodles, egg, and pork-- but that absolutely hit the spot. The menu here doesn't seem like much but is actually quite varied in what they do, the vibe is cute, service is on the efficient side but is actually quite friendly. Probably worth a return to try more of the return menu.

I saw their Instagram reel and I just had to try this Taiwanese brunch joint and I am so happy I ventured out. My friend and I went to town with the categories, ordering basically one of each: a pancake, sandwich, burger, milk tea, and the puff pastry soup. The basil Taiwanese sausage pancake really hit the spot for me with its savory notes from the sausage and the sweet soy sauce that was artfully plated. I probably ate the majority of it than my friend. Whoops. Overall, I liked this cafe. It's cozy. However, to note the parking lot can be a bit cumbersome as it's shared with a number of other restaurants and a CVS, but there is street and a lower level parking area. The cafe itself has dining tables inside as well as few cafe tables outside, which is perfect for a sunny California day brunch mood in the 626!

Comfort food done right. Warm noodles, sunny afternoon. Simple food, good mood.

Comfort food at its best. Imagine warm noodles on a sunny afternoon--simple, yet satisfying. A gentle bowl of noodles with a light broth, basking in the afternoon sunlight. No need for anything fancy, just honest, comforting food. These are the meals that invite you to slow down, take a moment to sit, breathe, and truly enjoy. Comfort doesn't always have to be loud; sometimes, it's just warm, steady, and exactly what you need to feel right at home.

Butter toast!

This establishment is on the corner of San Gabriel and Las Tuna. It's in the same strip small of CVS. Parking can be tricky, but I believe they have a lot underground. The first time another yelper and I decided to try this spot, we came around 1pm and they had run out of food. So, we ended up eating a few doors down. This time around, we were determined to try this brunch spot. So, we decided to meet here at 11:30am. However, the wait was pretty long as they have very limited seating. We didn't get seated until 12ish. By the time we were seated and ordered, I was famished. We ordered a couple of the sandwiches, the butter toast, scallion egg pancake, and a chicken leg. I can say that the food was decent but not worth the wait to sit and eat. All the food here seem snack sized, You would need to order many items to actually get full. Overall, it was a decent experience, but will probably order for to-go next time!

Hubby & I were curious to try Morning Delight Cafe after we saw they serve Taiwanese breakfast. I will forewarn: this is not the soy milk and Chinese donut Taiwanese breakfast, but rather a mix of sandwiches, burgers, some sweets, and noodles. If all tables are taken, you have to get a number from the cashier and let them know you're going to wait for a table to open up. You order when table is open so they can bring out your food to the correct table. I see a lot of to-go orders, which is what hubby & I plan to do in the future. -Iced Coffee, probably a skip next time. Was not sweet (a plus!), but not strong enough, more milk than coffee IMO. -Basil Taiwanese Sausage Egg Pancake w/ Scallions - this wasn't what I was expecting, but it was good! I liked adding some ketchup to my bites. If you like Basil and you like Taiwanese Sausage, then this is a good wrap to get. *Temperature warning though, the sausage is hot so may have to wait to cool down before biting... -Pan-Seared Crispy Chicken Thigh Sizzling Noodles w/ Tomato Meat Sauce. This reminded me of good ol' Life Cafe, does anyone else remember this? Anyway, they don't serve on a sizzling plate, but the noodles & seared chicken reminded me of that. Decent portion. Paired well with the garlic soy sauce and chili sauce they had at our table. -Mcchicken Sandwich - a light refreshing sandwich that has a piece of fried chicken in the middle. Reminds me of good old convenience store sandwiches from Taiwan & Asian 7-11's with the wrapping. Would order again! -Portuguese-style Egg Tart, hubby saw these while at the order counter & it was still warm. Not too sweet, very soft middle. Would order again if having a craving for it. The parking lot for this plaza in general gets crowded during the lunch rush and spots can be tight...there might be a long wait since they have limited seating & tables inside and only 3 small two-seater tables outside. Will be back to try their Combos and will likely order to-go for faster service.

This cafe is cutely decorated and has fun games on each table. This is a good spot for affordable meals or breakfast. What I tried: - Shrimp Burger: The shrimp was sweet and crunchy. Vegetables weren't too bad either but the buns were pretty dry. - Taiwanese Turnip Cake: This was served more on the sweeter side since they included honey to drizzle on. It was good but wish it was more crunchy! - Crispy Hash Brown: Pretty straight forward but the hash brown was VERY oily.

This place offers legit Taiwanese egg pancakes. They are very flavorful and crispy. The place is very nice, but sadly, it earned a C from the Health Department. I was a bit hesitant to try their food. Another minus was that the cashier didn't speak English. I tried to place a phone order, but the cashier couldn't understand. I ended up driving to the store to order instead.

It's known for its Taiwanese sausage egg pancake rolls, fried chicken cutlet, and other Taiwanese breakfast items. The cafe has also been featured in food vlogs and reviews, particularly for its boba and Taiwanese breakfast offerings.
