Omg this place is THE. BESSSST.
My friends and I came here as a group and we will DEFINITELY be back. The atmosphere is super cute, the staff was REALLY nice, and the food was so good that we literally ordered, ate, and then ordered again haha.
Here's what we ordered-
FOOD:
Garlic fries - as others have mentioned, they weren't all that garlicy (they have that popcorn chicken seasoning on them, so if there was much garlic on them, it was masked by that). I liked the flavor, I just wish they'd call them, like... popcorn fries or something haha
Sundried tomato chicken pesto sandwich - omg writing this review I wish I were eating this sandwich again right now haha. It came out nice and hot and the filing was creamy and sooo flavorful. The salad that came with it was nice and fresh, too. Plus, you can add a boba milk tea for a buck (hollaaaah).
Bacon ranch tater tots - exactly what you'd expect. Pretty sure someone from Wisconsin or something came up with this, but damn they are greasy, guilty goodness.
Chocolate brick toast - toasted marshmallows and whipped cream, served hot. Need I say more?
Popcorn chicken - I'm not a big chicken person (friend ordered it), but it tastes better than the popcorn chicken you get at, say, quickly. It was fresher and there were herbs or something in the batter... it was good, and it comes in a BUCKET.
Spicy dumplings - we all LOVED these, but I think what we liked most about them was the sauce. The dumplings themselves were good, but not magical, but the stuff on top of them was bommmmb. It has a kind of Thai flavor that was SO GOOD.
Taiwanese sausage combo - tastes and looks exactly how you'd expect.
Banana chocolate waffle - I didn't have high expectations for this (I was in it for the ice cream), but the waffle was hot and fresh, and when they set the plate down on our table this AMAZING waffle smell drifted around the table~ Omg, heaven~
DRINKS:
I should note that we sat outside at first and they brought our drinks in to-go cups even though we ordered "for here", so if you're just in it for the mason jars, sit inside lol. I also didn't expect much from the drinks b/c of some of the yelp reviews, but I have to say I was BLOWN AWAY. Their drinks are definitely better than Half & Half, and they're not as expensive. Woot!
Honeydew milk tea - this one was the most surprising, it REALLY tasted like honeydew (we thought it would just be vaguely sweet) - A+!
Hokkaido milk tea - The tea for this one tasted really good, but it didn't taste as 'Hokkaido'-y as some milk teas I've had. There was definitely a difference between this and the regular milk tea, though.
Boba milk tea - tasted exactly how good boba milk tea should!
Almond milk tea - I liked it, but I'm not an almond tea person (friend's order), so I can't say much.
Sea salt cream milk tea - ORDER IT. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? WHY ARE YOU HESITATING?? ORDER IT, IT'S DELICIOUS.
Thai milk tea - standard good-Thai-tea taste
Taro milk tea - yessss, so much better than the one at Half & Half lol plus it tasted like actual taro and not just sugar. Good job.
Wintermelon tea - this was really good! It was a little floral (in a good way) so you have to sip, but it was really refreshing.
Overall we loved every single thing that we ordered, and we would come back in a heartbeat. LOVE THIS PLACE. Now if they only gave out coupons... read more
