Look, we all know moving sucks. It's the worst. I'd rather get a lobotomy. HOWEVER, Breda will make this terrible activity into something that is--dare I say?--enjoyable??? I first got in touch with Joe Breda months back, and he personally drove out to our three bedroom apartment to do a walkthrough and put together an estimate. One thing I truly appreciate about how they do things is that they estimate on the high-end of costs to mitigate any unfortunate surprises when the delivery happens. While their estimate was considerably higher than other places we looked, we ultimately went with them because of Joe's excellent, responsive communication and the obvious pride he takes in his work (also helps that we originally got a recommendation from a friend who had nothing but AMAZING THINGS to say about their cross-country move). I am so, so, so glad we did. Not only was Joe flexible with us, answering all of our questions leading up to the move, he was also able to make some adjustments ahead of our move, including accommodating a move date that was two weeks earlier than our original scheduled date. We had Breda's team pack our apartment, and their crew arrived right on time (in fact, about 10 minutes early), and the packing took about six hours. Not only was the crew efficient and OBSCENELY CAREFUL with all of our belongings (seriously, we never would have been that careful if we had done the packing ourselves), but they were also all extremely nice. My wife and I had a blast talking with them throughout the day, and it really put us at ease getting to know the folks who were handling our stuff. The next day was move day. Again, the team arrived slightly ahead of schedule, got straight to work, and in a few hours had us all packed up. They were super efficient and remarkably careful getting all of our belongings safely out of the apartment and onto the truck. We even have a couch that baaaaarely fit into our back room, and the team took the utmost care getting it out through a narrow hallway without scuffing or damaging any of the walls. Honestly, we had resigned ourselves to thinking that that item would be the thing that dinged us a bit on our security deposit. SPOILER ALERT: we got our full security deposit back because the Breda crew is just that friggin good. We were scheduled for delivery to our new house the next day. Joe handled the delivery personally with his team (he even brought his two kids along, who were awesome--they're not kidding when they say they're a family-run company). He called us when they were about an hour and a half away, and basically showed up right when they estimated. Even though it was a completely different crew than who packed up our stuff, they were all fast, friendly, and very, very careful with our belongings. Not to mention, the final cost came in well under their initial estimate. If you're reading this far, wow! I hope it's obvious just how happy I am with these folks. It's been over a week since the move was completed and I'm still thinking about what a great experience Breda provided. From first touch to final delivery, they took great care of us, and I would highly, highly recommend their services to anyone. I pray to whatever deity is out there that we don't have to move again for a long, long time, but if we do... I'm calling Breda.

Once to move between houses in the city, and once to pack our things and load them into a truck that we're driving to another state ourselves. Expert Movers were incredibly professional both times. Here are some highlights: - Not a single piece of damage to any item or the house during either move. - Very hard working movers who are strong and can safely lift even very heavy items. - Locally owned so it's easy to get someone on the phone if and when you need. - All materials provided and everything completely handled. I literally sat there playing video games for a few hours during one of the moves. This last time we moved they really outdid themselves. We needed somewhere to store our 26' moving truck for the night between packing and loading. We didn't know where to store the truck so we called Expert Movers for their advice. They ended up offering to drive the truck to their lot, store it there overnight for us, and then drive it back the next morning *free of charge*! Crazy stuff. These are good people. We contacted Alliance on Wednesday and asked for a quick pack and load of our 5 bedroom home the next day. They supplied 7 guys came at 8am on Thursday and had the house emptied by 5:30pm.
