Unfortunately, it was not the same experience. They did not wrap the furniture. All my wood furniture, book cases, desk, chair legs are deeply scratch to point wood marker or fill does not hide the damage. A few boxes were crushed resulting in broken dishes and irreplacable items, and a box went missing. TMAT has a Quality Control team to assist with damage, however, you must have original receipts for all items damaged for any reimbursement. Who keeps receipts on gifts and furniture purchased a few years ago. So needless to say, no reimbursement nor a phone call to make amends. I cannot recommend TWO MEN AND A TRUCK.

When I went back to retrieve my new range( $2200), it was completely damaged and unusable. I went back to the storage unit and took everything out to look for other items of damage. I found that my sofa and loveseat were damaged along with some other items. I have photos of all the damage. I filed a claim and am getting the run around. They are offering .30 per pound on the damaged items, hiding behind some Illinois law. I even went to customer service which stated the same thing. Since I initialed all the boxes on the contract I was only entitled to .30 a pound. What a racket! They do not take pride in their work or customer service! Do not ever use two men and a truck!

They're also happy to provide a quote (not to be set in stone) versus insisting that you call them first. They were also reasonable. My entire interaction was online. Though there were doubts if they would show up...like clockwork Keep It Up was at my home. They make sure to provide reminders a day in advance. They also let you know their expected arrival when they depart from their facility. When it comes to the moving itself, two nice gentlemen did the job well. It took 7 hours and two rounds. There was an extra charge for our sleeper sofa, based on it's weight. It is important to note that their fees include disassembly and reassembly of furniture. We had sooo much random stuff and we weren't able to box it all. Per our request, the movers took almost everything we pointed at. I did a lot of moving when I still had hair on my head. It was nice to have the pros handle everything for a change. I'm so done with moving. It is so taxing, especially when you've been in one place for so long. But if you must, then Keep It Up is highly recommended by me.
