Was a typical diner- with the decor and atmosphere (good thing). Service was off. I sat at the bar, ordered a cocktail. A different server then took my food order. Well, I received my food prior to receiving my drink. I had the meatloaf, mashed potato's and Cole slaw. It was all good, and I enjoyed it. But, the menu said the meatloaf was made in house - I don't know for sure, but it didn't look or taste like it. Would definitely go back.

This diner is so cute. Breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed the house hot sauces. There were several different entrances which can be a bit confusing.

Flies. I've been here four times and I think today's visit will be the last. The decor and vibe is fun (4 stars) the food is relatively average diner grub (3 stars), and service is good (4 stars), but there are always excessive flies. Why are there always so many flies? It's gross. I shouldn't be wondering if the tickle on my arm is my hair or a fly. I shouldn't feel like I have to check if I accidentally trapped a fly in the to go box I put my leftovers in. Concerning.

Moonlight Diner was definitely one of the highlights of our short trip. The moment you pull up to the diner the 50's vibe just hits. The pictures and decorations on the wall give you that "good 'ol days" feel. Service was a little slow but it was packed when we got there so it wasn't a big deal. The menu is huge which is usually a red flag for me but the food was actually fresh and well prepared. I had the Moonlight Signature Burger. It comes with ranch on the burger which was surprisingly delicious. The fries have a nice rough texture to them which I love. My meal was definitely on point. We'll be back in the Denver area in the next year or two and may stop here again being that it's so close to the airport.

I ordered the walking burrito and explicitly said no meat. I double clarified no meat. I ate half my burrito and pulled a big chunk of pork out of my mouth. I know Denver is big on green chili, but this one did not state it had green chili. See the attached photo. The waitress was extremely rude and tried to blame me. I haven't eaten meat in 14 years. Super rude and no accountability.

Moonlight Diner 3.5/10 Second time at this nice Little diner stop by tower and happy that they are open bright and early and close at 9! Stopped by and we were seated right away and place was clean and the diner was pretty simple than the other ones ive been too so far :). Menu offered a whole variety of breakfast classics as well as burgers/handhelds and milkshakes which ive still yet to tried. Decaf coffee was good, I could drink it multiple times, will definetely order next time. Sweet Potato fries were really delicious and the steak flavor was okay, but atleast it was still tender/cooked perfectly, just wished it punch more but not bad. Mash potato was pretty disappointing. Patty melt was perfect and fries that came with it were perfect. HUGE PORTION TOO!! Ive also ordered a side of Mac which was also reallyyyy good. Service was fast and we were checked on plenty of times and the lady was nice. .. Pretty simple, nothing really over the top, but otherwise satisfied belly and will come back if craving more

I had a great experience overall. The service was excellent our server was attentive, friendly, and maintained a positive attitude throughout the visit. The food was also very enjoyable, I ordered the chicken with biscuits and gravy and it was absolutely delicious. The cozy atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a relaxing breakfast. The only downside was the parking it was a bit difficult to find a spot close to the restaurant.

This is not a gourmet spot, but it sure hits the spot. After power shopping at Sam's and Costco all in one day, my boyfriend and I decided to deviate from the dinner plan and go out to eat. I wanted a burger he wanted to sit down meal and we ended up at the Moonlight Diner. Walking into the diner is like a step back in time. The decor is 1950s memorabilia with chrome touches and leather wrapped seating. It's everything you would think a diner would be but the food is so much more. They have a full bar as well as dairy treats, including shakes and malts. They also have breakfast all day and love their pancakes. They also serve barbecue. But I went for the patty melt. And my other half went for breakfast. His breakfast was the mountain man breakfast and was full of meats, eggs hashbrowns, and Ken with pancakes, but he opted for English buffet instead. It also came with a side of toast. It was a very ample breakfast. My patty melt sure did hit the spot. It was a perfectly medium cooked hamburger on rye with cheddar, and Swiss melted with grilled onions and thousand island dressing. Instead of fries, I went for the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was comfort food to the max. My date also got the peanut butter shake. He slurped that down in a hot minute. He said it was wonderful. He offered me a taste at least twice before I noticed it was gone. There's also meatloaf on the menu as well as a pulled pork barbecue Frito pie and they have a Frito pie burger. They also serve meatloaf. They have several classics and several twists. I recommend going there. There's something for everyone.

Great feel, and clean too

Staying at the Gaylord Rockies and decided to venture out for a non-Marriott breakfast. $9 Lyft ride or a 20 minute walk. Awesome classic diner feel with a great menu. I opted for the Meat Eaters omelet with pancakes vs toast with hash browns. Super friendly staff, seems family owned and run. I will come back for dinner one night to try their milk shakes.

I was out in Denver for work a couple of weeks ago and was staying at a hotel near this place; so I decided to check it out for an early dinner. The place is located right on Tower Road and there is a nicely sized parking lot on the premises. I kept it simple with a cup of green verde chili and a chicken Cobb salad. Both dishes were good and the salad was big enough to box up and take what was left. The service was quick and polite. The ambiance was nice and the diner is decorated in kitschy Americana decor.

Solid breakfast option! Cute diner was busy but still got quickly seated and served. Went with the chicken and waffles. The waffle was AMAZING. Light and fluffy inside and crispy outside - cooked to perfection. The chicken had a great breading was a bit bland. Next time I would ask for a side of gravy to assist with the chicken. Definitely not "Roscoe's" but a nice breakfast!

Great good, huge portions...! I unexpectedly stayed the night in Denver while traveling home from Tampa and found this place close to the Courtyard Marriott I stayed at. The place was busy and there was a wait for larger parties, but being by myself, I was able to be seated right away at the counter. The service was friendly and nice and Janessa took good care of me. This was a classic diner feel for sure. They even offered cocktails and handmade milkshakes. I'll definitely eat here agin if in a similar circumstance.

The fried chicken plate, although hefty, was mediocre. The chicken was not all that flavorful and also dry. The biscuit though with butter and jam hit the spot! My wife and I stopped into Steuben's to have a snack (donut holes) and a couple of rounds of cocktails. We used the Dining Out Passbook for BOGO cocktails with purchase of food. Our bartender (who was perfectly friendly and helpful) said he needed his manager to get the free cocktail. To be clear, we had literally no interaction with this woman at any point. So it's not like we did something to piss her off. When she arrived at the POS station - behind the bar about six feet from where we were sitting - she proceeded to complain about the "a-holes" (edited for language) using the Passbook and what a bunch of a-holes those customers were (not knowing we were in earshot). And when the bartender - who knew who we were and that we could hear everything - said in a hushed tone "No, they were nice" she proceeded to tell him that she didn't care and that they're just a-holes. I've never been treated so shoddy in my life in a restaurant for no other reason than using a promotional discount that they voluntarily participated in. It's bad enough to attack your customers for using a discount. But doing it behind the bar where customers can hear you is beyond unacceptable. And doing it when the customers you're talking about are within earshot is the most offensive thing I've ever expereinced at a restaurant. You may go to Steuben's and have a nice meal, but just be aware that behind the bar, they're talking about what an a-hole you are.

The aesthetic extends to the interior, complete with old school coin-operated jukeboxes. I'm a huge fan of breakfast food and diners, so my expectations were already high; Rosie's delivered. This is the spot for delicious omelettes and milkshakes wrapped in yesteryear nostalgia. If I lived in the Denver metro, I would make this a regular weekend spot. I'm certain many in Colorado are well aware, but I extend the recommendation to my fellow out-of-towners. Have a cup of cofffee, omelette, and maybe a milkshake; you might leave stuffed full, but not upset. I enjoyed a Greek Omelette and a cup of coffee while my wife ordered biscuits and gravy. While this joint isn't fancy, they are doing it right. Reminds me of my childhood days when you could take the whole family out to eat for less than $30, and you're eating GOOD! The cinnamon roll is a must-get. The roundhouse meal was fantastic. The chef even came out to make sure we were enjoying everything. Old-fashioned pricing and hospitality FTW! While this place looks like a hole in the wall (and it may be), it's truly worth the visit. You'll find classic, homey vibes with great food at truly unreal prices for this day and age. Later I asked AI to find me a great breakfast spot that wouldn't break the bank, and this place was the number one recommendation. Holy shit... this is one of the best breakfasts, if not the best breakfast I've ever had. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The pancakes were warm, fluffy, and so good they honestly had me wanting to come back every single morning. They're also famous for their homemade cinnamon roll, and now I know why. It was absolutely massive, covered in butter, and did not dissapoint. The real secret star though is the breakfast burrito. Stuffed with meat, eggs, hash browns, and cheese, then topped with their homemade green chili gravy. Holy moly... that gravy is a work of art. I don't even know how to describe it other than I wanted to drink it. The flavor is unbelievable. I ended up eating breakfast here every day of our trip, which is something I literally never do while traveling because I like trying different places. Now here's the crazy part... the prices. This place feels like home and the prices match. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw breakfast this affordable. It feels like stepping back 10 or 15 years. Five people could have a filling breakfast here for about what two people would spend at First Watch or a lot of the trendy breakfast places. The staff was friendly, the food came out fast, and the whole place just has that comfortable local diner feeling that is getting harder and harder to find. Overall, I'll be eating here every single time I visit Denver no matter how far out of the way it is. This place is a national treasure and needs to be protected at all costs. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to spend way too much time trying to recreate that green chili gravy at home... I already know I won't get it right, but I'm gonna try anyways.

Sam's No. 3 is a colorful Denver location and an interesting cross between classic East Coast Greek diner and Sports Bar. The super long menu ranges from extensive breakfast choices (pages!) to burgers and sandwiches, tacos and burritos and steaks, chops and fish. Don't skip the Mexi-Rado Grub menu page's Pork Barbacoa Tacos -- which were enough food to split and a very tasty item. My second visit brought me to my main event: the Reuben. Served on marble rye grilled with the sandwich, the corned beef was thick and the Swiss resided on both sides of the sandwich. Sauerkraut was extremely light and didn't lend to the taste at all. That was a disappointment. The meat was thicker sliced but not the thickest. The stack was generous. The quality was so-so as during my visit it was a bit fatty, making for a chewy experience. The Thousand Island dressing was lightly applied and didn't account for much. Overall, this sandwich was a bit disappointing. Not terrible mind you, just that there was room for improvement. The pickle could have strolled right out of Manhattan. It was great. The side substitute of tomato, feta and cucumber was tasty and a nice finish. My cocktail was a rye old fashioned made to perfection by Elise. I had a second since walking from here. A solid 3.5 sandwich. Ambience 4.0 Service 4.5.
