Super refreshing, has lychee bits, and lychee flavor is dominant. 7/10 Purple Yam w/ cheese foam - was a good try but just ok in the end. Wouldn't get again. 9/10 Caramel Milk Tea w/ Dalgona Coffee - coffee flavor was a great mix. I absolutely love this place to death, and I tell everyone I know about it, but I came here on Sunday Sept 15 at 8:45pm thinking they would still be open because they close at 9pm and the entire store was completely dark. Not a worker in sight inside the store, so they definitely closed up much earlier than 8:45. Looked around the window, and the hours sign clearly states that they close at 9pm on Sunday. I was so devastated because I moved out of town recently, so this was a visit on my trip back, and it was a place I really looked forward to. 3 stars because they are the only place around that does Yakult Foam, I would give them 5 stars since they typically have no wait and quick service, but being closed early without the staff even sticking around until the posted closing time is upsetting. If the place is understaffed, please just change the hours to reflect an earlier closing time so customers don't waste time driving to the plaza. read more

This is the best boba place I've tried in the SGV area. I've tried different types of milk tea bobas in LA and nothing hits like this one. The milk tea is so delicious and refreshing and the bobas are so sweet and chewy just how they should be. I like that you can choose different sweetness levels. I've tried the 75% and it does not taste watery like other places I've tried. Friendly staff and owner, great customer service, great deals and family owned. Also, this is a great spot to hang out with friends and/or work remotely. One of my favorites! Whenever my friends are in the area, I always recommend trying Moo Tea. At this point, I've tried most of the top drinks. My picks always include the ones with Yakult foam. For instance, peach tea with Yakult, strawberry tea with Yakult, and lychee with Yakult are super solid drinks. I think Moo tea is one of the few places that have this unique foam flavor, and I definitely think it's worth coming here to try. I prefer it to the more common cheese foams because it's lighter, tangy, and pairs so well with a fruit-based tea. This place also includes pieces of the fruit in the drinks themselves, making them taste a lot less artificial. Furthermore, there is plenty of parking in the plaza out in front. I have to preface this review by saying I don't like to give 3 stars especially for small businesses. But I felt this review was necessary to get my message across to the owners of this place of what happened to one of our drinks, so it happens to be mine. We came here yesterday and got a few drinks on our way home. Some of their popular ones like their matcha latte, peach tea with yakult foam, and of course their ever famous purple yam fresh milk. I got to try the peach tea, it was terrific. The uniqueness of the yakult foam tasted good, but it wasn't my drink. So the purple yam fresh milk tea I got tasted ok at first. You get a big gush of milk in the beginning. Then I realized you should mix it around with your straw. Apparently you need their big straw to do this as this mixture is quite thick. But what I ended up tasting in my drink was a small piece of plastic. A purple piece of plastic not longer than 1/2 inch. I'm not the type of person that would be deterred by hair, or something that can be easily taken out. But apparently I had it again on another sip but this time the plastic was more of a shredded piece. Last night, I had a bit of a pain in my stomach and not sure if this was the culprit but it was pretty much the only thing I had the past 12 hours. I am not sure how they make this drink here, and I am not sure if I was an isolated incident but I can't say I would return here again. Tasty drinks, ELITE music taste, good prices, chill environment for hanging out or studying, has wifi and plenty of ports. They did mess up my request for "no ice" but most places do so I don't factor that into my reviews anymore. I think it matters more what they do after. When I told them, they apologized, took out the ice, then added more cheese foam and tea to replace the amount that was scooped out with the ice. Their attention to detail and good customer service more than makes up for the minor mistake. I got the jasmine milk tea with cheese foam and boba and it was pretty good. My friend got the purple yam milk and she said it wasn't bad but just tasted like sweet milk so wasn't that special. I'll def be back for another study session and try some other drinks. read more

Decided to try out this local tea shop! Cute little shop with spacious indoor dining. It was very quiet in the store, so this would be a great spot to study with a nice drink! I got the #2 of their top ten, peach tea with Yakult foam (I got mine at half sugar). My drink was definitely not half sugar, but it was still pretty good. It was certainly on the sweeter end. The Yakult foam had a nice salted zing to it. I love how there were peach chunks at the bottom, but it was too difficult to drink it through my straw towards the end. I heard that they are well known for their purple yam drinks. I was told that there were delicious yam bits in it, which sounds very intriguing. I think this drink tastes delicious, just the right balance of fruit and green tea with small chunks of real peaches included in the drink. Wow, I am pleasantly surprised by Moo Tea! Honestly speaking, I really dont care for ube or purple yam much and I rather eat original Korean pumpkin sweet potato any day but I really enjoyed the Purple Yam Fresh Milk prepared by Moo Tea. After you give it a good shake and is mixed well thoroughly, it becomes heavenly! Its super creamy and yet not too sweet nor overpowering. Price was less than $5 which is very affordable knowing most of drinks nowadays are over $5 almost everywhere you go. My mom loves sweet potatoes and she hardly ever drinks anything besides coffee but I think she will definitely enjoy this drink like myself. You really don't have to adjust the sweetness. It's probably a 5-6 on a scale of 10. Only ONE SIZE of cup available. They do have a stamp card so be sure to keep that in your wallet. The first 2 times, the drink had lots of creamy purple yam and pudding. The 3rd time I got it it had about half of what I was already used to so it would be nice if it was more consistent. It is located quaintly next to the 168 Market, and is really low key - a true hidden gem that you simply have to try. The tea is great quality, the boba is consistently al dente with the right amount of resistance, and the quality of sweetness is not noticeably artificial. One of the most try drinks is the strawberry yakult milkshake. It has the classic yogurt - cheesy - dairy flavor that approaches that of cream cheese frosting, and the strawberry flavor is really refreshing. It is almost the classic yogurt flavor that you experience in Chinese yogurts that you essentially cannot find in American stores. This drink is a 5/5. I couldn't really tell that this drink was a "tea" because of the sweetness and yakult. I was only able to drank a little less than half of it because it got a little too heavy for me. I probably wouldn't reorder this drink personally because it's a tad too sweet for me to drink entirely, and I prefer stronger tea flavors. However, if you like yogurty drinks and canned peaches, this is a good choice. It reminds me a little bit of yoplait in peach flavor,but in a more watery form. Overall 4/5. Dalgona Coffee Cheese Frappe: Nice coffee flavor, but not very strong. Perhaps, I'm just used to drinking expressos, vietnamese, and thai coffees, so this drink felt very mild in coffee flavor for me. It reminded me of drinking a less-sweet version of starbuck's Java chip frappe (without the whipped cream and chocolate inside).
