I tried to go to this fabulous establishment last weekend but unfortunately they were closed during business hours due to an unexpected passing. Fortunately I had an opportunity to check them out today and I was not disappointed. This place is decorated in the cutest way - pink accents, large cow pictures everywhere, and a disco ball. The iconic hot pink benches unfortunately are no longer pink but that's okay because at least they still have benches outside. Many ice cream shops in Baltimore City do not have any outdoor seating. They are also located a short walk from Federal Hill Park which has tons of shady and sunny benches with a gorgeous view. I got a brownie milkshake and it was amazing. It was large, extra thick (just the way I like it) and it had a chunk of brownie in literally every sip (YUM!). The parking is a little limited but is not too terrible considering it is a city, just keep your eyes peeled and you will find a spot. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The only downside is they have about a 1.5" lip to enter their store and if you are in a power wheelchair you are not going to be able to get in. However you can have someone else go inside and grab your ice cream for you. I also believe they sometimes have a walkup window open. Maybe one day they will put a ramp on the front door (I hope so). This store deserves all of its five star reviews. The ice cream is delicious and there was no wait as we went in towards closing. Hospitality shown by the staff almost made me feel like it was pre-covid as they told me I could try flavors. I tried the matcha soft serve and moo moo pie (chocolate with peanut butter swirls and reeses pieces). Eventually settled on the apple pie which literally tasted like an apple pie a la mode with the whipped cream. Had this on top of the Friday Fudge special that includes brownie, one scoop of ice cream and four toppings for a great deal. Our friends also got chocolate banana walnut and said it was great. All the flavors tasted super fresh. I was told they do Sunday Belgian waffle ice cream specials which I will definitely be back for. It was too delicious I forgot to take a photo. After I finished my law school finals, I knew exactly how I wanted to celebrate: a walk to Moo Moo Cows for ice cream. My husband and I used to live in Fed Hill so the walk was a lot closer, but we decided it would be fun to walk all the way from Canton (where we live now) to "earn" our ice cream! Moo Moo Cows never disappoints. The owners and staff are so friendly and the ice cream is the best in Baltimore (I say this as a good Midwestern girl who knows her dairy). I had coconut and butter pecan, which were both so flavorful and delish, in the crispiest waffle cone of my life. My husband had strawberry cheesecake and rum raisin, which were equally good. This place is perfection from start to finish. The walk up window has someone ready to wait on you, answer questions, chat. The owner and his partner were so lovely. We could have stayed all day just to talk. I am not vegan but ordered the vegan Blueberry (order a fun mix that they came up with the night before). This place was so cute and the staff was so friendly! I loved all the cow decorations, and it was convenient that there was some seating right outside the door, so if you wanted to wait for your order, you could do that outside for a few minutes. I took off a star for a few reasons - they were out of waffle cones, and they were out of the ice cream flavor I wanted! I was a little disappointed by this, but they did let us know that they would be back in stock with all their ice cream later this week. I asked for the cookie dough ice cream, but I ended up getting a salted caramel crunch in a sugar cone. I didn't say anything as it was super delicious anyways. My husband had a "Sunday Brownie Sundae" and while he wanted to love it, he wasn't a huge fan of the soft serve on the brownie. Maybe it was personal preference - the brownie was very rich, and the soft serve was super sweet and delicious so together it just seemed like a lot. I'd still give them four stars and recommend checking them out if you're in the Fed Hill area! Hopefully they'll be back with a full inventory of ice cream when we return :) read more

Love this place already! I had my first Moo Moo Cows recently and just cannot get over how great the experience was. Not only was my ice cream delicious and waffle cone fresh but the entire staff was extremely friendly, and I loved that they had that family environment, remembering customers names and stories. I was passing by while walking my dog and they stopped me to give my dog a treat! Later I went back for ice cream and they remembered my dog which I thought was sweet! I was visiting Baltimore yesterday with my (adult) son for Mother's Day. We were headed to a competitor's nearby ice cream shop after brunch, but we spotted this place on our way to brunch and were intrigued. We asked our brunch waitress about the various ice cream shops in this neighborhood, and she recommended Moo Moo Cows which is a newer addition to the area. We are so glad she did! My son and I consider ourselves to be ice cream "snobs" (aficionados might be a nicer term). Moo Moo Cows was beyond excellent. The ice cream was so fresh. The ingredients so flavorful. My son had a chocolate with peanut butter flavor, the peanut butter was so REAL, so natural. I had a cookies and cream type flavor, the cookies were perfect. I also had a mint chocolate chip flavor. My son doesn't typically like mint, but he tasted it and said "wow". Plus, this place is decorated in a very charming manner, has a couple of tables if you're comfortable indoors, and a couple of benches outside. The owners were working there and they are so nice, too. Overall A++++. Next time we go to Baltimore, we will definitely put another visit on our "to do" list. read more
