Honestly, ice cream this good doesn't even need toppings. Pair it with a waffle cone, and it's the perfect combo. Street parking is available, but it can get pretty busy on the weekends. Don't be afraid to park a little farther away, it's worth the walk. Take your time walking to the shops around and then treat yourself to some ice cream at The Charmery. Good lord, I almost forgot about the red velvet cookie. Don't leave without getting one.

The gelato I noticed was very fresh and had a large selection of flavors. It seems like a neighborhood spot, inside was packed and outside people were sitting and enjoying their gelato. I'm staying in Baltimore for the week and after dinner I walked to Pitango Gelato for dessert. There are lots of fruit flavored but I was craving their hazelnut gelato made with imported Piedmontese hazelnuts. Heavenly! Those ladies scooped me up something that's free of artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. I mean, grass fed cows are providing the organic milk for this Baltimore staple. I'm just passing through town, I made a stop to try the best gelato in town.

The spot was hard to locate at first until I realized that it's located in the food market. I came for the popular honey graham ice cream but also for my favorite flavor: cookies n cream. Sadly, they didn't have any cookies n cream at the moment, but luckily they did have the honey graham. The service was solid: the worker was nice and I was able to sample four flavors (key lime pie, honey graham, vanilla bean, and chocolate love) without any issue. After sampling the flavors, I decided to get a triple cup of 2x honey graham and 1x vanilla bean. - The honey graham was like that (I see why it's popular). I let my mom sample it, and she enjoyed it so much that she got her own the next day. - The vanilla bean was pretty good and paired well with the honey graham. I visited for the 1st time 2 weeks ago, and I have been at least 4-5 times already. I love how fresh the food is on the hot deli bar, and I am so thankful that it's behind protective glass for an employee to gather and present instead of it being in an open area, etc. Although the cashiers are normally less than excited to see any customer, they work fast, and efficient.
