I'm truly disappointed because I the boutique nail is a little cramped and you do have climb stairs don't arrive early because the chair outside the door is very uncomfortable to sit in! on the first floor they're very friendly they greet you as you come in not connected with the nail salon ! I love to shop small I patronize small businesses as much as humanly possible and avoid the big boxes and the the women that talk about their native tongue. I'm not about to go somewhere and use a translator to know what they're saying that's a terrible practice.

However, the last time I was there, I had an unfortunate incident with my dog on my big toe so to fix it I simply asked the lady to put on some gel to even it out a little bit. She then tried to put polish on without putting gel on, and I corrected her saying no that's not how I want it. I don't want it all rough and bumpy so she sent me to the chair to get my fill for my nails... keep in mind, my feet already had a pedicure, and my big toe was primed and ready to go, all she had to do was put gel on and even it out like I asked them several times at this point. Another lady prepped my toe nail yet again, even though it just had been done and SHE RIPPED OFF MY TOENAIL, like almost completely off, thinking it was fake when it wasn't. Obviously. I don't know about you, but I can tell the difference between real or fake nails, and I don't even work on them professionally. When I got angry with her about it she acted like I was the problem and made me feel absolutely horrible so now two weeks later I am still dealing with having a ripped off toenail that I'm praying to the gods that it ends up growing back in and staying. I don't know if it will, but I will never be going back this nail salon for as long as I live. If I could give zero stars I would. So disgusting.

Towards the end of the service after watching the movie they had on, my neck was so sore after looking up for so long and barely talking to the nail tech. She asked if I've been with her before and I said no, a friend referred me to her and she left it at that. I noticed that the nude was definitely not a good shade for my skin tone but it was already too late to change. After leaving I inspected them again and realized they were too think and the sides were a bit sloppy on blending and when she drilled them the under layers were showing too much. After a week I noticed that my two of the nails were lifting and one have popped off while doing laundry. After that I noticed that my pinky was sore. After most of them started to lift I took off all the nails and my pinky was broken in half. I've had my nails done many many times but never had it break my nail in half at the bed like that.
