I have been here before and the girl that did my nails was nice and they last over a month so i figured i go back, horrible idea. I had an appt at 10am they called said they needed to change it to 1045 ok cool. Got there and didnt get seen till 1115 im like ok yellow flag. She started my nails and my son was sitting next to me and was watching his tablet she grabbed his tablet and was like change this. That is absolutely not ok behavio. This isn't ur kid or ur personal belonging. How dare you take something from my kid. And on top of that my nails look like they were done by a 10 year old and then they charged me 85.00 for it. My daughter changed her mind on the pedicure and wanted shellac instead - they could have been unable to help, but instead seemed happy to adjust for us. My nails were on POINT. My nails turn out amazing every time!! I always go to Annie and she makes my nails look so good! They are always even which not many people I've had in the past can do and the facility is cute and clean! My only complaint is that designs are expensive to get (I believe it's $30 extra but I could be mistaken) so I can typically only do solid color. Would 100% recommend this place! read more

First I'd like to say this is the first "bad" experience I have had at Fancy Nails and they did seem a bit busy at the time we came in with only three employees working. That being said, this was a special treat for my daughter as her senior prom is approaching. She showed a picture of the nails she wanted (pictured below) to the staff and they seemed confident they could replicate it. Unfortunately that was not the case. Some of the nails are crooked and the overall look is sloppy. I understand wanting to service every customer that walks in the door but if designed nails aren't your specialty let another staff member take over. As a paying customer I would rather wait or come back to see someone who can do the design. Should we have spoken up at the time, yes. Lesson learned I guess. Sadly we won't be returning to Fancy Nails anytime soon. read more

I went in for a toenail color change, and Kim help me to find a nicer color, I requested to have my toes cut and filed down, because she was going to just paint them, she wanted to charge me but when I said they normally cut and file my nails down before they color them. and she asked and got approval to cut and filed down my toes before painting them. That was really nice of your shop,. Because that's what other shops do,. And thank you Kim for your customer service. read more

The lady here was really nice but completely outdated with current looks and styles. These were supposed to be matte and ended up like this. She acted like there was something wrong with my stiletto style nails and suggested to cut them to coffin. I asked her an opinion on cute styles and she just said idk what you want. And kinda pushy to change my mind. Im annoyed and pissed I spent money on this garbage. I won't be returning. read more

So I tried this place because so far I've found no good nail salons. The color selection was nice after I finally got to see all the options. I came in and asked for a dip manicure. Was sat at a pedicure chair. Thought that was strange but maybe there was a wait. No problem. She turned the water on so at this point obviously I'm getting a pedicure. Whatever. The pedicures too changed twice. The first took no regard to the fresh scrape on my shin which was why I didn't ask for a pedicure in the first place and instead rubbed the sugar scrub into the wound and followed up with menthol lotion that burned. The pedicure itself hurt as they cut the nails so short and into the sides it was painful. The paint is stuck to the side and want even offered a color because "you just want white again right" I'm not confrontational so my fault. Next the nails. I came in to get my nails done because one of my nails had cracked with dip after a month of having them on. I told three people that I spoke with including the person doing my nails how sore it was from bending and being cracked. After she soaked them off with the tinfoil she pulled on the nail so hard I almost cried. I shrieked out I again repeated that my nail was super sore from being cracked and it seem like it continued the whole time being that way.They use the Dremel all around the nails and my nails have never been more sore and fragile skin is missing everywhere on the side of my nails it's so painful and I had to go back to get it fixed because it cracked within the next morning. Just pass. It's like half Amazon store half salon that no one really wants to be working at. read more

Oh my word! I was hesitant that no one was here but we just beat the crowd! Mani and Pedis please! The pedi was amazing the wax, the exfoliate scrub, the massage, and the filing of my nails woah! Blown away with the laughs, interactions, and conversations the women had with us! Great experience now that's a way to shine for a first visit! The mani, it was great! I was looking for a nail spot for a while and I drove from Tacoma straight here. I am happy I found this place and I will come back. The place is clean and the customer service was fast. When they start working on your nails they take out the tools needed which are in sterile bags and they get to work. I didn't get the lady's name but she was quick and friendly. Well, when I first walked in I didn't think I was going to like it because it is a little messy and a lot of things in there That have nothing to do with a nail salon. However It was highly recommended to me by my mother-in-law and sister-in-law and they do not go anywhere that is not top notch. I got a gel manicure (no nails) and a gel luxury pedicure. I will say this was one of the best pedicures that I've ever had and they used real fruit on my legs as well as a sugar scrub all in a similar scent that I chose as well as a hot stone massage on my calves. 4 stars only because a bit pricey but will return. read more

Do not go here if you want a good job done. I wish I could post photos with this review. I asked how much my daughter's mani and pedi would be because usually kids are cheaper, she's 10. She was nice but kept taking every customer even though it was closing time and they only had one other woman. I sat for what felt like forever with my feet in the water until it started cooling down. They rushed to do my daughter's toenails but they turned out find anyway. No bottom coat. Then a man comes out the back to do her fingers, I didn't even realize what was happening until he was almost done bc we were watching a show... he was saying something about how he needs her hand * very rudely and annoyed * bc she was adjusting her chair. I looked at her nails, this is literally the worst paint job I've ever seen, she could have done a better job with her left hand, but he didn't even clean them up and clip/file them at all! I wish I could show pictures!!! Anyway, my pedi, again no bottom coat and my nails are different lengths. Also I had to dip my feet in the community bowl of hot wax that everyone was dipping their bare feet in. Oh and then he actually asked me for a tip when I was paying! Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is bc the women were NICE, they gave us water, and tried to be sweet but I'll never waste money here again. read more

My mom has been coming here for 18+ years since I was a baby and has always had amazing service. They are great people. The place is nice and clean The service is great. It can be a little pricey but it is worth it. Foot Massages are great. There are so many options to choose from. I always have a hard time picking. I was quite disappointed with the nail set I got. I broke half of one nail very easily within two days of getting them. Two weeks later and almost nearly 5 nails were broken in half. I am soooo pissed about my experience here me and my friend went for a pedicure today and they said they had time so we picked a color waited 10 minutes not knowing what they wanted us to do or how long the wait would be then they finally had us sit in the chairs we sat for 30 minutes with no water or anything and we were freezing finally they started my water my friend still no water then she took off my polish trimmed my toenails then put a sugar scrub on my legs and feet for like 30 seconds and rinsed then put lotion on then left me for like 10 minutes my legs were freezing again mind you my friend still had no water then they put warm towels on my legs left me again and by the time she came back to me she was just gonna polish my toes and be done she didn't get the dead skin off my feet or massage me at all and my friend still hadn't got service so after being there for an hour with horrible service we left. They still charged me 25$ I will never go back there they didn't apologize or anything read more

I came here on Sunday. There were 2 ladies working & 1 was already with a guest. I asked for just chelac on my nails (no manicure as this is not my normal place). The selection was very limited and looked ran down. The lady took 40 min to simply paint my nails n they still look like a 4 yr old did them. To charge 20 bucks for this service was just insane.
