Everyone who works here is very nice, but my recent visit here wasn't the best. I got a basic shellac manicure four days ago, and they started chipping after 3 days! Normally my manicures last at least two weeks without chipping, but this wasn't the case here. I did nothing out of the ordinary, and I feel like I wasted $30. It's really irritating. First time to try this nail salon. They are an awesome team since I felt welcomed upon arrival to their salon and I was seated right away. Though there were only 3 of them attending to customers, they did their job to make sure everyone is attended to. Pedicure was great and the lady assigned to me had good customer service and always asked if the water was okay or too warm. I also had my eyebrows done (wax) and the lady was a pro. I think the only thing missing was a mirror where I can see my brows after it was waxed/styled. Overall, it was a good experience. I do recommend them and will go back there. read more

I've been here once for a mani & pedi last year and was very unsatisfied. Things seemed a bit shady as far as cleanliness and attention to detail was definitely not present. By the time I was done, I was disappointed with my nails cause there was unevenness, bubbling and my cuticles were not cleaned very well of the extra polish. In addition they didn't make me feel very welcome and spoke in Spanish to the customers. Erika did my nails. It was my first time coming here to get my nails done. I called as soon as they opened and made an appointment. They were willing to work with me and got me in. I got there and got seated right away which was nice. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and I think she got it spot on. I think I'll just go a little shorter next time. My original prices estimate was 50 but it they looked exactly how I wanted and were done well it's worth it to me. She ended up only charging me 45 which was very nice of her. Still a bit pricy but I love them and that's what matters. They were all friendly though there wasn't a lot of conversation. I'm anemic and hypoglycemic so my hands are always shaky and she responded well and just moved me as needed. She took her time with me and constantly checked her work. I suggest making an appointment and the price really is worth it. My only thing is that there could have been a little more conversation and the decor and equipment is a bit outdated. I was really surprised when I walked in the door here. This place seemed like it should have been an office space, with the carpet and carpeted wall dividers. I've never been to a nail shop that is completely carpeted, even underneath the spa chairs. The spa chairs were seriously ripped and in need of replacing. Instead of foot soak, they squirt liquid hand soap into the bowls for your pedicure. The service was great, their prices are cheaper than the last place I'd been going to, and the gal who did my nails was extremely sweet and helpful, seeing I was on crutches. I prefer a more updated shop, so will continue looking for my new "home." read more

I'm looking for somewhere that could do fun designs and I came across this place. The ladies were nice they did work well but very slow. I got dipped with a design on the fingers in two days later it chipped. It was a very small chip I didn't think much of it yet over the next few days it started to chip terribly and the polish started to tear off. Less then a week out I'm left with gross licking nails after spending over $50. I'm extremely picky about my nails and was rather mortified. I was frustrated and didn't want them to do my nails again because of my first experience I called asking what their refund policy was, understanding that I would not get a full refund because they did use their time and product. I they told me to come in, so I came in after work today and they proceeded to hand me my full charge amount. I returned the majority of the money because that's not fair to them as they did you work with their product in their time and they should be compensated for that. When I explained my perspective they said it's not fair but whatever and proceeded to walk away. I'm grateful that they refunded the money that they did however I do not think I will return. read more

So I'm from Cali and I came by to visit my sister. I'm very picky so when my sister made an appointment she made sure it was someone good. Everyone was sweet and it is comfy (maybe cuz it's a sister business) I got the older sister (forgot her name) and my sister got the younger sister. Although we got the same color and designs hers were more cleaner. We had gotten gems and for some reason they used hand gel. Usually if you put on some gel top coat as adhesive it works better and looks cleaner. Mine looked so gross up close with all the gel bubbles coming out from the squished gems. Feel like I could have done it better for free... they had a lotta people coming in so maybe she was rushed.... sadly i didn't notice the bubbles till after but we had to rush to the airport due to my flight. Also after couple days the gel started chipping off and it looked gnarly... not to mention some nails weren't even. Pedi was done by the cousin and she was so sweet and did a wonderful job! I wouldn't mind coming back but I would ask for the younger sister next time. If you are picky as I am, I would suggest the same. read more

They have so many shellac colors to choose from and my nails look so much nicer than they ever have. I enjoyed Melanie's Nails. There was no wait, and the staff are friendly. I have long nails, and they lasted a full 2 weeks with no chips, cracks or breaks. My only suggestion is to use alcohol after doing a gel fill so that the nails won't feel tacky and get dirty. Otherwise, great experience. read more

I made a "do you have time to see me right now?" appointment and they made time for me. They took off my acrylics, the method as different (and didn't hurt) then she did a gel manicure. Normally, my nails are too jacked up to do anything after removing acrylics but the polish looks good. My son is a runner and the did a pedicure for him. Awesome place!! My nails look AMAZING! I got a full set and they've last 3+ weeks with absolutely no chipping, peeling, or breakage. She filed the nails down a lot, which wasn't the most comfortable feeling, but it was totally worth it. My nails look so real that people have asked if they are my natural nails! None of that thick, gross looking acrylic that peels off your nail after a while. The only reason I'd give it 4 instead of the full 5 is that the lady who did (the owner I think) wasn't chatty with me but talked a lot to the other customers more than half the time, and always in Spanish. Horrible service the shellac peeled off the next day the shop is in poor condition I would not put my feet in those bowls disgusting, chairs are tattered bathroom is dirty and the polish selection is sparce.. tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.
