I've been going to this salon for 5 years- through the change in ownership and I thought I had found a wonderful place. I even brought my daughter to get her nails done. The quality is pretty good, except for the occasional nail that comes off or the one time I got mold underneath the acrylic. But they fixed the issues with no problems. The biggest issue I finally had was the service. I ALWAYS make an appointment. ALWAYS. And for them to pull the tech that's working on me for a walk in, THREE TIMES is just too much. They do good work, sure, but I don't enjoy having to sit and watch someone who came in after me, leave before me. I'm finding another salon for my daughter and I. We discovered them on accident when going to the nearby fancy place and they couldn't get us in right away. We came over to TL and they got us in right away. It is not a fancy place, but they do a much better job on my hard gel fills. They never get thick. They are perfectionists. I get lots of compliments on my nails and I just get solid color rounded nails. My husband gets pedicures due to nail issues. They do a great job. Their prices are also better than the other place. My MIL raved about the nail lady who worked here, followed her from another business. At this place they are under new ownership and trying to grow the business. I got really lucky today with a last-minute lash appointment with Sarah. I'm super sensitive to the glue so I asked her to go light on the lashes to make sure I wouldn't have a reaction. You can see in my before picture that I barely have noticeable lashes. Her lashes now really show up! She was really careful to apply them in a way so that the glue would not touch my skin and she used extra air from the fan several times to keep the fumes away from my eyes. Update, I went again for a fill and received a different nail technician.. Stephanie. She did a great job. I was charged 45$ for a kids paint with gel polish and a gel polish acrylic fill. I'm a little annoyed because all they did was literally paint my daughters nails.. no file or clipping of cuticles and she definitely needed it.. I won't be returning unless we both are going to see Stephanie. The owner is rushed most the time but super sweet.. and honestly, I don't think she's very versed in the nail beauty world. My fill was a complete 180 today than the full set I received from the shop owner. I have a 4 star because they don't have a price menu and they must have charged me a ridiculous amount for one of the services. read more

Today I visited Stylish Nails which is under new management and called TL Nails. I would not recommend them to anyone since there were a lot of hidden fees I wasn't aware about when I checked out. I was charged $4.00 for a nail file and buffing pad to bring back with me the next time I come in. I was not made aware of this when it was given to me. I had a $5.00 fee for my new tips when they were trimmed down. read more

Monday my husband and I went in to get pedis. It was our first time here. While there I decided to get my nails done. I decided to get them dipped. They turned out great. All of the staff there was very friendly. The place is very clean. Loved seeing them open new tools to use on us as well as the proper cleaning being used if it wasn't new. Made me feel good about wanting to return. Well today (Wednesday) I noticed that one of my nails has chipped. Most of the time I would of returned but since it had only been 48 hrs I decided I would go in and see if they'd fix it. Tam is who did my nails she was very happy to fix my nail and even looked at the others to make sure there wasn't anything else I might of missed. She put a new top coat on all my nails after completely fixing the chipped one. She told me if I ever have issues to come in and they'd take care of it. For me this was great customer service. I went to Lili's Nail & Tanning yesterday. I got a full set done. As soon as I walked in, I they started working on my nails. It took an hour and a half just for a full set.. The woman who did my nails did not push my cuticles back, used a paper towel to get the nail dust off my nails and used a worn out, already used, disposable nail buffer on me and did not use cuticle oil on my nails after she was finished doing my acrylics. My nails were throbbing all day and all next morning. I was cut with the nail drill and left the shop bleeding. The shape of my nails were uneven and I went home and had to file them myself. I was also left with glue and nail polish left all over my fingers. Every one at the salon was very nice, but the service I paid for was not. read more

I've been getting my nails done at Lilis for over 8 years. I've also been to nail salons in Seattle, and Lilis outshines everywhere else I've tried. Prices are terrific, service is great.
