I have been seeing Joy on and off for a couple of years now, and I am always thoroughly impressed by her skills! She does an impeccable job each & every time I've sat down with her. I have never left disappointed. The staff at Princess Nails is always welcoming and kind! My favorite nail salon by far.

Full set: you can see where she messed up. I asked her to fix it, but all she did was add more space. They overcharge and are understaffed. The staff never shows up on time. I've visited this place several times, and the quality is hit-or-miss. I'm done with this place!

I chose this nail salon off yelp because the prices were fairly cheap. I went in thinking it wasn't gonna be great quality, but it truly is amazing quality. I have paperlike skin, so I cut and bleed very easily. She was so gentle and did not cut me at all, which is very rare for me. They are super nice. They do get busy so it's better to book an appointment. 10 out of 10.

Honestly I had high expectations but it wasn't as I thought. The base was good but when it came to my design, the French tip was uneven and the design I requested wasn't good, green was overlapping the white flowers. They charged me $100 which I find ridiculous for my end result. read more

I came here randomly when my usual nail shop was closed and will be back 100%. Service was amazing and Joy did a perfect job on my nails. I'm very peculiar about the shape of my nails and I actually tried a new shape this time and she nailed it! I was more than satisfied. I get lots of compliments on my nails also. I chose this nail salon off yelp because the prices were fairly cheap. I went in thinking it wasn't gonna be great quality, but it truly is amazing quality. I have paperlike skin, so I cut and bleed very easily. She was so gentle and did not cut me at all, which is very rare for me. They are super nice. I have come here 3 times for pedi the first 2 times were fine the service was done by 2 girls which did great I liked the service the 3rd and last time I came a guy did my pedi he looked young around his 20s first he left me just sitting there for a while just with the water open after 15 min he came and started doing the pedi he didn't even ask which pedi I wanted which I always ask for the delux he did quick he looked very un professional at the middle of the pedi I told him (hey want the delux and he understood which one and just stand up and starting walking around the place looking for something which I assum was making time for what idk and came sat down again and kept doing the pedi I noticed he wasn't doing the delux I told him I wanted and finished and I asked him ( hey what pedi did u do if I asked for delux) and he just said oh sorry I did the other one I just said it was fine and left he asked for tip which I said no I was really disappointed.. y have been looking for a good place to get my pedi done and just when I thought I had found a good place this happenes. read more

They have the best service, and will freehand (almost) any design you bring to the table! As always, make sure you have reference images. I am usually bad at that, but they have been patient with me. They are artists! The technicians have made sure every detail of the nail was to my liking before I left, every time. The nails hold up!! Usually a full set lasts me 3 weeks before I loose a nail. I work construction and have done jobs with a set. I wouldn't encourage it, but the nails stayed on!! read more

jay did magic for my nails!! they were busy because it's a sunday, so there was a bit of a rush & a few imperfections but i still love them and the workers i talked to were so kind!! i paid $57 for this set (pay with cash for a 5% off discount). i do wish i got my cuticles cleaned up, not sure if theres an extra charge tho i think i'll just ask for it next time. otherwise he was a perfectionist with the shaping and kept checking that i was happy with how they looked! def coming back sometime :) read more

CUSTOMER SERVINCE IS HORRIBLE I came in today for a simple gel polish on my toes, along with my friend who requested a mani/pedi. I had been sitting in the pedicure chair for all of 15 minutes or more when TWO OTHER PEOPLE came in & requested a pedicure. IMMEDIATELY, they were sat & their service was being provided, while I was still sitting there. Outraged by being completely overlooked & blatantly ignored, I left without saying a word because I genuinely only wanted my toes polished & I couldn't even get that done respectfully, as simple as that is. Do not waste your time coming here ! If I could post this without any stars, I most definitely would. read more

I went here for my first time today and was more than impressed. Jay did an incredible job on my nails. I showed him a picture and he did a better job than the reference photo I used. I went in asking for a new set because I thought I needed it, but he recommended I just do a fill to save the quality of my nails even though it costs less. I found my old favorite nail stylists at a new location! Kim & Sue from Nail Arts In Fife are here now full time!!! Come check out the New ownership at Princess Nails. If you have been in the past. You have to come get a service done with the new owners and see for yourself how meticulous they do their jobs with such pride and care. It's hard to find what they accomplish with such care in the best services whether it's nails, pedicure or wax service. They do it with great detail. And Kim is. I gotta give this place 3.5 rating. it took 2hours for a mani pedi. I think that was wayyyy toooo long. The people we're friendly enough to understand. My problem here was $40 dollars for a fill and the young lady said... the prices are going up everywhere. I understand that but... $40.00 dollars for a fill is truly outrageous. read more

So incredibly disappointed. Got a full set the other day and this is the first time I've HATED my nails... the more I loom at them the more I hate them... she didn't sirens enough tome shaping them so they make my nail beds look fat and wide, the acrylic is ridiculously thick and stone of them aren't even the same length, shadow or width as the other hands counterpart. Have my nails done an it was a very poor job! The owner had her 16 year old daughter doing my nails and at that has not schooling or license to do them! The nails started braking off they were trying to over charge me. I called an explained to them I wanted them to remove the nails an give me my money back the owner said yes to come on in. I did she started to remove the nails an was angrily removing the nails an talking to another lady, she then decided an told me she was only going to remove the nails and not give me my 30$ back, I tried talking to her nicely, she was ignoring me then so I started to talk to the other lady that worked there and the owner then started yelling at the lady not to talk nor say another word to me! I explain to the owner I was not leaving until I had my money back, so she finally yelled at me and said fine! She gave me my money and I left. I would honestly not recommend this place! I guess that's what happens I don't wait to go to my regular nail place! read more

Betty scolded me and made remarks about my body and stretch marks while I was in my most vulnerable state. She had a Trainee wax me post putting me on the spot and while being waxed, some of the wax had accidentally gotten flicked onto Betty's scrubs. She then used the trainee's hand that had just been waxing me to remove the wax from her scrub to then put the same hand back onto my private area being completely unsanitary. As a licensed esthetician I knew it was unhygienic and as a woman I was in a vulnerable position and mortified. Her after care kit consisted of bath and body works 'warm vanilla sugar' hand sanitizer that she instructed me to use to sanitize my private area. This product should NEVER be used NEAR or ON your private area and especially not on open follicles that can lead to bacteria, infection, and irritation. She also said to use Curel lotion to soothe the area after using hand sanitizer. This kit was a joke and so was her business. I paid full price for an UNLICENSED trainee to wax me while being simultaneously humiliated by this businesses owner.

She did the exact color I was looking for on an acquaintance and they had passed her number along to me. After sending photos of my hair goals, hair inspiration and current hair we set an appointment for 15 February. The morning of the appointment at 0621 she texts to cancel due to illness. I was able to rebook it with her for 5 March, but again on the morning of the appointment she canceled due to lack of childcare. So, after waiting over a month for the appointment I was cancelled twice and did not make a priority to promptly rebook. She offered to talk with a coworker that was available before, which I stated was fine with me. This may have been naïve on my part, but I did assume she would only recommend someone of the same skill level. Cindy promptly reached out after Melissa and I spoke, and offered to book me that same week. I sent the exact photos from Melissa and I's texts to Cindy. My hair goals, hair inspiration and current hair. Which had grown out more while waiting on my appointment for Melissa but manageable. Before my appointment started, and as stated in my text I confirmed I wanted my hair copper/strawberry blonde. The ends of my hair in the photos were my goal, and really, I wanted it to be brought up to my roots. Covering my natural brunette hair. The conversation went well, and there seemed to be comprehension on my color. I could care less about cost, or application to achieve the color. We didn't go into too much detail on that. After she washed the color from my hair, I realized it was a cool blonde, no where close to a warm copper/strawberry blonde. The color also did not go entirely to my roots, and you can see my natural color in places. Cindy stated I was not blonde, "It's the lighting". After some back and forth, she said my hair color wasn't achievable because I had filters on my hair. I directly asked for the color on my ends to be brought up as we spoke in person. There isn't a filter in person, and the current hair photos in our texts had no filter. We stated I wasn't seeing the color correctly and it was what I asked for. I then had to show a photo of my partner and I from that morning, where my color is completely different from the blonde she did. In fact, the blonde matched my partners hair. Only then did she say she could put copper over it and that I wasn't clear on it. Honestly, I felt defeated at this point and agreed if that was our only option, but it still didn't cover my roots or natural color. She said that's normal with foils, they don't go to "The scalp". I was at a loss at this point. The copper she put over the blonde isn't the worst, but it wasn't what I wanted. The haircut was underwhelming. I asked for face framing and layers, even provided photos but it wasn't even close. My bangs and ends were just cut straight across. I didn't go into depth about disappointment with the cut. We had already spent five hours together and the color wasn't going to be savable. She ended up curling my hair, so it wasn't till the next wash that I saw the lack of layers. Thankfully I ended up going to my normal Stylist to fix the cut, but sadly he doesn't do color and was at a loss as well. I found it incredibly unprofessional that I was still charged for the service. I do understand the time and materials, but I'm unhappy with the results. The results are too far off from what I asked for. I wouldn't recommend the salon for any service after this experience.

I came in for a simple nail fill and left feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. The technician handled my hands roughly throughout the appointment and the entire process felt rushed. I was burned multiple times by the nail drill, which made the experience painful and stressful. I've been coming to princess nails for a year and I have never been disappointed. I come to get my fills and occasionally get pedicures done when I need some " me time". And they are not only super nice and relaxing but affordable and great conversation. The nail techs there always help me pick out what designs or colors go together when I can't decide. read more

I called and let the person who answered know. She asked when I wanted to come in to fix them? She didn't sound surprised, she wasn't apologetic, nothing. I wasn't extra hard on my nails I did normal every day stuff I do. Because Gel X is a softer tip I can understand if a tip was too narrow for my nail bed and it cracked from that but 5 nails?! I told her I would be there first thing in the morning when they opened. I got to the salon when it opened. The man was very nice and did a great job replacing the 5 nails. About 30 minutes later the lady who originally did my nails came in. After the man was done she asked him a question about my nails. Even though it wasn't in English I knew because he shook his hair and pointed to the top of his nail. He repeated himself a couple times and kept pointing to his finger so I can only assume he was reiterating that my nails were cracked. The station I was told to sit at when I had to go back was dirty from the day before. Clipped tips were all over the floor, the towel from the day before was on the station with clippings and acrylic drops. The tools from both visits were not clean and rusty. The nail brushes to wash your nails were all first and has that reddish algae that builds up at the base. I gave 2 stars because the man to redid my nails was very nice! I will definitely not be going back to that salon.

The gal i wanted was on vacation so they had a new gal( super young, she looked 12 but im sure she was at least 18). Someone else put my tips on( i was in for a full set and pedi), and the young girl then took over in filing and shaping my nails. Let me tell you i was ready to grab that drill from her hand and do it myself after watching her and feeling her bur the skin off right at my cuticle!! ( im familar with slo speed drills and acrylic burs im a dental assiatant and use that drill for making temporary crowns all the time). She apologized and continued on..when she started shaping with the file i kept telling her i want square swuare not round square(( or squaval as they refer to it nowadays). Anyways she finished and let me tell you the shape looked ridiculous! I mean wtf! I paid , walked out to my car and turned around and walked back in and asked go speak with the owner Jen( same owner then in the early 2000's as now..shes probably lost her passion for the industry by now lol). Anywho, she looks at my nails and says whats wrong with them? I looked at her and said " really?? Can you not see how ridiculous these are and how stupid the shape is? So she grabs a file while im standing at the front desk and starts filing on them( AGAIN ..REALLY??!!). They looked no better than when i left the first time. They know im a regular and for some reason thought i wouldnt care the outcome of my nails by throwing me to the greenhorn in the back!..i was very dissapointed..i always tipped that place well to...always 20 dollar tip ( back in early 2000s that was BIG TIP!)..So it was obvious to me the owner didnt give a shit who i was...i thought well it was only one time ill give them another chance..N O P E!! I had a gentleman as my nail tech, I showed him long oval nails, he glued on my pinky nail crooked so he had to remove the glued nail off and try again. I started to get nervous. My nails took half the time as others in, I'm assuming they are regulars for the new salon. He got acrylic all over my skin around my nails and just left it. I paid $75 plus tip for a full set with chrome finish. When i got home to look at my nails, there is a gap between the fake nail and my nails. Literally every nail was not glued on properly. I was going to go back to see if they would rectify my badly done nails, but I dont think I would go back anyways. Im so sad! Unique Nails was my favorite, i believe Dan was my regular. And now its different, and after the rushed set with acrylic all over my skin, I am saddened. I will not be returning, and I recommend anyone that goes to double check they glued the nail on properly. Make sure they do quality work so you dont end up like me. Im sure I will have to get my nails redone very soon. It took me so long to find a regular spot, now Im back to square one I am not sure if the nail tech was new or not, but I feel like I totally got ripped off.
