I have never been to this salon, but wanted to tell you all an issue. The salon shares a building with Farrelli's, including a bathroom. While visiting the pizza place, I used the men's restroom the same time as a male employee from the salon. He did not wash his hands after doing his business and exiting the men's room. I have been coming here for over 2 years and will continue to. The quality of service I've received is not easy to find. They treat me and anyone I bring kindly and with respect. I even talked my husband into monthly pedicure dates with me! They remember us every time including our (grown) son with autism and are beyond nice and understanding. To top it off I love the way they do my nails. I'm always getting compliments on them. I go to Bao and sometimes Holly. But all the girls there are just as nice. I have been coming here for a few months now, and I really like the gel X nails that they offer. There isn't anyone else that I can find that does it. It's better for your nail bed and the designs I ask them to do. They are able to execute! It is not the most updated, cleanest location. However, I keep coming back because of their service. Honestly, I've been coming here around a year, maybe year and an half. The quality has gone down, extremely fast. And their prices just keep going up and up. Today, I had to come BACK in, because when I went in yesterday, to get a BASIC pedicure, and a fill. It was $150. I had to go 2 days back to back because after they did my toes yesterday, they told me the only girl that could do my design (FRENCH TIP WITH STARS) had to go pick up her kids in about 20 mins. So I was upset because she was either gonna rush OR ask me to come back tomorrow. I made an appointment they knew when I was coming and how long it was gonna take. They had construction going on INSIDE the building so no chance for you to relax. The man, Chris, does not belong there. Very rough, and very confrontational. I ask him to fix my crooked nail and he said I wasn't crooked, just honestly rude. Holly really only cares about her money and doesn't really care if you like it or not, and will still charge you full price even though you had to come back the next day. Honestly probably won't be back, sucks because I hate switch nail salon. But $150 for a fill and pedicure is diabolical. They could have at least given a discount. read more

I have never paid so much for a pedicure in Tacoma! I have a regular place that I usually go to, but I was in the area and thought I'd try a new place. I put my feet in the water and then they handed me the spa menu. I was so shocked with the prices, I almost walked out. My pedicure was $65 (plus tip) for the same service I receive at my regular place (and this was one of their cheaper ones they offered). At my regular place my pedicure is $30 dollars cheaper. They say they are organic but the fragrance/perfume in the lotions, etc. was so over powering that it made me sick, gave me headache and made my eyes burn. The smell is like old, cheap grandma flowery perfume, and now I think I'm going to have to wash my legs now or this sick feeling will not go away. Ughhh... I usually get a design or flower on my big toe, but when I asked the price she said it was $10 extra per toe! Wait, what? I usually pay $5 total for that. Overall the technician (Tina) did a good job and was nice, but I am not at a high end salon and these prices are crazy ridiculous. I wasn't even offered water or anything. While I can afford a $65 pedicure, I think it is way overpriced and I will not be back. read more

walked in at 10:30, they had no clients getting manicures 3 ladies getting pedicures so not very busy at all. I asked to get a manicure, basic. No acrylic or paint. I waited 5 or 6 minutes when they have plenty of staff. After then getting my nail technician I was asked again what I wanted. Simply replied manicure no gel or paint and the woman began clipping my nails. I'm satisfied with my nails. I'm not very pleased with the service. I've been here many times and today just was not a good experience. I could see the woman Who was doing my manicure start rushing through it just to get me out of the chair. Thought we'd try a new place for manis and pedis so went to Asia nails. Very cute shop, nice people. My husband got a $30 manicure that literally lasted 8 minutes (posting photo). He is not super picky but was disappointed that his nails didn't look "done" like usual with a manicure. lThey upcharged me for everything they could think of, it ended up being nearly $100 more than the exact same services and products anywhere else in town we've gone, I really felt taken advantage of. I selected a $45 pedicure that they charged me $70 for, without ever mentioning all the additional charges they added to duplicate my chrome gel polish I came in with and wanted to get again. Also my gel fill took two hours, literally an hour longer than I've ever had it take. Just posting so maybe whoever reads this will ask a lot more questions than I did before spending that much time and money on a service that was comparable to many other quicker, less expensive salons. read more

I have lived near this nail shop for over a decade and because this place is so close I have gotten my nails done here numerous times. I came in on my birthday to get my nails done and it appeared That there is new management. I feel like this place is always under new management. I was happy with my nails they were not perfect but I was happy. About 1 weeks after I started noticing the nail polish peeling but didn't call as it was minimal. A couple days after this the peeling became significant and I called. I told them I wanted them fixed but I didn't feel like I needed to pay for them to be fixed as it appears to be an issue with the polish as my toes were Completely perfect. They told me to come in. I come in today and they told me that it was normal And they were happy to fix but I would be charged for a normal manicure. I explained to them that I was not happy with the outcome of the service prior so I would not be paying for another service. I let them know that I would rather pay another salon money in hopes for a better job. I believe that the nail polish they used must have been old as I have never experienced this issue ever. I will Not be coming back even though this location is so close to my home. I would caution others to Come here as well. This is my first bad experience with this location but I do not appreciate how this issue was handled. read more

I never had such a bad experience. I went in there to get a manicure with gel nails. I was in there over an hour and a half. The person they gave me must've never done nails before not only were my French manicure nails crooked they had bubbles in it and I got nail polish on my skin too. I went to scratch my face on the way home and I cut myself because my nails are also too sharp underneath. They were not sanded properly. When applying lotion to my Hands after my nails were done it was for squirt for two hands. I will never go back. So not worth $50 read more

Worst nail service I have ever had. I left with nail polish all over my hands and my nails were super sharp. It honestly looks like I did my own nails at home. To top it off when I was getting ready to pay the gal was explaining the rewards program and how if you sign up you get $X amount of dollars off. She was half way through her sentence when a guy came over and interrupted her and said no that it was full price. I have worked in the service industry and always tip even when I don't receive the best of services and this was the first time in my life I had to walk away without tipping. Asia Nails you have really let me down, I came here for the first time last night and got my gel manicure done for $35 with tip. I got my nails done by a young person and she clipped the side of my thumb closely and it stung the whole process of wiping my nails off with alcohol, UV light and the polishing. None of the nails were correctly shaped and I had to ask her to reshape and clip them afterwards. Not only that but also the polish does not cover my fingers and there's a space left on the side of my nails. After my appointment there was nail polish remnants all over my fingers (which is not horrible but not good if I had to go somewhere afterwards). That's not the worst part of it, come today.. my thumb had peeled off after 15 hours and I had to go ask them to fix it today. My sister who got the dipping powder done ($45 and with tip) had said she's wiping them off because they were unequal in amount. Apparently she was given a brand new person who didn't know how to do nails per worker. We will not be coming back to this salon for the price either. If they do half of a great job then they should charge for half the price. read more
