If you are looking for someone highly skilled that will LISTEN to you and what you want done, look no further. I am not exaggerating when I say that Bri has given me the BEST haircuts I have ever had in my life. I look amazing when I walk out of the salon and, I don't know how she does it but, it continues to look great even as it grows out. She will even talk through how to style the new look (if you ask). I highly recommend going to Bri to get your hair done. She is amazing and a wonderful person to chat with while she works her MAGIC.

I am now a beautiful "old money blonde" with the best cut I have ever had! I feel blessed to have had Ashlina devote so much time and talent in the corrective color she preformed! What an artist! I wanted a trim to get rid of the split ends and get some hair care advice as I know that Beach House salon carries a wide variety of hair care products that are cruelty free which is very important to me. I love how you can go to their website and get to know all the stylists. I made an appointment with Kimberly because I got to see Instagram pics of some of the work that she's done and I felt that she would be a good fit for my particular hair care needs. I was so glad I picked Kimberly! She immediately made me feel at ease as I explained that I only wanted the bare minimum cut to remove my split ends. I spent a long time growing my hair and I wanted to keep it as long as possible. She started off by giving me a thorough scalp massage. It felt so good and really relaxed me. During the styling we were chatting constantly. Kimberly is very friendly and we hit it off like a couple of gal pals. I was very happy with the end result. Kimberly recommended a hair mask that can also work as a conditioner to help me with keeping my hair moisturized I will definitely be coming back to Kimberly on a regular basis to keep my locks in great shape. Thank U Kimberly! Much love

Not only did they remember my mother, they remembered who cuts her hair. My mom was too sick to get up the stairs to the salon, so the woman came to the house, chatted with my mom, gave her an amazing cut, and then refused to take money. My mom was so happy, and almost felt like herself again. My mother passed soon after. I will always be grateful to this salon. Thank you for taking care of my mom for so many years, and especially at the end. You are much appreciated.

I can't say enough how amazing this salon has been with helping me and fixing my hair. Kylie…read moreabsolutely saved my hair after it was recked by another salon/stylist. Aura Salon/Kylie worked it out that I come in on a day they are typically closed (Sundays) so that my hair could be fixed: something that was never even a thought at the salon that ruined it in the first place. I genuinely feel beautiful and I am so in love with my hair now, I drove 2 hours south for this and would do it over and over and over again. I know there is only so much that can be done once a bleach/color job goes wrong but what Kylie was able to do with my hair is unbelievable. She was extremely informative the entire time, had tons of ideas for what could be done depending on what I wanted, was straight forward about what could be fixed and what was going to be a cover up. She knows what she is talking about and it shows every single step of the way, down to explaining how products work and what they are doing to my hair. I never ever would've thought that my hair could look this good and feel this nice, especially after how badly it was screwed the first time. The salon is cute and cozy and welcoming, the gift shop is freaking adorable (I have a soft spot in my heart for crystals). My partner was able to relax with me while Kylie went to town on fixing my hair which was really kind as I've been to many places that don't allow any other guests. Not a single part of my experience was anything other than absolutely amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I can't find the stylists name that cut my daughter's hair, but if I do ill update the post.. but…read moreshes the only reason this place is getting any stars. I have been to Aura a handful of times over the years (the very first time was YEARS ago when it was swanky- but my hair stylist left so I stopped going for hair but I continued to go when they changed the name, for facials a couple of times) not the point.. but it seemed like this place has changed a lot since last time I was there and it now looks like a hodge podge of different things and it didnt feel cohesive. Which, obviously works for them- but it didnt feel like an actual salon/spa. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk so one of the stylist that was cutting hair had to stop to ask us what we were there for and then said the stylist would be up soon. She came up, we went back, we talked... all is good. (Again, this has nothing to do with the actual stylist!) But the stylist took my daughter to wash her hair and a couple walked in with a baby and a toddler. Seemed to be a stylist that just had a baby. Not sure, but they went back around a corner where we couldn't see them but could hear them. The toddler would come out and run around the salon. Again, I couldn't see back there so idk if there was a door or what- but I assumed after the first time it wouldnt happen again, since this is a salon open to the public and not just for family. Nope. The toddler kept coming out running around and two different times would go to a chair that a client was sitting in and either touch their leg or arm or whatever (as a curious toddler would do) but the dad slowly dragging his feet behind the child and would stand back and say "hey buddy, let's not do that" instead of scooping him up and taking him back to where the stylist and baby were hanging out. It was crazy that it happened once, let alone more then once! Then a couple other people were checking in for their appointments and there weren't seats available, they had to sit in the chairs at the nail area or the dryer. It was just a weird experience between the way the salon was set up, the fact a child was allowed to run around, touching guests, and lack of a waiting room (which if I remember correctly, was taken out to put a little gift shop in?) Like I said the stylist was great.. but the salon overall, I would not recommend.
