Top is today, middle was a few minutes after the tint and shape, and bottom are my natural brows.

Sheena was great! She was fast and precise, and I really like how my brows looked after the dye came off. For a tint and shape, it was around $30+, and the appointment set up was easy.

Sheena is very skilled. Very meticulous and professional. She wants you to love the end result and does everything in her power to make that happen!

Can someone elaborate on the eyebrow service for me please? How long does it last and is it anything like microblading? What is the price range for this service? I'm pretty interested in getting this done just by looking at the photos! Thanks!

Betty scolded me and made remarks about my body and stretch marks while I was in my most vulnerable state. She had a Trainee wax me post putting me on the spot and while being waxed, some of the wax had accidentally gotten flicked onto Betty's scrubs. She then used the trainee's hand that had just been waxing me to remove the wax from her scrub to then put the same hand back onto my private area being completely unsanitary. As a licensed esthetician I knew it was unhygienic and as a woman I was in a vulnerable position and mortified. Her after care kit consisted of bath and body works 'warm vanilla sugar' hand sanitizer that she instructed me to use to sanitize my private area. This product should NEVER be used NEAR or ON your private area and especially not on open follicles that can lead to bacteria, infection, and irritation. She also said to use Curel lotion to soothe the area after using hand sanitizer. This kit was a joke and so was her business. I paid full price for an UNLICENSED trainee to wax me while being simultaneously humiliated by this businesses owner.

(Realized I forgot my review in my drafts! So I'm posting it now!)…read more I usually give a salon multiple chances before writing a negative review--unless something seriously goes wrong. Unfortunately, in this case, it did. I've been here a few times for lashes and once previously for hair, and my first hair appointment was great. The stylist was gentle, communicative, and professional. I loved my hair, was shown products afterward, and happily purchased them. I left feeling taken care of. This second hair appointment was a completely different experience. I was greeted by a young stylist who seemed pleasant and understood what I wanted. However, once she began, I immediately noticed she had extremely long, sharp acrylic nails (about 1.5-2 inches). While I have nothing against acrylics--I wear them myself--there needs to be a limit in a professional setting, especially when working so closely with a client's scalp and hair. She colored my hair without gloves, which already made me uncomfortable. Throughout brushing, coloring, and washing, my hair repeatedly got caught in her lifting acrylics. My hair was yanked out multiple times, and at points it was genuinely painful. Holding a brush seemed difficult for her, and the brushing was rough and uncomfortable. The shampoo experience was by far the worst I've ever had. Normally, that's my favorite part of a salon visit. Instead, due to her nails, she couldn't properly massage or clean my scalp. The shampoo barely reached my roots, yet my hair was pulled the most at the bowl. My scalp was sore for two days afterward, to the point where brushing hurt. I'm a mom of three and a full-time college student, so self-care time is rare. I was really looking forward to relaxing--maybe even reading--but it was hard to focus through the discomfort. On top of that, the stylist seemed mentally checked out, asking me the same questions twice and lacking awareness of the situation. When the service ended, she simply removed my robe and said thanks for coming. No walk-out, no product recommendations. I had planned on purchasing shampoo, conditioner, and heat protectant again, but I left without anything. I still paid for the service and left a tip. After taking a few days to cool off, I felt this needed to be said. This experience was unsanitary, painful, and disappointing. My hair turned out "meh"--the haircut felt rushed, I didn't get the layers I asked for, and highlights alone don't make up for the experience. I truly loved coming here, but after this, it won't be my salon anymore. If you come here for hair services, I strongly recommend choosing a stylist whose nails allow them to work safely, hygienically, and comfortably--preferably ones that can fit inside gloves.

Absolutely Disappointed and Deeply Concerned - Proceed With Caution If You're Considering Waxing…read moreServices Here I recently visited this salon for an underarm wax, expecting a simple and smooth experience. Unfortunately, what I walked into was anything but that. Upon arrival, I noticed the owner actively supervising a trainee during an eyebrow threading session--but oddly, the trainee wasn't allowed to participate at all. So, imagine my confusion when the same owner suddenly felt comfortable enough to let that very trainee do my underarm wax. Now, I'm not someone who's quick to shut down a learning opportunity, so I reluctantly agreed. That, I now realize, was my first mistake--the second was walking through those doors in the first place. Let's talk about the room I was taken into. The moment I stepped in, something felt off. It just didn't feel clean. The parchment paper on the waxing bed had visible greasy stains, and instead of replacing it for the next client (me), they simply carried on. That immediately raised red flags. It started to seem like they were just trying to cash in on waxing services--possibly self-taught through YouTube--without truly being qualified. The trainee, wearing gloves (thankfully), applied powder to my underarms and attempted to grab a stick to dip into the wax. This is when it got worse. I could tell immediately that the wax was too hot--it was too runny and wet. I politely asked her to wait and let it cool, but she didn't take it seriously. The wax began to turn tacky, and then--it burned me. I tried to remain calm and called in the owner to take over. Sadly, she wasn't much more competent. She at least let the wax cool a little before applying, but still had to use 5-7 strips just to finish one underarm. It was unprofessional and extremely uncomfortable. Even though the owner didn't burn me the way the trainee did, my skin had already become so sensitive and irritated from the initial burn that I felt a constant stinging and warm sensation throughout the rest of the process. It was extremely unpleasant and made it hard to stay calm. I want to be clear: I'm a patient person--I didn't storm out, I didn't yell--I gave them a chance. But this wasn't about being patient. This was about the salon offering services they are clearly not trained or equipped to provide. If the trainee had applied the wax when she first tried to, I could've suffered severe burns. Luckily, I walked away with severe skin irritation instead. That's how close I came to a medical situation--at a beauty appointment. I ended the service right there. I refused to let them touch my other armpit, got dressed, and left the salon holding back tears. What's truly frustrating is that I read through their reviews thoroughly before booking and saw no red flags regarding waxing. I trusted those reviews. But I cannot let someone else walk in unaware. I believe in giving grace, but I also believe in protecting people from unsafe practices. To be fair, they may have strong skills in other areas--perhaps that's where the good reviews come from. But if you value your health and safety, do not get waxing services here until they've proven their staff is properly trained and their practices are fully sanitary. You deserve better than this.

"microblading, ombre and microshading" My observations: Seriously Good hygiene practice Consistently changing gloves Washing and sanitizing of hands frequently Gentle patient kind knowledgeable thorough Studio was beautifully decorated clean smelled good bright Julie is the owner of Cascadia Ink Holly was the student who invited and worked on me Lina was another student who also worked on me I learned so much about my own skin type, my undertones, the shape of my face and how the shape of my eyebrows can change the look of my face The "hair" strokes are incredibly realistic Julie was also very knowledgeable about the color palate for my eyebrows being careful because of my undertones and my fair skin not to go too dark but still accommodating my preference for darker brows Overall the procedure was mostly painless.. a bit uncomfortable at times but not unbearable. They do apply a numbing cream as well. They gave me a cleansing foam, a cream and clear instructions on how to care for my new brows... It was a Very long process, as I was informed ahead of time it would be (up to 4 hours) this was a teaching session so it was expected. Had a poor experience when trying to get my navel re-pierced after it had closed in recent months…read more(had an established piercing for years, done elsewhere). Had booked an appointment several weeks prior. At the time of re-piercing, it did not align with where the marked "dots" had been drawn prior to the needle stick. If it wasn't going to be pierced in the same exact spot as discussed prior to the piercing, then I'd rather just be told so and not get it. Also the length of the ring used for the attempted piercing was short (like a regular replacement ring you'd use after it's all healed); it wasn't long enough for a new piercing. It seemed she was trying to make the new piercing length on my navel fit the available ring she had (also the ring had a jagged-edged jewel on it, not a nice round, plain ball top. It would have gotten caught on everything and been a nightmare during healing). I didn't want an entirely different scar. That's exactly what I was trying to avoid, and had communicated this prior to piercing. The new piercing was so unsightly, it was upsetting to me. Bottom line, I asked for it to be removed and I left. Then I had to let my navel heal up for awhile. It's like going through healing but no piercing to show for it. I'll be extremely cautious about letting anyone touch my navel again.
