They have a HUGE selection of colors, including very dark/rich colors; they did my mani before my pedi (which is the logical way to do it, but most places do it backwards); Cathy was very friendly, with lots of eye contact and interaction; and the dog is adorable. Very disappointed. I've never been so close to tears after getting a fill! I've been searching for a new salon & just can't seem to find a decent place. I was hopeful when I arrived due to all the positive reviews, although the sign placed on the door stated that the owner Cathy is on vacation. That should've been my first red flag to leave. The woman filling in was nice but had horrible nail service. She filed my skin more then my nails which resulted in severe bleeding and discomfort. The paint job looked like a child did them and the coffin shape looked horrendous. I asked her multiple times to fix the mistakes and she would, but it was never ending and got exhausting. You should not have to tell someone how to do your nails, step by step. After she was done, she rushed off & the owner's husband was still here so I let him know that I was very unhappy with everything. He called her and she came back to fix them. The only complaint I have would be behind her she has a mini trash can labeled "trash" and she took out a buffer and nail filer :/ worries me because it was in the trash and she didn't open up a new set to use on me.... When I first heard of this nail salon I was under the impression that the employees there did wonderful jobs. That it was a pleasant place to go and everyone was very nice. That was not the case. My friend talked me into going and said that getting acrylics nails would only cost about $25. It's the same price as every other nail salon so how bad could it be? Walking into the salon an employee was sleeping on the couch meant for customers. The owner would let her kids run around the store as well as their pets. One of her daughters ran into another customer's vehicle and then proceeded to stick gum under the fender. When told about it, the owner just laughed it off like it was a joke. Moving on to the nails. I had asked for specific flowers on my nails and was told that what I wanted was to much. She refused to put the design that I wanted. That I was paying her for. At the end the cost came out to be $33. Well over the amount I was expecting. I know designs cost a little extra, but to go from $25 to $33 is a big amount. The nails came out crooked and improperly done. This place is unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend going here. Your time and money will have been wasted on rude interactions, loud children, and headstrong opinionated workers who don't care for your needs. read more

sloppy & lazy job, i went to this place for the high rated reviews but it was not good at all. I got a full set and she didn't push my cuticles back , used an extremely dirty nail file, when she cut them there were extremely uneven, acrylic was on way too thick, and the shape was awful nothing how I asked them for, i had to go home and file them myself just so they look decent until I can remove them. I got them done tuesday and they already look like i have had them on for a week or so. will not be returning & i don't recommend anyone to get their nails done here. read more

First timer here at this nail salon, and I enjoyed it. It may look small and run down on the outside because where it's located but the facility is well kept. I saw two people wiping the windows (inside and out). Another lady was wiping down counters and appliances in the salon. This salon is very clean that's for sure. Let's talk about service. They provide quality service. I was greeted and the nail tech immediately attended to me right away started with my manicure followed by my pedicure. While I was getting cuticle care, the other lady served me a hot herbal tea along with an egg tart. I dont know if they do that all the time or just on weekends, but I enjoyed it. I had great conversation with the young lady who was doing the pedicure. Overall, I had a great experience. This will definitely be my new nail salon. Come to this spot. NO NO NO. $65 for the dullest shellac nails, crooked tips, and polish on my skin. I didn't leave tip. I felt rushed. I had to balance the black light on my leg over a book to dry my nails. Also there is a thick, Vaseline like residue on my fingers that feels so gross. I should have realized how old these other reviews are. This is the second time I visited this salon, and although their work is fair and reasonably priced I witnessed two things that are TOTALLY unacceptable. I had a pedicure, which was a fair job that a young lady did, then I decided to get a fill. While I was transitioning from spa pedicure seat to table for fill a customer comes in and says they'll be two more joining him for pedicures. They put one of those adults where I was without cleaning the tub. UM, I'm certain that is a health department violation. Oh don't worry my story doesn't end there. So now the owner is doing my fill. While there it must be the owners daughter that was lounging around in a corner of the salon while their two small dogs roam around the salon freely. While I was waiting for my nails to dry the younger lady let the dogs out to roam around and go potty. Shortly thereafter the young girl goes out to play with the dogs, which I was watching and thought was so cute. Well the cute factor stopped there as I saw with my own eyes the young girl running back and forth, then all the sudden while running ran to my truck and stuck her gum on the front, side fender of my white truck!! UM excuse me, NOT ACCEPTABLE!! The young lady came out and I told her what happened and she just laughed it off. I was so mad I just got in my truck and drove away. I'd also like to add that while I was having my pedicure I saw the owner go into the bathroom, which I later used. Once in the bathroom I went to wash my hands and there were was nothing to dry my hands on, nor was there any soiled hand towels in the bathroom, which makes me question what did the owner use when she went in the bathroom or did she? read more

Very poor job. Full set of acrylics were crooked, too thin and started lifting near cuticles after only a couple of days. It is hard to see the nail job flaws with no store lighting. The lady didn't push back my cuticles before doing my nails nor did she clean underneath afterward, which is needed to prevent real nails from separating from the acrylics. Missing this step causes bacteria and fungus from the separation. I drove by this corner salon and saw that it wasn't busy. There was one woman working on the sole customer's nails and told me it would be about a 20-minute wait. That was no big deal compared to the busy salons. The woman there was very sweet and gentle but lacks professional nail skills. At least I tried it and know to never return. read more

I just went here and got a pedicure and it was the best! I have ingrown nails and the tech totally got in there and fixed them perfect. The paint job was skilled. I should have known better then to go to a nail salon with bad grammar in their name. It just went down hill from there. First, the opening time posted on the door says 9:30. No one arrived to open the shop until 10:10. In we go....they served tea and cookies....my friend gave the tea 5 stars. That is the end of any other praise for this place. I have very long, stiletto nails. Three were broken and I needed a fill. I paint my own nails so there was no painting involved with me. My friend was getting a full set with a gel manicure. None of the nails I had replaced looked ANYTHING like the rest of my nails. Pinkie WAY longer, thumb SUPER crooked.....and how does this happen? There are nails right there in front of them to compare length and shape to. They put them next to each other and then what they give you looks like it belongs on someone else...but I digress. She was going so fast she nicked me pretty good, TWICE. So, she was done with me....I asked for a nail file and started carving what she gave me into fingernails. My friend held up her hand to me with a frown...one of her nails was OBVIOUSLY shorter then all the rest. She gets her polish....we head to the counter. I pay first.....WHAT??? $35.00 is on the screen. "For ME??" "Yes." For a fill and NO polish????? Another $.50 for using my debit card. Then a screen pops up to chose a tip amount....already pre-filled amounts. No way to leave them less then 15%. So, a fill with no polish, crooked nails and bleeding cuticles set me back over $40.00. Highway robbery. My friend pays next, her total is $35.00 as well. For a full set and gel polish. More reasonable than mine....but she also has one stubby nail that sticks out like a sore thumb (would not have been as bad if it HAD been on her thumb...) I am outraged at the shoddy product and sky high prices from Tops Nails. I would rather grow my own nails than grace their doorstep again. JUST DREADFUL. read more
