I ordered gel nails and a design on them. They were amazing with their service and were all very friendly. Something I loved about this place was that not only the atmosphere felt comfortable and homey, but how kind the staff were. In addition, the way they treated me was excellent. The way my nails ended up were amazing and I would recommend them! Very accommodating and sweet people. read more

This is my go-to spot! I love the staff, I love the way they prioritize their clients and the space is so clean and welcoming! I had an amazing experience at this nail salon! The staff were incredibly sweet and made me feel right at home. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of work--my nails turned out beautifully. The cleanliness of the salon was impressive, and it really added to the overall vibe. But the highlight for me was the massage! I got a delightful hand and full back massage that was simply fantastic. The massage chairs were so comfortable, and it felt like pure bliss. I wholeheartedly recommend this place--definitely a 10 out of 10! as a single mom of 3 kids In dire need of a self care day this is the place if youre looking for a pampering session that exceeds expectations, look no further! read more

Came across this shop while looking through salons in the area. I am so glad I chose here, it is absolutely beautiful inside!! & Listen, the pedicure I received was top tier for a very affordable price. Their price packages for pedicure & manicure are the lowest I've seen anywhere now a days. Amazing quality for it too!! My nail tech took her time to actually get out ingrowns, do cuticle care, good massage & did a great job of my French tip. Most shops rush through but not here! I love it read more

So, I will start out by saying that I have had a regular nail girl for the past year. However she moved almost 45 minutes away. So to save some time I decided to try Mina Nails. Worst decision ever! I went in for a dip manicure. Any good salon will not drill all your color off because it's not good for your nails. Usually they rough up the surface and then apply acetone. It takes time. The nail girl drilled my nails so badly that my fingers started to burn. I asked her about soaking them off, she stated that they only did that for acrylic nails. Even though I was bothered I continued with the manicure. I picked out a ballet pink color. Which I might add I get on a regular basis and it's beautiful. I let her know that my normal girl does 3 coats because my nails are thin and they break. She stated twice that she would do 2 coats. I finally insisted that she do 3. Which she listened to. Then I noticed two things that were the deal breakers!!! The first was she did not apply the clear dip powder before the dip color. Every other place I've been to does this! When I asked why she wasn't doing it she stated that my nails would be too thick. I told her..."you complimented my nails when you first started so clearly you could see that they were not thick!" I shook my head but let her continue. THEN I noticed she was not applying any powder to the edges of may nails, they had no color. When I asked she said she doesn't put powder on the edges again because "they would be too thick" and that she only coats the top of the nails only. Then I became angry!!! I asked why would you not put color on the whole nail?!?! I said nowhere i have ever been leaves your tips with nothing on! She said I was being cheeky...got up and walked away. Not only was the nail process horrendous, but she had no plan to listen to what I wanted....the paying customer! I drove an hour to my regular nail girl...1 clear powder coat and 3 color coats later I have beautiful NATURAL looking nails. Not quite sure why this lady could not wrap her head around that. I will include pictures. Avoid this place! read more

So wish they were in my town, I was just vacationing and lucked out finding such a nice (super clean, looked like recently remodeled possibly). My guy and the owner lady were super nice. I had the worst experience ever in this place with Mina (the owner). Most off the time she was nice why she was nice before, because i allway said yes to any recommendations she gives. Today a said that i want my nail short a she said not you do your nail longer look better! And i said no. Then a ask her to cut a little more and she said GO to another places a get your nail the way u want cuz you are too picky... I really dont get how i a m picky. Once i went to this place to get my pedicure and because i ask for her sister to do it for me and not the guy that was doing it, she said I am picky. Those people need to start listening to them client Instagram to client be listening to them. I look how she left me a side of everything she yell at me on front of everyone. Mina Nails - 2 acrylic powder no nail polish or gel nails.. - Nail Salons Near Me - Lakewood, Washington

Unsanitary, they don't clean the tools in between clients. Unprofessional, they all spaz when you tell them they have messed up. As if they are automatically offended bc they have to take time to do your nails right. (The only one worth seeing is the male w good posture & nice teeth. The husband sucks ass, very sloppy & uncoordinated. & Mina speeds through & cuts corners.) Overpriced, everything listed makes this place very low class. I can't agree with paying to leave bc you're not paying for the service. By the time you check out, they try to schmooze for a tip. That right there, laughable. Don't say you had a bad experience, I already gave you a clear warning, babes. *I think the good nail tech is her brother & the is the star of the show. He does the best designs & he is sooooo clean w the white nail polish, it's so smooth! He deserves a better establishment, but I respect the fact that he supports his sibling* THIS PLACE IS TRASH!! & someone obviously bled through one of the chairs , replace it already - it's been past a year. That stain is repulsive, MINA! read more

***** update***** little over two weeks after getting my pedicure, my paint job is chipping already on two of my toes..... oh wow....most places my polish lasts at LEAST a month. ************** The service was alright. The salon was nice and had lots of hands to do work for any walk ins. But I will not be going back to Mina nails!!!! Their customer service sucks pertaining to my money. They charged me too much for my services and I thought I caught the transaction before it went through. I thought the wrong transaction was voided. (It wasn't) so they ended up charging me twice. I was charged 40 on accident and the 32 for my actual services. That's 72 bucks. It's Christmas time, I needed my 40 dollars back. So I went in today to get my money back and they were "too busy" to give me my money back. So they asked me to come back tomorrow. I told them I'm super busy tomorrow. So they asked me to come back on Monday. I'm sorry, you don't mess with people's money and time. And they already have messed with both of those with me. If it were my establishment, I would be taking 40 bucks out of my own pocket to fix any problem I caused. Instead they focus on their own time and money. Nope, not going back for their services. I can't afford the time or money obviously. They don't care about that read more

I haven't had my nails done in 3 yrs, so it was a little hard for me to pick a place after being so long. Initially tried going to HiTek nails, even though it says walk in welcome, they were fully booked apparently. But even though Mina nails says appt only on yelp, they welcomed me in without any appt. I waited about 30 min but I didn't mind it, it was busy as is. The place was very nice and clean with friendly workers. And they also offer Alc. I wasn't able to get any this time but I'll be sure to next time. The man working on my nails was named "Johnny" I think. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but he did an awesome job and all of them knew how I wanted my nails shaped. I asked for coffin shaped nails, but not too narrow on top and not too thick on the bottom. If that made any sense but they knew exactly what i wanted. I had a relaxing experience considering it being 3 yrs since I last had my nails done. Highly recommend, I'll come back here again!(: read more

For those over 21 years of age you can also enjoy a glass of wine or beer for a small fee. The work done is far better than any other salon I've ever gone too, which is about 30 years. New to the area and needed an eyebrow wax because I was getting married the next day. The lady did not fully pluck the hairs on my right eyebrow so I had to do that myself. Anne and johnny have been doing nails for 20+ years so they know exactly what they're doing when your nails are falling apart in less than two weeks -- if they wanted your nails to stay on longer they would know how instead of telling me that it's because my hands are dry !!! that's the first time I've ever heard that excuse!! Literally I had three nails lifting not even the week after !!!! So disappointed and has been so difficult to find a good nail shop I travel anywhere from Tacoma to Seattle three days a week it shouldn't be that hard but I have been getting my nails done for so long that I know how it should look how long they should be last and how I should be treated but finding someone to act accordingly is the difficult part!! There are too many shops out there that are rude, careless to their clients (nails & feelings) snarl their faces and talk crap behind your back in their language!!! I am sick of looking all over Tacoma, Renton, Kent , Seattle, everywhere!!! ALSO MY DAUGHTER POSTED A NICE COMMENT AND SHE DOESNT LIKE THESE GUYS ANYMORE EITHER !!!! read more

Mina does a good job but customer service here is TERRIBLE. Today, I was left sitting in the pedicure station with the foil and plastic things on my fingers for more than 45minutes. After my pedi was done I was told it would be 10 min to get on with my powder dip. I took the stuff off my nails, paid for the pedi and left after 35 minutes following the 10 minutes I was told the wait would be. This wasn't the first time I had been neglected and had discussed the matter with Mina on another occasion. She ignored me, sitting waiting and instead took a walk-in to do a full set on. I arrived at 2:15 and left at 4:07 with only the pedi done and being ignored. Two years of this poor service is just too much. There are many options in Lakewood. Choose one of them. read more

**updating my review** It's been a couple months since i last visited this place. While i was going there regularly i brought a couple different people in with me and they would always get classic manicures and i would get my acrylics filled.. but all the guests i brought told me that their manicures started chipping the next day and all also had visible mistakes and lumps on their polishes. Where i really drew the line with this place was with the inconsistency in the pricing... it seemed like every time i came here i would be charged more and more. I don't really know if they keep track of what your being charged for but I'm pretty sure i was probably overcharged multiple times :( the people who work here are all nice but the inconsistency was unbearable . read more

Went here because of the reviews. Pedicure started out good enough until the polish removal. The nail tech literally was using the tool to push cuticules to peel off my gel polish. The one foot went ok, then she literally ripped one of my toenails off! I saw there was a little blood on my toe. Then another tech comes & takes the rest of the polish off like I normally get it taken off with the drill. Rest of the pedicure went ok, then ANOTHER tech came to paint my toes. Sloppy paint job, painted my skin on the toenail that is half ripped off and all over & not neat on the other toes. I could not get out of there fast enough. Got the middle range pedi, but it definitely was NOT worth the money for the shotty half assed job. It looked like I got a new girl because I've seen pretty good reviews & it looked like others got better service than I did. Definitely will not frequent this place again. read more

Not what I expected for a spa experience... I had a manicure and pedicure, and 3 different people and 2 hours later, not a relaxing experience. They messed up on my French tips and painted them white and then had to redo everything- obvious language barrier, and then when they finally got around to my Fingers, Mina cut my fingers 3 times with the tools, clearly rushing to get to the next customer and had bubbles on my nails, and had a guy finish up. I do not recommend. For the quality of the work and pain caused, definitely not worth the price I paid. read more

Mina Nails - My nails, no tips with acrylic over it & a gel nail polish. Coffin shape!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Lakewood, Washington

I had my nails done here w/ Mina herself. I had my dip powder set (from another shop) taken off for a new full set of acrylic & gel polish. I'm so glad I found this shop on Yelp! I went thru pictures on their yelp page & I fell in love w/ a color and shape. I showed Mina the picture because I had a hard time finding the color. She found them right away & got to work! Let me tell you.... I usually would have to tell the nail tech how I like my shape multiple times, mention when things are forgotten about or just asking for something else all together because it just doesn't look right. For my first time EVER, the nail tech (MINA) worked her entire way thru & I was 100% happy w/ everything. Unbelievable! I highly recommend. They took a few walk-in's, but I recommend you call in & set an appointment ahead of time. read more
