This time I showed her a picture from Pinterest and VOILA- 15 minutes later my face was framed beautifully. If you've never had threading - THIS it what it should feel like - next to nothing and no where near the pain of waxing. Threading is precise and pretty painless. This is the best place in the area for threading! Poonam is such a sweet lady, she pays an incredible amount of detail to your desires AND your comfort! So many people that do threading are rough with your skin and she takes special interest in working with you to be as gentle as can be! I've been coming here for several years for threading and I'm always happy with how my eyebrows turn out! I've also gotten leg waxes and been happy with those too. The shop owner Poonam is friendly and she does a good job listening to what you want. Her prices are very fair, especially for the quality of service and friendliness. I like threading because it doesn't irritate my skin like waxing does, and Poonam is very gentle (all things considered - you are pulling your hairs out by the root!). read more

I came here for henna and I was impressed with the intricacy of the designs and the talent of the artist. She was kind and accommodating with same day appointment making through the yelp app. She responded very quickly and there was no wait for my appointment. The artist makes her own organic henna and the smell is wonderful! Her attention to detail and intriguing conversation made my visit warm. Like a great hair dresser you've known for years, she takes time to talk through the process even if you've done it before. She also provides her own designs but I recommend allowing her to do what's in her mind, especially if you're covering a hand or arm with henna. The price is very affordable and because of her skill, the entire design for 1 hand covering took about 15 mins. I didn't get the design on my palms because I was driving. The Arch Maestro really is a hidden gem! Although it was a bit difficult to locate at first, the gps took me straight to Papa Murphy's. It's around the left of that building, down the strip and it's the last suite on the end of that building. Poonam was really nice and she did amazing work on my eyebrows, taking the time to see how my brows should frame my face. For $12 she threaded my brows and was careful and skilled to not catch any skin. She was very meticulous and did not leave any stragglers behind. I'll most certainly be making her my go to esthetician from here forward. read more

Amazing. I have been to dozens of threading places when I lived in NYC and this little gem in Olympia stands out as one of the best I have ever been to anywhere. The woman really listened to what I wanted, I have been growing out my eyebrows and was paranoid about her taking too much off, but she did just a little then asked me before taking anymore, patiently shaping them so I was comfortable with how much she took off. Her technique was also excellent and the threading didn't hurt despite the fact I hadn't had my eyebrows done in months. She was also extremely sweet and friendly. The place a little hard to find as its off the side of a building but was not too difficult. The only thing I would wish is that they also included tinting services in addition to threading. Price was very cheap just $12 for a threading and she asked for no tips (although I wanted to give one for outstanding service) so it was just the $12! Absolutely wonderful experience with eyebrow threading! I have never had anyone work on my eyebrows before. I was nervous it would hurt but saw on the yelp reviews that Poonam is very gentle. What a lovely experience! The place I went to in Tacoma was so rough, I just expected threading to be super painful every time. This experience was closer to a spa service. Only one person is allowed in at a time, there is sanitizer available, and she uses a tool that allows her to keep a mask on during the threading. She took the time to pay attention to what I asked for and went slowly. My brows look AMAZING. I already made another appointment. Thankful I found this rare gem on google!!! So happy with the service I received. She was so friendly & efficient. I've gone to many eyebrow places locally and they all either leave my eyebrows too thin, leave little strands of hair that look messy, or rush through it and overall do a sh*tty job. She definitely took her time & was very precise. She didn't miss even the littlest prick of hair. My eyebrows have never looked this good! She also has the technique down, I haven't had my brows done in awhile & she was so good that it wasn't as painful as I was expecting! Also her shop is cute & cozy, it's kind of hidden but it's right on the corner of the building directly behind the furniture shop. She is also just the sweetest lady! This of course was my first time here but I had such a positive experience for my first time that I'll absolutely be returning. Such a great experience! I just moved from Los Angeles and was nervous to try a new place, but Poonam was amazing! I had never actually had someone ask what shape I wanted before, so I had no idea when she asked me, but I deferred to her expertise.
