Very nice place. Sweet sweet ladies. Music, not TV. Open at 10:30 on Sunday. Closed on Tuesday. Edit: one of my nails didn't get enough UV light and the gel started to lift. I messaged the salon with a picture and they said they would fix it. I was ready to pay for the repair and they said no. If something is wrong in the first 5 days they will fix. I have been meaning to leave a review for a couple weeks. If you don't know this establishment has new owners and the employees are new if you didn't like the past people. The 2 new ladies working here are so good! I decided to try them for a pedicure because they were having a discount for the reopening. I'm so glad I gave them a chance. They spend so much more time than every where else! They're not in a hurry to get you right out and I really appreciate that! You definitely get your money's worth! They have a lot of colors and don't seem to dilute them down so the color lasts! Give them a try; they'll remember your name after your first visit! read more

I went in with so many ideas and Katie definitely worked with me and executed my multicolored ombré with 4 finger freestyle designs. I wanted butterflies and she definitely incorporated that vision. My original posting from a month ago said: Good massages. Good job with my fill. Super sharp square edges. Not the best color selections. I was bummed when I asked if they could do ombré and they said that could only do it with powder. It didn't seem like they were able to do many new trendy nail designs. I felt this was a very fair review. It highlighted what they did well at my visit, as well as how they wouldn't do what I asked with the gel polish. I've know many people who have disliked the powder and I've seen people who try it for the first time in the nail salon immediately ask to have it taken off. I didn't trust that if they couldn't do anything with the gel that I'd be happy with the powder. This was simply a review stating if you're like me and love gel to not waste your time because they really won't do much with it and try to push the powder on you. Then I get a message from the owner. I've included a screen shot of the conversation. I don't appreciate the rudeness and low level of professionalism. I have gone twice first time i had my toes done and the sec time i did both...its been a week and my left hand has started to chip away i spent a lot of money to only have my hands look nice for a week..i wont go back! Upon a couple times visiting this salon, i would say I am 200% satisfied with the services that come with reasonable prices. Nowhere in this area you can find a salon with this top notch service for the same price range. The salon was clean and sanitary even though they were super super busy. I called ahead on a Friday and made a last minute appointment. They were able to fit me in and I'm so glad that they were! They were very nice to me and did a great job even after they knew I was on vacation and would only be there that one time. One of my nails was broken and another was crooked, they fixed all of that. The polish I have is mood changing from purple to blue and they have rhinestones available as well. Mine are coffin shape. I like that they're not too skinny at the top. Nails are thin enough to pick up coins and strong enough to not break. Definitely recommend this shop!! read more

Given that we just entered Phase 2 of opening up nail salons during Covid 19 I was appalled by their lack of sanitary practices. WARNING: UNSANITARY conditions!!! The same gloves were used over and over and not changed between customers. When I got to the fingernail station the same dirty towel was there from the two previous customers. I asked them to change it. They didn't wipe down the nail station between customers, not even run a dry towel over it. I went to the bathroom next to the front door (is there another?) and there was a notice on the mirror that the sink was for employees only. What?!!! What about all of us washing our hands?!?! As for the employees themselves - except for the very nice young man who answered the phone and greeted me when i came in the women were unfriendly which is different than all the people I've met in Olympia. Now for the quality of work. She spent about half the time on my pedicure I've ever experienced. On my fingernails another woman didn't even cover my nail with polish: I had my brows waxed. Every single time I've ever had my brows waxed they also pluck a bit to get them really clean. Not here. It was literally a three minute wax job. When she handed me the mirror I was shocked that she was already done. They also didn't trim my brows, also a first (and I have serious brows!) Bad experience all around and I definitely won't go back to such an unsanitary business during these covid times (or normal times!) read more

They take great care of you and do what they can to stay on trend and offer the best styles out there. They have different versions of pedicures you can choose from. I've been making the 20 min drive from my house to come here because each experience has been a great one. They shape natural nails really well, polish the entire nail without me having to say anything, and can copy just about any design you show them from Pinterest. Their prices are pretty standard with any other salon but I feel like the service is so much better than anywhere else I've been. I think I've been here 4 or 5 times but I have had zero complaints. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This was my first time here and definitely my last. Not only is customer service lacking, but so is quality work. You can see in the pictures of the poor quality. For my husband to say something when he saw my nails is huge. While the lady was painting my nails we both noticed the bubbles and she just said she would put another coat which did absolutely nothing! I did return to get them fixed but the poor customer service I received I will never return. They acted as if I caused the way they looked. I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

This is a hard place for me to rate. They did a fine job with manicure and pedicure. Their staff was friendly and accommodating, but they are not following sanitary practices with COVID. We didn't have to have temperature checks or fill out anything that we were there. When we left the pedicure station to manicures, our pedicure chairs were not wiped down. When we got up to pay, our manicure stations were not wiped down. To top off all of these insanitary practices, a customer came in without a mask on and proceeded to their pedicure chair without a mask on and was never asked to put one on. read more

I wish I remembered the name of the young gal who did my manicure because she did them perfectly (Kayla I think)! My gel nails still have not chipped after two weeks of working with kids at camp, swimming, working with horses, cooking, and plenty of hiking and biking. 4 cuts, a bleeding cuticle, sloppy and clumpy gel, a full set of uneven lengths and different shaped nails 2 hours later and I had to pay for the worst nails I've ever had. Did I mention that they put the wrong color and finish? I went with it because I honestly didn't want to spend another 2 hours there. Not only was the nail service terrible, the tech couldn't understand me when I told her the base of the uv dryer was on BACKWARDS so the finger slots were on my palms and the palm area was towards the back of the dryer, therefore making it nearly impossible to fit my petite hand in the dryer. Would not recommend unless you enjoy possible infections and sloppy nails. read more

Still on the lookout for a good nail salon for when I'm staying in Lacey. This place wasn't it. I get that they wanted to help me because I walked in but putting me in between appointments probably wasn't the best. I don't mind waiting a while because I understand when you have to put your appointments first. I've had salons ask me if I wanted to make an appointment for a different day or if I wanted to wait for until after their appointments, I don't mind that at all as long as you take your time and care for my nails when it's my turn. I felt like my nail tech was rushing. My nails ended up different lengths and shapes that weren't noticeable at first but I noticed when it was too late. I was able to get a good look at my nails because everything was going so fast. I am really bummed because the nails that I've seen in pictures and the reviews I've read gave me high hopes. I received a confirmation text for a 12:15 pm check-in so we could be done by 2:30 pm. I think everything is straight here. I get a call the day before saying I need to be there at 10:30 am and that my appointment was moved. Pretty inconvenient when you have your freaking wedding day planned out already. We still made it work. Showed up and we were not greeted. No one was to be found. Waited around for about ten mins and finally got put in chairs for hair. Sarah (who did my hair) was friendly enough. I think she did her best and wanted me to feel good about my hair so thank you. The girl who did my sisters hair (Deja) was obviously less experienced and needed to almost be talked through the whole thing. Even on how to use a bobby pin. We asked for curls and some hair pulled back into twists. Mine was okay but my sister's was curled in some places and straight in others. Also, due to the time being moved up, we had to try and make the look last until 5 pm. Moved on to makeup and waited again for another 15 minutes or so. Finally someone pulls me over and starts. I forget her name but she was friendly enough too. My sister kept waiting for Sydney to come out and start on hers. After probably waiting another 10 mins, she comes out and asks what my sister wants. She said she wanted full makeup and Sydney responds to her with "why don't you just do it yourself". Excuse me?? We came here and made appointments for these services then you tell us to do it ourselves. Needless to say, my sister walked out. Other than Sarah and my makeup girl, the girls that work here are just kinda rude and don't do a very good job. I'm disappointed because it was my wedding day and they made something fun to be super stressful. Also, the pricing is not very clearly listed. They charged me for a wash and dry but we came in with washed and dried hair. Clueless all the way around. Maybe this place works for a regular Tuesday hair trim but DONT come here for your wedding day. Can't say I will return either way.

New owners are great Tony hand drew the Seahawks bird for me and did an excellent job! His sister Katie is very good at explaining prices and if a staff said something in another language she would make sure to tell me what they said and apologized for not speaking in English. There were a few people who were turned away while I'm we were there. My mom got a gel manicure and I got a volcano pedicure and gel manicure. The reason I gave four stars instead of five was for two reasons. The first, it took so long. We arrived at 930 and didn't leave until 1130. My manicure was quick but my pedicure took awhile. I don't know if it's because I got more than the basic and haven't had my toes done in years but that's the longest I've ever been in a nail salon. The second reason is because my mom paid ahead of time after she was done with her manicure but we ended up having to pay a difference because the glitter on my nails was not included in a normal gel manicure. It's not too big of a deal but it would have been nice to have been told that when I was asked if I wanted to do anything on my nail. Overall we are really happy with our nails and will definitely be going back. I even purchased a gift certificate at the end so my husband could go in and get his feet taken care of.
