I was told I needed a completely new set, with the explanation that after 3-4 fills you always need a new set. That information itself wasn't the issue--it was the condescending tone used when explaining it. The old set was not soaked off and was instead peeled off, which was painful. After the new set was finished, my hands were covered in powder and glue. When I asked to wash my hands, I was told it wasn't necessary and that I could wash them at home. I left with dust and glue still on my hands and shirt. I paid $120. This was my third visit, and none of the visits felt welcoming. The work itself was mostly cute too, but I felt rushed and like an inconvenience. Because of the lack of care and customer service, I won't be returning.

Each visit, I go in asking for a basic pedicure with gel -- nothing fancy. In my head, I'm expecting to pay maybe $50-$55 max, understanding that gel costs a bit more. But every single time, I somehow end up paying close to $100. This time was no different. I politely asked for a basic pedicure, and the tech immediately gave me a look of annoyance. They made me wait quite a while before even starting. Once they finally began, they removed my nail polish and trimmed my nails, but didn't bother removing any dead skin around my toes -- which is basic pedicure 101. When it came to the callus treatment, it felt like they were barely even touching my feet -- more like petting than scrubbing. I let it slide and figured I'd just get in and out. Toward the end, I asked if I could also get a quick manicure, and they agreed. The woman doing it was actually doing a good job -- she cleaned up around my nails, polished them well, added wax, and gave a nice hand massage. But again -- I never asked for any extras, no deluxe anything, no special add-ons. Then came the bill. $95. Absolutely insane. No clear breakdown of charges, no price list available -- and I noticed they've taken down their price board completely. Probably because more and more people are catching on to their shady pricing tactics. When I asked to see a price list, they couldn't (or wouldn't) provide one. I truly believe they're adding charges for services you didn't ask for, and banking on you not speaking up. And honestly -- if the place was sparkling clean and professional, maybe it would be worth the premium. But they reuse tools without sanitizing them, which I personally witnessed. That is not only unprofessional -- it's a health risk. Bottom line: This place is overpriced, unsanitary, and dishonest with their pricing. They throw in extras without asking, then act surprised when you question the bill. I will not be going back, and I strongly recommend others think twice before stepping in.

They spent more time massaging than an actual pedicure service, obviously nobody doesn't like a massage but that's not what I'm paying for. I got a basic solid gel color with no add ons or designs, once I got up to pay I was changed $70, I have no idea why the up-charged me and added 10 random dollars but at this point I was too upset and didn't want to argue so I paid and left a $5 tip, I was given a dirty look for leaving a small tip, I decided the $10 they added on for no reason can count as the rest of my tip. 0/10 will never be coming back when there's SOOO many other salons around.

I've been coming to Cindy's for 23 years, my first manicure was when I was 5 years old. I love them…read morelike family! They're more old fashion, but they take great care of you. They have these big black cushioned computer chairs but will find ways to make you feel comfortable. They have the pedicure buckets but their massages are next level. If you ask for water/juice/tea they bring it. And have a small tv that will typically have a good movie on! They are very detailed but if there's anything you want for your experience ask and they do it. As I got older there's trends I like and typically if I show them a photo they get really close. Another thing is time, they take care of every cuticle and your nails will go through some processes so it be may be more to the time consuming side. If you're in a rush let them know ahead of time. But a full set mani-pedi from them runs anywhere between 1-2.5 hours and about $70-90 without a tip (which use to be a lot less for the longest but they have to increase prices because competition and the economy). They are the most integral. Do sweet and actually care about their work. I might have special treatment but kindness goes a long way with them! Fills start at $40+ and fills run you about $25 flat (cash only)
