Quality I didn't have expectations as for nails because there were a lot of bad reviews about local nail salons, but this one is by far the best!! This is as sophisticated as what I have gotten in Korea so far and Su did a great job. *I was quite hesitant when I had to decide the length and procedure, but my nail technician Su suggested me what I had in mind. Vibe It was busy when I got there at 5pm, Friday but they didn't make me wait for long. My session went as how I scheduled. Everyone was friendly. Pricing Acrylic nail removal + Powder dip nail cost me 60 dollars. It took me a little bit more than 1.5 hours. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I wish i read deeper than a few reviews before I went in. I had the same experience as another reviewer- I came in with acrylic/dip gel on my nails. To remove them- they used an acrylic nail to wedge between my actual nail and the acrylic on me to pry it off! No soaking or anything. Just dry ripping off the acrylics from my nail bed. It was incredibly painful and tore up my nails. I decided in that moment to end the service and not get my nails done and just pay for the removal. The manicurist pressed me really hard to stay and continue the service and the vibe of the place was incredible rude and judgmental as I drew my boundaries. I politely refused, paid the $10 plus left a $5 tip because I felt bad for not going through with the appointment. read more

Our service took a long time since they were short staffed (it's Lunar New Years) yet it was well worth the wait! It's the first time we've stopped in this nail spa, yet we'll be back !! I made an appointment for two people at 4pm on a Friday. There were two walk-in customers that arrived right before me. The employees took in the two walk-ins, I had to wait 20 minutes for my appointment and my friend had to wait a full HOUR (she did not get her appointment time slot until 5pm). The service was good enough, but my friends appointment was rushed. There were no apologies or acknowledgement from any of the employees for waiting which was really disappointing. I tried this salon for the first time hoping to find my new "go-to" place, however, my experience waiting was not great so I'm not sure that I will make the effort to come back (Id rather just stick to another salon that I know). They did do a good job on my nails. The tech actually suggested a nail combination that I really loved, which was nice. read more

I have gotten a new full set here at this shop and just got a fill on that set today, I have consistently gotten high quality nails that are exactly what I ask for if not better each time. I wouldn't recommend US Nails to anyone looking for a comfortable nails experience. I wore a beautiful brown skirt into this business and one of the women who was not my nail artist told me from across the store that I "need to eat more." In the 10 years I've lived in Tacoma I have not been beholden to one particular nail salon - they probably all hate me because I only go sporadically and I tend to get a wild hair and then just go to whatever decently reviewed place I'm nearest at the time. This is the one place that I keep returning to, though. Yeah, they may speak Thai to each other while you're sitting there - that's your cue to just close your eyes and relax in the massage chair. i always go here to do my nails. i've always had the nice ladies help me. i always get the same set. a french tip and leave happy. the man that helped me said he said he's been doing nails for 20 years. but it was the worst experience ive ever had in my life. and said it was my fault for the way my nails came out. He did what he wanted starting with the size of the nail and blamed my nail bed for being small he couldn't do the correct shape or style of nail I asked for . He proceeded to say it was my nail after trying to fix it and was rough once I spoke up . Then he got up violently and yelled he has been doing nails for over 20 years I can't tell him he's wrong it was the size of my nail bed . this is how i left the shop. after he yelled at me. he got up out his coat on to leave the shop. but he never left. i wasn't told sorry until i started crying .. i've never been treated this way . read more

Definitely felt like they took their time and looked to correct mistakes/clean up the nails. However, left the salon disappointed with the amount of "flooding" to my cuticles/nail edges. Gave this spot a second chance and they fckd it up even more the second time around. Made an appointment for 5, didn't get seated until 5:45. The person doing my nail rushed me, didn't ask for any clarifications. Also did the wrong color but I didn't bother to ask to fix it because she was already giving me an attitude. She bent my hand and fingers in all types of angles (literally cracked my shit). My friend's nail lady was more gentle with her but also did not ask for clarification. I will not be returning. It was my first visit to this salon, which I chose bc it had good reviews. I just needed my acrylic/dip nails removed. They got me in quick, everything went well until she sliced my ring finger nail basically in half. (She was using an acrylic nail to go between my acrylic and nail itself.. slid right under my actual nail! Ouch!!) The nail tech kept going without saying anything and I had to stop her in fear of her doing more damage/inflicting more pain. She didn't say sorry until I stopped her and said it hurt. Eventually she had another gal finish. They weren't very apologetic and I asked for a discount which one snickered at. Instead of $15, they charged me $10. I understand accidents happen but how they handled it, was poor. read more

If I could give them a zero, I seriously would. I visited three times trying to get a simple set. I was treated differently immediately at the door. Two "fairer" skinned women walked in behind me and sat right away. I had been given a thirty-forty minute wait. My third time back after waiting the forty minutes I return to no nail techs being available and the women smiling trying to get me to sit and pick a color.. horrible service. I received my pedicure at the end of last year. Soon after I came back from my Christmas trip I found that I got infected with fungal nails!!!! I quickly recalled that the lady who did my toe was not that professional and made some cuts on my toe that caused me great deal of pain. She seemed like a new employee. However, I have to go to see the doctor because it's swollen and it started to bleed with little pressure. I now still have this inflammation and swollen situation even it's almost a year!!! I spent few hundred bucks just to fix this toe but it's still going on..... This is really a medical issue and I am thinking should I go talk to them about this.... read more

I hate my feet being touched but going on a trip I needed my toes done and figured I'd get my uneven nails done as well! I never have been here but thought I'd give it a shot. My little pamper session was really great! I was a walk in and even though it was busy I was sat in the pedi chair right away. I waited only about 5 minutes (I was getting my chair massage so it went so fast!). Sue worked on my nails while Lele (sorry if not the spelling!) worked on my feet. They were so fast with being attentive and was pretty relaxed for the most part - even with my overly sensitive feet! Just a few little snags on them but it wasn't too bad at all! Came here today and got a fill & gel polish for $35. I could not be more pleased with my nails! The last manicure I had from a different establishment left me feeling wary to go back and trust someone else with my nails. I'm so glad I came to US nails. The attention to detail was incredible. Meticulous level of nail prep. Making sure every corner and edge and cuticle was just right. I work with my hands for a living and had TOTALLY destroyed my cuticles, so I was glad to have them fixed I believe the gal I had was Thu? I really appreciated the time she took, but also that she checked in to see if I needed to be anywhere by a certain time. Most places just rush through and are trying to get the next person in the chair, I did not feel that here at all. I felt completely attended to and that I, as a customer, was actually important.
