I've been coming to Cindy's for 23 years, my first manicure was when I was 5 years old. I love them like family! They're more old fashion, but they take great care of you. They have these big black cushioned computer chairs but will find ways to make you feel comfortable. They have the pedicure buckets but their massages are next level. If you ask for water/juice/tea they bring it. And have a small tv that will typically have a good movie on! They are very detailed but if there's anything you want for your experience ask and they do it. As I got older there's trends I like and typically if I show them a photo they get really close. Another thing is time, they take care of every cuticle and your nails will go through some processes so it be may be more to the time consuming side. If you're in a rush let them know ahead of time. But a full set mani-pedi from them runs anywhere between 1-2.5 hours and about $70-90 without a tip (which use to be a lot less for the longest but they have to increase prices because competition and the economy). They are the most integral. Do sweet and actually care about their work. I might have special treatment but kindness goes a long way with them! I've been going to Cindy for over five years...her and her two sisters really are the best in the nail game. This is a small, old school spot. There are no pedicure chairs, just the old school bowls. They make up for it with their massages. I've tried other nail places...but I've always come back. Again this place is old school so if you want a new thing like chrome nails, this isn't for you. I really did not want to write this review. Here's my experience: I saw the other yelp reviews and they were five stars, almost all of them. I immediately decided this was where I was going to go. I came in for an acrylic fill and was immediately helped. The gel selection was small, but I found a color I liked in no time. Cindy did my nails and she was VERY sweet, gentle, and caring. She took her time and asked me if I was happy with the shape and length and I loved it and I was genuine. I really did like the length and shape and that point my experience was five stars. She started painting my nails with the gel and the light and was touching up the edges with a small brush. However, I wasn't paying tons of attention and had complete trust in her at that point. My nails were done and I paid and left. However, when I got in my car and looked at my nails more, I noticed the gel was very thick and my nail beds were messy (please see the pictures). I feel bad because I did leave the shop not making sure I loved the product and I didn't say anything to Cindy. I'm debating going back tomorrow and asking if she can clean them up (the nail bed). I might be back if in a pinch, but i'm still on the hunt for the best nail tech in the south sound. Just some tips: this place is CASH ONLY. bring enough cash this shop is Cindy and her two sisters only, so if your schedule is tight make an appointment. parking is rough and you might have to look for a close spot. there is parking in the back and there is a back door that is open to people to come through. read more

I felt like I was spending a lot of money at salons for gel manicures that were not great and/or did not hold up. I have now had Cindy do my nails twice and I am sticking with her. You need to call and make an appointment, but I did same day and next day without any problems. Probably park in the back. There are some other comments on here about this being kind of no frills salon, and that's true aesthetically. There aren't pedicure chairs with whirlpool baths lining the walls. But I am not looking for a cute salon - I want for my nails to look nice and hold up. Cindy does a great job and is professional and friendly. It's clean. EXCELLENT customer service! I came in on a Friday with my girls for pedi's. I disliked my flower so I called and came back on Monday to have it fixed. They fixed it, gave me an extra coat on all toes and returned my $5 for the flower! And did it all happily!! They do not have the big spa chairs and so don't offer 'deluxe pedicure' but do an really great job with polish and actually listen to any requests you have. We will be back! read more

My nails are gorgeous. Cindy is amazing in detail when it came to a fill and cuticles. The few places I have gone to never did the underside where my nail is, unless I asked. But I'm married, so it's part of the contract. Honestly I was very reluctant. But when I left Cindy's, my feet actually felt amazing. I have been to this salon a long time ago. I got my set of nails put on somewhere else and was not so happy. I then got a fill at another place and still was not happy. I decided to try cindys again and these sisters are the nicest sisters eeeeever. Lynn did my fill and she is thorough and detailed about getting the nail shape just right. The fill was perfect. No bumps or dips which I have gotten from other places. They take their time and get it right no matter how busy they are. It is definitely worth the wait if they are busy.
