I enjoy going to this nail salon. They do a great job using hard gel, it's clean and generally not too difficult to get an appointment. It's a little difficult to find since there is an apartment building under construction in front, but there's plenty of parking. read more

When I moved to Tacoma a year ago, I tried a few nail salons before I found this one. Once I tried Soh, this became my top choice to get my nails done, hands down! I've been here at least 6 times by now and they consistently do a great job! All the ladies here are so welcoming, kind and professional. The prices are affordable, especially for the pedicures. I've loved it when I've gone in before but today had a nail tech telling me how thin my nails were, several reasons why I didn't grow them out correctly, she continuously used the nail grinder on my skin which really hurt, and she left a ton of polish on my skin as well to the point where my nails are totally glued to my skin. The appointment took TWO HOURS just for my hands and I got dip without a full manicure. I will not be going back after today's miserable appointment. read more

They do a good job on pedicures, but I wish they'd use plastic liners for cleanliness - I don't know if they're scrubbing well between clients. They have nee staff recently who don't do a great job. For manicures, I'll never get another gel manicure here. They do a fine job, but when they take off the gel they don't soak it off - they sand it off. They sanded off so much that my natural nails had big dips in them and were painfully thin. read more

Great service at Soh Nails and Spa. I booked on the phone for my daughter and I. We arrived and were sat within minutes. Our technicians were very thorough. Not the fanciest place, but nice none the less. The only feedback I have is to use plastic liners in the tubs to avoid cross contamination. Overall, great experience and will come back. read more

Excellent service for a last minute manicure and pedicure today. I have a business trip tomorrow and want to look my best. Phone was answered quickly, they had room to see me today. Upon entry, the spa is clean and calm. They're not busy today and I wish I would have come earlier. Yea did a great job on my pedicure. I'm not sure I got her name right (Yea or Yim?) yet super nice lady, who is working hard and doing a fabulous job. I opted for the spa pedicure plus hot stones and the same for the spa manicure. All equipment is super clean. They opened a new, single use package for pedicure treatment, which I'm not used to seeing. I appreciate their efforts at sanitation! I've tried 4-5 nail salons in and around Tacoma for gel pedicures and this was by far the best experience I've had. The establishment was super clean, I watched staff scrub the wash basins for feet thoroughly between customers. Staff put so much care and effort into my pedi. They shaped/cleaned up every nail thoroughly and put extra effort into the drier areas of my feet when exfoliating. They took their time on every step, even the massage at the end! My feet have honestly not looked better after a pedicure, and for such a reasonable price! I will definitely be returning! read more

Their service seemed rushed. When I first arrived they did my toes which was amazing they massaged and took their time with this process. However when I got to the table to get my nails done that changed. I initially showed the nail tech a photo of what I wanted on Pinterest she confirmed with me and agreed she could do it. However, during the process she switched to doing her own thing and began doing what she felt was best. Disregarding my request as a customer. I've been here twice as a walk-in and both times they've gotten me in a chair within minutes of walking in. The staff is very friendly and they do a wonderful job! They have a tv playing shows so if you're getting your fingernails done you still have something to watch. They also make an effort to take care of you while being time efficient at a great price! Update, went back for a fill, wanted the same colors, same sparkle , only asked that they paint the nails 1/2 blue 1/2 green. After she had painted the full nails one color I was concerned, then she started painting the blue OVER the green, which made it a horrible puke green color. I said no, take it off. Guess I'll do it EXACTLY THE SAME AS BEFORE please. As I didn't want to be rude. She put on a clear coat & told me it was done. I asked about the sparkles. She said " oh you should have told me that BEFORE I PUT THE TOP COAT ON, I can't do it now. So I guess I'm DONE?! Apparently I AM. Any OTHER NAIL SHOW I HAVE BEEN TO WOULD HAVE RE-DONE the nails to make sure I got what I asked for. NOT THIS ONE. Thats it, you get what you get. They do it the way they feel like doing it. Didn't even fill down to the cuticle, so I will need a fill sooner. Drove a LONG WAY TO GET THIS DONE & even though it was $10 cheaper for the fill, it was NOT WORTH IT TO ME. WONT BE BACK. The technicians are so sweet and kind, but the skills are lacking for the price I paid ($57 not including my tip). It's definitely cute from a far, but also definitely done unskillfully. The mistakes are far too noticeable in person and looks messy. She sealed dust and lint on my nail and didn't clean the excess polish on the sides and even the top. Leaving a messy and unwanted marble. She noticed the abrasion left on my thumb nail and proceeded to just reseal it with polish. Very nice place. I've gotten pedicures here twice and both were good. The pedicure chairs are new and give a deep massage to spots you can choose and adjust. Best chairs I've seen. They have a TV but it was muted so it's a quiet environment. Suggest you call ahead a bit though they can see you within a few minutes if a walk-in. I was given a good leg massage with my basic and the lady was very kind. Prices are very reasonable. Love coming here. read more

Fantastic pedicure! Took my husband there for his first pedicure. Very clean and newer seeming chairs. We did the deluxe pedicure that included the sugar scrub. Most places put it on your legs and maybe let it sit a little bit then wash it off but they actually massaged our legs and feet till it dissolved. I have had a lot of pedicures with the same pedicure kit and that was a first. Every step they took their time which was really appreciated since many places seem to rush through all the steps. My husband has the nicest feet and I have the worst dry feet but by the end they looked about the same It was really good! The only issue which was not their fault was a customer brought in food from a nearby poke place (Poke Pop which is five stars). It had really strong onions that were not pleasant. We were just headed out but I felt bad for the staff and other customers who had just come in since it kind of ruined the ambiance. It was a good reminder to not bring in food that is highly scented...good smelling or not. This for sure is my new pedicure place and my husband may be hooked!! read more

This nail shop has only been open 5 weeks and it nice and clean. Also they use individually wrapped products (lotion, cuticle softer and treatment for the water that you soak feet in). The utensils they use are wrapped and they said they clean them daily. The top coat dried in like 5 minutes...amazing and awesome!!! The owner was nice and offered the customers a bottle of water. The chairs that you do pedicures are like state of the art. The chairs have different massage levels and has a hook to hang my purse and also USB outlets to charge your electronic devices...so awesome and the chair was comfortable. Great spot for a pedicure! My feet were in bad shape. You get to pick from different packages including sugar scrub and mask and either hot stones or paraffin. I went with the paraffin and highly recommend! It leaves your feet so soft after they exfoliate your feet. Also got gel on my toes and I think for all that it was reasonably priced! I came here for a fill and immediately the lady with glasses seemed to have a bit of an attitude. She was aggressive with the drill, which caused me to jerk my hands a couple times. She also got the acrylic all over my cuticles, which has never happened to me before and hurt to peel off. About two hours later, one of my nails already broke and I came back two hours before close to get it fixed. She said no, we're busy. I said I could come back and she said no. I had to resort to putting glue on it so it wouldn't come off even further since I coach. Horrible service. Never coming back. Also... to trim my nails (which I didn't ask her to do), she used SCISSORS. read more
