She is helpful and informative and my nails have naturally strengthened so much in recent visits. They have the gel build and repair options too if you don't prefer to go acrylic. This place is super affordable and more inclusive in options (basic pedicure - hot stones, massage, removal and the all the smell good scrubs) which is helpful and creates more of a spa experience. I've been here a few times and I loved it. But this last time I visited 2 days ago. The guy in front seemed like he didn't want me there at all with the way he was talking to me. And the lady that did my nails had the same vibe. She kept burning my fingers with the electric nail failed and the curing light and I mentioned that I don't remember my hands burning so much and she smiled and nodded. I mentioned to her that one of my fingers were supposed to be painted gold. She looked at me, smiled and said yea. She continued to paint them red. And even after horribly adding the gems to that nail she asked me if it was okay. After showing her a picture and mentioning it a few times I said sure whatever. I don't have the time to sit and argue with someone who clearly didn't care for their work or employment. She never let me pick the correct color, never asked me what kind of gems I wanted. She just went ahead and helped herself. I was extremely uncomfortable with how aggressive she was with my hands. They said they will review the cameras after a few days. I've never felt so horrible for the way they treated me the entire visit. I've always spoke highly of this place and have spent a lot of money on my past sets. I'm a CEO and was hosting a company dinner and i work with my hands a lot so i had trusted them like i had with my previous sets. But this arrogance was enough for me. Elly Nails came highly recommended by a colleague. Her biggest sell was that this salon autoclaves their nail tools between guests. I called prior to my arrival to ensure availability. They didn't have a wait (it's Tuesday & the middle of the day). It's been a hot minute since I've gotten a pedicure, and I was happy to see their selection of pedicure services available. The price point runs from $25-$80, depending on the selection. I opted for their most basic, "express" because I wanted to get in and out between running errands. They offer snacks and beverages to customers, which is a very nice touch, especially if you're waiting before your service. She also got a fill but for her set , she needed 3 replacements , got acrylic flowers on both hands, pearls and square French tip, she got charged 90. Which is fair, she got a lot done. When it was my turn to pay, the lady said 80$. 80????? I didn't even get any designs or pearls or replacements and I got charged 80$ for a SHORT FILL with French tip. I asked her how come she charging me so much, she said it's the shape and the white stripe they do. I came here before and they always charge random prices. I've been charged from 45$-80$ now for the same look. It's a joke and they take advantage. She even told me that I should move on. I clearly stated in my first post that I had moved on. I don't know this lady. I'm sure I haven't been back since the old owner left. And the design pictured is my hand and DID NOT come from this lady. The old owner did that design. He did awesome designs. The products he used were just awful. Well, I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. I decided to get a full set of gel nails. First, I do have to say the nail tech Thao was very nice, so it's not the customer service I'm disappointed with. It's the final product. I asked for almond shape and as you can see in the pics, not only is the shape odd, but so is the length on all the nails. The worst part for me is the side view; the nail beds are flat and then the nails start pointing upwards. Not acceptable when she had a clean, new canvas to work with; she wasn't correcting someone else's work. I expect so much more for $50+$10 tip. I was really hoping this would be a great spot since it's between home and work. Now I have to wait for them to grow out and have them corrected at another salon when I get a fill. UPDATED 10/22/21 (1 day later) Lee (I think is the owner) contacted me immediately after my review and apologized for my nails and offered to fix them. We made an appointment for the next day and he did what he could with what he had to work with. I appreciate his attentiveness to resolve the issue and great customer service. So I asked them if they could do Killer Klown nails (I showed them some inspo pics from Pinterest and TikTok) and they said yes! They really tried! I think there are like 2 very skilled nail techs here and then some pretty bad ones. My manicure was gel and I could not get what I want as the tech did not understand me and I gave up. The gel did not cover my whole nail and was lumpy even I asked for it to be corrected. It also started peeling up within about a week. My pedi looks good but my ingrown toenails were ignored and one toe even got badly infected after my pedicure here. I won't be returning. read more

I made an appointment with Kate specifically after seeing her reviews. I read reviews everywhere because I just moved to the area and this set is for my wedding. Pretty simple appointment, dip powder with tips.. short length, almond shape and a basic pedi. I get there, and instead of having Kate do my nails, Rose did them while Evelyn did my pedicure. I actually really enjoyed having them both done at the same time so that I could get out of there quicker. Evelyn did amazing on my pedicure and went above and beyond what most nail places do for their basic pedi. However, my nails are disappointing. I noticed while Rose was putting the tips on that she was putting them on slightly slanted upward. I assumed that this was because I asked for almond shape, which I've never had before but wanted something more natural for the ceremony. After doing the dip powder and filing, my nails still had a very noticeable upward slope, so I mentioned it and Rose filed them a little more. It is still slightly noticeable and I can feel it when running my finger over my nails. slanting the tip also left a gap so there is a space under the tip/sns nail and my real nail. From the top they look okay but I can't get over the sides and bumps. Really bummed since I booked with a specific person and didn't get that person and now I have two days until my wedding and don't have time to get them fixed. read more

So.... I came to the shop because I saw all the great pictures of work they did. I was catfished. Photos say it all but I was very unhappy with how uneven and slanted they were. When I addressed it and asked to make it even the lady made them wayyyy shorter then needed to fix it like a whole 4 cm shorter and it was still in even. I was very upset but didn't make a big deal just knew I would never go back.
