This has got to be the best nail salon I have been to. Very sweet professional staff and I got a mimosa with my service! I was surprised because after my pedicure they gave me an arm and shoulder rub which surprised me but I didn't complain! I loved all the extra services and what the pedicure offered! When I asked for a soak off, she immediately grabbed a broken piece of plastic to dig under the acrylic to rip it off. When I said it hurt, she said it will be quicker. After I pulled my hand away and again said I wanted to soak off she got an attitude and was throwing my hands around and carelessly scraping my nails. read more

Really disheartening that I've been a patron and suggested this business for nearly a decade and was treated the way I just was on the phone. I called @9am Wednesday introducing myself and requesting a manager and the lady on the phone said her name is Kathy and she is the manager. I state the organization I represent and the call cut. I called again and Kathy said she hung up because she doesn't "handle any of that". My intentions of the call was to set reservations for 15 models on Sunday for a photoshoot I'm producing. After being hung up on twice before I could get more than two sentences out I am happy to take our business elsewhere & be sure to share this experience for the foreseeable future. read more

Walked in for a gel manicure and right away they told me to pick a color which was fine. After, they told me to sit in a chair and the nail tech would be with me. I waited for a good 10 minutes before the lady came over to where I was sitting but she didn't even start on my nails. She kept getting up and down and it took her another 5 minutes to get the nail polish I picked. During the whole manicure, it felt rushed and she barely, filed, cut and buffed my nails before starting on the nail polish. While she started on my nails, she kept making mistakes and fixing it with her finger instead of using a brush which lead to missing coats of nail polish on the side of my nails. She only did two coats, never asked me if I wanted a third and kept sticking my nails while hitting the inside of the gel machine to dry them. When she was done with the manicure, she barely tried with the hand massage and seemed uninterested in wanting to give me a nice experience here. When I got up to leave I noticed my nail was bleeding from when she cut me with her cuticle scissors and she did not say anything about the blood on my finger. I am so disappointed because I came here during Christmas and they took their time and my nails turned out great. This time she got me in and out in 20 minutes and did a horrible job. I went Friday and it was my first time there! Nail polish hasn't dried at all and they cut it first before asking me how short i wanted it cut!! I went back and they told me i had to pay $15 for them to fix it since they won't give me any of my money back and they say it takes awhile for black to dry but it shouldn't take 4 days to dry. I honestly don't know where to start with this review, other than my search continues. I'm really dumbfounded on the cost of a mani and pedi at this location. Granted, I got a dip set and gel set but the quality and service wasn't all that great. I've never spent over a $100 before and I certainly won't be spending any more of my money here again. The establishment was clean, however, the service felt really rushed. I haven't pampered myself in a while. I was hoping they would do a decent job. I had shown my nail technician a marble design and at first she said she couldn't do it. I was fine with that. Then she changed her tune and said she could do it but she would have to use gel polish. I should've known then and there that she wouldn't do a good job. Her kindergarten artwork was terrible. She didn't even clean my skin afterwards because there was still polish on my skin surrounding my nails. I also wished they separated the mani and pedi service instead of having two employees do the mani and pedi at the same time. I was only able to get 5 minutes of massage on the massage chair as the nail technician told me to turn it off because she couldn't work on my nails if I moved too much. The massage chair was very jittery. My best friend's nail technician also scolded her for moving "too much", which she wasn't at all. My friend was apologizing profusely and she didn't need to apologize in the first place. read more

They are always ready for me once I arrive. There are different packages from a basic mani/pedi to options with paraffin dip and hot stone massage. I've had gel and powder manicures and both have turned out perfect. I highly recommend all of the above. The inspiration picture vs. what I actually got... The hearts look like blobs, and the tips are terrible. I asked for them to be fixed so many times, eventually just gave up. The service was very warming and welcoming. You get a complimentary beverage for spending over $55 if I remember correctly. The girl that gave me a pedicure was very nice and gentle. They greeted me when I came in and offered me water while waiting. The tech who did my nails took time for the cuticle care. Warm towel felt and smelt great. The massage at the end was excellent. This is our place to go for pedicures. We live in the apartment across the street, so this is very convenient for us, and we have been here since 2021. We usually call ahead to check if they are busy or not. They also have online appointments. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing. I like the light music they play. Employees are nice and competent. I had Hannah for pedicure, and my wife had Bao. They took time and great care. We always choose the Renew Pedicure with extra hands and shoulders massage. She took her time ensuring my nails with the design looks great. Kim was the best. The soothing massage at the end was the perfect finishing touch. The good: I love this place! I get powder dipped nails and they look very nice every time. I have been going to this nail spa for about a year. My nails seem to last a bit longer when I get them done here. Both of my daughters get their nails done here as well. They get acrylic nails and pedicures. We sometimes bring pictures of the nail style and designs we want and they make it happen. The bad: they can get pretty busy on the weekends and I recommend calling in advance for an appointment! I came to this place with high hopes because they had 4 stars here which is more than most places around my area. The service was ok. I definitely felt rushed here. Even though I did make an appointment and wasn't just a walk in. The technician who did my nails I think was Kim. The techniques she used tp get the almond shape were definitely not what I'm used to. She was rough and left almost all of my nails crooked or lopsided even though I pointed out that they were crooked. Also the acrylic is so thick on some of nails. They clearly look rushed. The only good thing about it is that she did the design I wanted pretty well. Hence the 2 stars. I shouldn't have had to pay $65 for rushed sloppy nails even after I said something. TLDR - this place is a gem and you should try it! Let's be honest... a consistently good nail salon in Tacoma doesn't exist. Or does it and I'm only just now finding it!? First things first: they have online booking AND they took me to my chair right at my scheduled booking time (actually a few mins before since I was early, but who's counting?) Secondly: I came in with a photo and Ann was super nice and replicated the look. It actually looks better than the photo IMHO. Third: It was $55 for a gel fill with the art I requested. I thought the first was an anomaly so I returned. The second was worse than the first. I picked this place because the reviews were all so great. Well they lied!! I called and scheduled an appointment for myself my sister and my daughter to all have mani pedis. When we arrived right from the get go were rushed, we tried to sit down and look thru the choices and as we were doing so the ladies were literally standing next to us picking up the basket of choices and shaking it saying pick color pick color. That was just the beginning of our terrible service. Constantly feeling rushed, not a relaxing service like it is supposed to be. Busy salon and pretty pricey! Nice touch they offer you a drink when you arrive, but honestly you're paying for it with their sky high pricing. I only went In for gel mani for nails, but they asked if I wanted a pedi too, I needed a pedi so I thought I picked a package mani pedi for $45 and got gel polish on my toes which was $15 more so that was $60 and then I had a gel mani and that was $45. I've never spent $105 for a mani pedi. They did a good job and the guy didn't cut up my cuticles using the drill to remove gel polish which was good. I would have preferred to get my nails done first then get my pedicure, but they did it all in the pedi chair. Search continues. Update: removing another star! The gel polish manicure I had done here didn't even last me 9 days. They should last 2-3 weeks when done correctly. 2 of my nails cracked, 1 completely off. Unacceptable for the price I paid. I go here religiously !!! It's right up the road from my place in a cute town center. Everyone there is so kind and sweet. They are always courteous and seriously the best staffed place ever. They care about your nails and don't just grind away quickly. I have been 5 times and always get green tea since they offer you a beverage ! I even took my mom here for a pedi and she loved it. I always Love my nails and my toes being done here. Clean atmosphere. Amazing personelle very very skilled . Limited colors at the moment but still worth it. I just wish they had metallic !!!!
